DreadyTheBready Everything sprouted simultaneously. I also had 3 apple burgers from home grown genetics that I had germinated & planted the week prior.
DreadyTheBready Plants were left in solo cups for 5+ weeks. Though it gave me the ability to sex the apple burgers I feel like it also resulted in stunted growth in all plants across the board. 2/3 apple burgers were male and taken out of the tent. The 3 Hsc & 1 dirty bird were transplanted to 2 gallon pots filled with fox farm happy frog with added perlite & topped with some additional Gaia green 444. The one apple burger fem was transplanted into a large Greek yogurt container with the same potting mix.
DreadyTheBready Topping seemed like it played out well at this point, all 4 plants began to fill out the 2x4 grow space. But I also regret topping & being slow to transplant as I believe those external stressors led to the overall slow & small growth for ~8 weeks of veg. If I had the space and ability I would have taken clones of each of these plants & grown them out again, one set being topped & one set being grown under a trellis just to see what should have been the better option. Only one of the hsc phenohunters seemed to respond well to topping, resulting in multiple side branches & the others as well as brainstorm x murder biscuits all seemed to just slow down after. I also played a hand in the slow growth by not feeding them much beyond the initial 444 top feed. I also over defoliated in the end in an attempt to “lollipop” my plants.

DreadyTheBready Tied down some branches during the end of week 1 of flowering & I think the 2 hsc phenohunters have responded well. The DB tester is still growing very slow but it is the best smelling in the grow space.

DreadyTheBready These girls have been screaming for a feeding for a while and the snow storm has my orders of Dr earth bloom & all purpose delayed. Overdid it with my attempt at lollipoping that girl in the front & I feel as though I’ve removed too many fan leaves in general across the board. Less is more sometimes. All 3 Cheese danish x chem rsv phenos are putting off odors that fill my house with the smell of sweet bread/ fresh pastries with a really gassy filling (like bear claws stuffed with chemicals & gas) & the Dirty bird tester is so frosty & stinky I’m sad it’s going to produce so little. It smells like a nailsalon, like straight up acetone & acrylic with sweet floral air freshener being sprayed on over it. Think flower scented nail polish remover. I also pollinated the sole Apple burger female before culling the male. I thought I had properly misted her before I reintroduced her to the tent but it seems some of the other plants in the tent are forming 1-2 seeds each. Avoidable mistake but a learning moment & I am not upset because I will have a chance to grow some interesting crosses.

DreadyTheBready Nutes are in the mail. Gro was going good until I neglected the girls & procrastinated with buying nutrients. It’s been 45+ days since the last top feed and they were underfed their last feeding as well. I increased ph to 6.5-6.6 to hoping to raise ph in the root zone. I have also been removing all run off.
