Wyrm Whiskers F1 Hunt

Zeven__Fyve Day 7 - doing well, nearly all of the seedlings have the father's leaf structure. three seedlings were culled for having leaves that were as thin as tissue paper and very fragile. This is a trait inherited from the high CBD father.

Zeven__Fyve [Day 14] 2 more were culled as they grew too fast and fell over, and snapped under their own weight, despite the light intensity being around 225 PPFD. Of those left are 2 tall plants and 3 shorter plants, with one of the short ones having a leaf structure that I am actually looking for.

Zeven__Fyve [Day 21] - The remaining plants have been transplanted together into a 5 gallon grow bag. This may seem weird, but this is for F2 seeds and not for flower the only thing that matters is seeds reaching maturity. Only 1 male and 1 female are going to survive, so there's plenty of soil to go around, and once a female is pollinated she will have the entire pot to herself.

Zeven__Fyve [Day 28] - two of the males were culled as the center one has the leaf structure I am looking for. Plants are being defoliated as needed to prevent one blocking the other's light. I've given the remaining plants tentative names based on either their appearance or smell. One female smells exactly like campbell's beef broth, while the other has a very faint smell like garlic. Muggsy is like the ball player Muggsy Bogues. On that note, it turns out that the tall plants on the side are actually females, and the short ones in the middle are the males. This is kind of unusual, as the females have taken on the father's structure and height, and the males have taken on the mother's structure and lack of height. It's not random chance or a matter of them being unhealthy, as every male identified so far, either in testing or with this hunt, has been short and stalky like the mother was.
