Blackflorescent 19.01.2026 Monday: Soaked seed in water for an hour then initiated paper towel germination using kitchen roll between 2 small plates, dampened with water.
20.01.2026 Tuesday: Around 24 hours later root emerged short and thin about the length of the seed and i transfered to a root riot cube. I kept it warm with a heated proagater tray underneath.
21.01.2026 Wednesday: seedling rose above the media and I placed a humidity dome over it. humdity around 85% - maximum 95%
transfered seedling in root riot cube into soil as concerned tap root not having enough depth otherwise.
3l air-pot - prepared soil using deionised water and root juice from a hand sprayer 650ml - I wanted to be precise and ensure the soil was no more than damp.
22.01.2026 Thursday: Transfered seedling into grow tent with light at 75cm and dimmed to around 200 ppfd in the 150-300 recommended range for
seedlings.
23.01.2026 Friday: 1st photos today.
27.01.2026 Tuesday: 7 days since seed poked head above soil 6cm stem and seemingly slow leaf progress.
28.01.2026 Wednesday: 2 x photos. Hooked up 2 pc fans in a hanger side by side. using 2x2 tent to more efficently control the temps. Does seem asthough the growth has stalled.
I certainly dialed the lights a little close as there is a tiny amount of yellow/bleaching on the tip of a leaf.
31.01.2026 Saturday: Found the digital timer for the light had random mode switched on which meant it was turning the light off for 10mins upto 31 minutes between 18:00 and 00:00. This may well have been happening for the first 10 days and perhaps accounts for the slow growth.

two weeks after germination and i think the plant is firmly in vegetation.

06.02.2026 Friday: Nothing to say but new photos.
07.02.2026 Saturday: 560ml rainwater and nutes
08.02.2026 Sunday: Relocated enviroment sensor to top of tent next to exhuast - this is supposed to be where maximum temps are. Have a seperate hygrometer near plant - readnig is is the same at plant level as at top of tent.
Introduced inkbird co2 sensor to tent ... reading around 700ppm. toying with the idea of a compost bag type enhancer.
09.02.2026 Monday: started lst of main stem. Heard the main stem crack but no visible break. couple of hours later the head was already pointing upright.

12.02.2026 Thursday: head keeps popping up-right despite the training so removed fan leaf which was blocking new nodes light.
17.02.2026 Tuesday: Looks like entries made since last thursday didnt save so I will recap;
Potted up from 3L to 38L final pot (Air-pots)
gave up on the LST as nodes were just too close together - will 'top' when plant a little taller. Due to node spacing light is now at 12 from canopy and running at maybe 30% giving 300 umols. minimum amount of required umols at the lowest possible intensity.
purchased a humdifier - too powerful on minumum so subsequently purchased hygrometer plug/socket.

19.02.2026 Thursday: 2L rain water around edge of air-pot to take care of dry out at air holes.
later 1L + nutes to root zone to take care of what looks like Nitrogen dificiency on the lower leaves.
Raised the canopy fans to avoid potential wind burn.
lights were at 30% @30cm giving 300uMols m2ps -undimmed to 50% giving 600uMols m2ps
20.02.2026 reduced air temp to 26.5c I think 28 a little high even though its a mostly sativa.
