Germination

Huntablunt Hi guys, here me grow again:) IT took me a while, longer then I wanted to start the next run. This time I will give the strawberry gorilla a try. The cherry cola totally amazed me so I decided to grow fastbuds autos again. I put the seeds into the soil yesterday and am waiting for them to show up. But I always had 100% of seeds germinating, so I bet this will not be different this time. For now, I think photos are totally unnecessary, but once they begin I will take some. I am super curous, because this time I wont have to cure the harvest in the summer heat, which will definetly help to develop an even better aroma. See you soon Update Today on wednesday they all showed up at the same time, lovely:) Quite fast, just two days.

Huntablunt So, here we are in week 1 of vegetation. The plants receive water and 2ml/l rootjuice. I guess I will do this the first 2 weeks, but I will see. The autos last run we´re really quite hungry. So far I have almost ideal conditions as you can see. I have the three vents running 24/7.

Huntablunt So, its start of week 2 and everything looks ok. From this week on I give them RootJuice, Algamic and BioGrow. The EC is at 900 and will be slowly increased week by week. I am not quite sure if I should top them or not.....Actually I would not do that to automatics, since they have a short life cycle, but some reports here look like this strain might like that. If someone could share his personal experience it would be appreciated

Huntablunt Its start of week 3 and everything looks alright. I guess the latest end of the week I can start LST. Plants seem to be qute bushy and I am curious if they will stretch more. Theoretically this strain can be about 1-1.2 if I am not wring. I water them every two days by the way. At the moment this is stil enough to avoid the earth being too moist. EC hasnt changed and stays at 900 so far. Update I started LST on all the branches that stretched enough for applying these clips that I use. You will see them when week 4 starts. Also I defoliated a few of the lower leaves, that were already covered and therefore just demmand energy I want the plant to invest in elsewhere. One of the three will turn out smaller/bushier the way she seems to develop. Hopefully not because she´s "just" 2 weeks slower. Compared to the cherry cola in the last run, this strain seems to deal way better with light intensity during the first weeks, which is cool. The smaller plant for some reason makes me think, it might be a weaker pheno, because looking at the mainstem, it is just thinner and weaker than the others and when touching it, you notice it is weaker and more easily can be moved into different directions. I hope that this will fade, because if not this pheno might very well be much less capable to carry/be productive. But we will see.......I thought the same about the very bushy pheno from the cherry cola and in the end it had the smallest yield, BUT still carried arround 65 or so.

Huntablunt As you can see two of the plants react a bit more stressed towards light. It cant be too much nutrients, so I increased lampdistance. I just put it to the top and decreased light intensity, and it works welll. I really didtnt notice I had the light at full force, fck, lol. At this stage, that is definetly too much with 600+ watt. I realized my mistake quickly and I think the plants look fine Update Today I wanted to do a bit of LST and so on, and managed to break two branches on one plant, even though I was quite careful. But they grow so bushy and leaves mingle within each other that it is hard to get single branches out. One branch couldnt be fixed and broke off directly, the other I hope I can save. I apllied bandage and hope it till work to heal the wound. That really pissed me off today, because it causes stress to the plants and costs of course a bit of lovely buds. Actually I like bushy plants bt I really hope they keep stretching and then there is space to work on defoliation more. I keep on getting rid of the lower leaves I think theat are not needed. For some reason, even though he vents are running 24/7 and the plants look strong they dont seem to be as robust as the cherry cola for example. Still they seem to be needing at least another week before starting to bloom....... another update.... this strain sucks my nerves and I staert "hating" it.......those plants are way too bushy and I really dont like their unuasuak demmand of nutrients................something hard to adapt too, especially when autos cant be homogenetic as photoperiod....Again I unvoluntarily ripped off two branches....seems to be a weak genetic that has thick buut weak branches for some reason. I really dont behave like Thor without control of my energy......Well, anyways it sucks..............#I guess due to that I will loose like 30gr

