iirky 👋🌱✨ Hey everyone! This is my first legal grow and kind of a dream come true. I mixed my own soil using Bionova as a base, adding worm castings (Plagron), biochar, coco coir with trichoderma and vermiculite. This should be an ideal, fluffy mix for fast-growing autoflowers. At the start, I mixed a small amount of La Calavera powder and mycorrhiza (Symbivit Uni by Symbiom) into the soil mix. During veg, I dusted the surface with 1 tsp of insect frass (local brand Rostik). I am watering with filtered water that has been left to sit in a 25 L reservoir, with a few drops of Seachem Prime added. Once, I also added a bit of worm tea to the watering (local brand Mesiho zizali caj). On day 14, I did the first gentle foliar spray (distilled water with one drop of silica). I am now turning off the humidifier and raising the VPD to 0.95. Right now, I am also testing my DIY Arduino capacitive soil moisture sensor, version 2.0. After programming the calibration, it looks like it works pretty well.

iirky 👋🌱✨ Day 21 I started (day 16.) bending the Strawberry Gorilla and it’s responding quite nicely. Milky Way is super compact, for now I’m leaving her natural. One watering of 1L was done with a pinch of bacteria and worm tea (8 ml / 1 L). Second watering (after 3-4 days) was just water - increased to 1.9L Today I’m planning a foliar spray with kelp extract (Algavit by Symbiom) Light: 40% of 150W in 60x60cm box, 20/4 Photone app: 350-380 PPFD 23-24 DLI 23000-25000 LUX 5450-5500 Kelvin

iirky 👋🌱✨ Day 28 Both strains have shown their sex. No balls in sight :) Funny how MilkyWay threw out a second main cola all by itself and is keeping the side branches even without any LST (just leaf tucking) StrawberryGorilla showed sex a few days earlier than MW, which actually surprised me. I pushed today’s watering to tomorrow, gonna topdress before the feed and I’m already curious about the stretch :) * left: Milky Way F1 right: Strawberry Gorilla

iirky 👋🌱✨ At the beginning of this week, I applied my top dress, worked it into the top layer of soil, and covered it with clay pebbles. 1.watering after top dress: 2 L + Algavit 2 g (kelp) + worm tea 28 ml + pH down = EC 1.3 2. watering (yesterday): 2.5 L water A slight deficiency and some wind stress started to appear on the leaves. I believe it was caused by a combination of high VPD, strong light intensity, and direct airflow. This is my first time growing under LED lighting and using the Spider Farmer system, so finding the sweet spot requires a bit of practice. I recalibrated the humidity and temperature sensor, raised the lamp, and applied a light Cal/Mag (Atami) foliar spray. It looks like they’re happy again. I moved my soil moisture sensor to the center of the pot and finally finished the enclosure for the Arduino. The sensor is powered through a MOSFET and only turns on briefly every 2 hours, so hopefully it won’t corrode. If anyone is interested, I can share my code. 🌱 pre-flower top dress by iirky 🌱 Worm castings (MegaWorm Plagron) – 40% Insect frass (NPK + repellent) – 20% Alfalfa meal (triacontanol) – 15% Basalt dust (slow-release minerals) – 10% Guano (high P) – 5% Barley grass powder (young barley shoots) – 5% Calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) – 5% Neem leaf powder (repellent) – 1.7% (120 g cost = 2 euros) Kelp extract (Ascophyllum nodosum) is not included in the dry mix — it is applied separately in irrigation. Designed for large containers and organic bloom support without salt buildup. 100–120 g per 56 L of soil.

iirky 👋🌱✨ The flowering phase is here, and the girls are working at full speed. The unstoppable Strawberry Gorilla is laughing at my LST techniques. She already has a subtle tropical sweetness to her aroma and is developing beautiful purple hues. Milky Way is catching up nicely in flower production; her scent is something between skunk, herbs, and rubber tires 🙂 Some deficiencies have appeared, and I think (hopefully) they were caused by underwatering. I increased watering to 10% of the pot volume, which was the first full saturation of the entire medium. At the beginning of the week, I applied a very soft foliar spray - Epsom salt at 0.4g/L. I’m watering with plain water only EC 0.35, pH 6.6.
