For the first time this week I added fertilizer of 0.5 each, and faced a very unpleasant problem, the plant rushed up so much that at the moment the top cola reached the height of the lamp, and the temperature there is quite high, very much afraid that it could damage the plant itself, and It all happened because I did the maine lining, and the central cola went to grow up, I don’t know how to solve this issue, but soon I think I’ll decide this question, wait for 6 weeks!
Hi guys! The problem is, in general, the plant in the growing box has grown so much that from the lamp to the top of 1.5 cm, the temperature there is quite high, will it somehow affect the plant? And how can I fix this if I have 5 weeks and this is main-lining with the main trunk
@kcartel, looking good! But she might appreciate a support, bamboo stick or string, to focus its energy into the buds rather than into recovering/supporting the weight
Thank you all for your help and quick feedback, and I did the following, I bent the cola 90 degrees, and in order for it not to have a chance to stretch out later, I secured it with a rope, just hung it on the main bent cola, at first it seemed that I completely I broke it, because the top is heavy and under its weight it is very twisted, well it turned out that everything seems to be normal, as you can see on the video and photo, well, let's wait for the big harvest))))
Hi @kcartel! I've had this problem in the past, and ended up buying a bigger tent 😝 But there's still a chance to prevent this main cola from burning: look at the supercropping technique, it's exactly what you need right now. By bending the main stem at almost 90° without breaking it, you will manage to get a nice flat canopy where every bud do receive the same amount of light. Be quick, or you will increase the fire hazard risk in your tent. Hope this will help, keep us updated and happy growing! 👊
