Blackflorescent 19.01.2026 Monday: Soaked seed in water for an hour then initiated paper towel germination using kitchen roll between 2 small plates, dampened with water.
20.01.2026 Tuesday: Around 24 hours later root emerged short and thin about the length of the seed and i transfered to a root riot cube. I kept it warm with a heated proagater tray underneath.
21.01.2026 Wednesday: seedling rose above the media and I placed a humidity dome over it. humdity around 85% - maximum 95%
transfered seedling in root riot cube into soil as concerned tap root not having enough depth otherwise.
3l air-pot - prepared soil using deionised water and root juice from a hand sprayer 650ml - I wanted to be precise and ensure the soil was no more than damp.
22.01.2026 Thursday: Transfered seedling into grow tent with light at 75cm and dimmed to around 200 ppfd in the 150-300 recommended range for seedlings.
23.01.2026 Friday: 1st photos today.