Huntablunt Hello and welcome to flowering week 1..... After last week I smoked some more joints to calm down,lol........As you can see they kept stretching and now opened up a bit more......The small one is really seems to stay bushier. From my point of view I like the one on the left back from the first picture best. The one right next to it was the one I damaged and had to take off branches. I changed nutrition now and plants receive grow, bloom, topmax, calmag. I still hope I didnt cause too much stress to the damaged plant. Checking these plants for male/female, at least the bushy one, takes quite a lot of focus. And I defoliated already a bit, but got careful after my last "murderattempt"^^. Now I am just curious what will await me in a few weeks. And I think I must check my ph-measure tool..........I really think it is not exact and therefor one of the reasons I might find those weird nutrition problems that dont make that much sense at first sight, not with the ammounts given. Update MidWeek6 So today I did apply the last clips for LST. The ones I applied maybe just get adjusted if plants keep stretching, but I guess this only will be the case with the small bushy plant. If you compare her to the other 2, you see she is a bit behind. I also defoliated a bit more. In my opinion I am done defoliating the 2 bigger ones, as they look "light" now and light can enter as well as air. The smaller one now stretched to the extent that I could aplly clips everywhere I think its necesary. I am wondering if I shall leave the "endless ammount" of tiny sidebranches. This is really extreme with this phenotype. Right now, also due to the fact I accidentally broke one branch too, I think I leave it the way it is. Air can enter well now, and I guess I avoid further stress. Besides I am curious to see, what these tiny branches might produce. The cherry cola really produced only bag appeal, even the smaller buds. I will take it as an experience. Maybe I will come to the clue I should better taken them off, but well.......I will see. The only defoliation I will still do is take off some sunleaves from the small plant, to allow more light to enter to the bottom, but for now thats it. Plants are really thirsty now and 1,5Liters is the least they need. Yesterday I looked before I went to sleep and gave them even more. Plant are now 40/60/63 cm tall.

Huntablunt So week 6 has begun and the ladies have problems.......The ph of nutrition is about 6.6, the EC is at 1.4 but I found out yesterday, that here they increased the ph of tap water and therefore, at least I guess, this increased the ph of the soil. If the ph-metre is correct the soil now has 7.2 I never had to take care of that since the ph was always fine but when I went to the shop yesterday to by ph- the woman told me I am not the first one to find that out. Damn it.......So this must have happened during the first 2 weeks, when I mostly gave them water without nutrition, which obviously did not decrease the ph. What I did now is flush them with a ph of 5.7 and hope the ph then will be fine again. Here a question I have..... Would you tend to water them from now on with maybe ph 6.1/6.2 in order to further decrease ph slowly by watering??? I think I am going to do so but if anyone has experience with that, I would appreciate shared knowledge. I hope the gorillas still will finish well concerning quality/quantity because the two bigger ones show real potential. The smallerone was showing the most problems with that and she worries me. I hope she will recover and finish, if not that woulld be disappointing. Now I really do hope they finish fast like the cherry cola, so I wont have to cope with that for much longer. But definetly I now know I will have to check this frequently from now on. I also ripped of some leaves here and there, but really just bits

Huntablunt Hi guys and welcome to Week 7 As you see, the small plant really suffers and I really dont have no clue anymore whats really up. So she needs to go through like this. Signs of overnutrition cant be possible with the ec the drain has. As mentioned the ph was increased, thats why I flushed, but anyways. Compared to the other two she really doesnt seem to like these circumstances. Next run I really am goint to measure everything three times,lol.......I really dont know what the actual problem is now. Anywys the small plant stretched a bit and gained also a bit of buds. The other two are showing interesting colours. One will turn quite purple, the other seems to develop slight red tones. I am curious when they will really explode and really hope they dont had too much stress with that. Flowering-day19 Update So a few more photos from the plants.......They now start boldening and I am so excited, guess the next two weeks I could just sit by the tent and watch them get unhealthily fat, lol. This for me is the most interesting part of every grow. I always think its amazing how quickly they can develop. And if I must guess I think the purple pheno would take a bit longer than the greener, more indicalike pheno. I really cant wait to see the purple bud cured and taste them......

Huntablunt Hello and welcome to start of week 8! I hope they keep on going like this, not much to say. Buds develop and this strains potential is really amazing - will definetly grow it again, after the 100+ strains I also have in mind, lol. I guess I might throw the small plant out after this week, if she doesnt speed up a bit.

Hello guys!! I am very sorry for the late reply, but finally I can give you the last information and review to this phenomenal strain!!! For some reason my login did not work for about 2 months so I could not update/finish the report. Again, FastBuds amazed me.......These strawberries were just monsters and brought an INSANE yield of 160/130g dry. And I can tell why it was judged as a very good sativa,. I just love smoking it. Its a very nicely balanced and offers you a smooth and nice high with a finishing indica stone that just relaxes. Concerning the taste........It is a smooth, interesting smoke. Difficult for me to describe. Nothing you would smell from a mile away, knowing it, but that doesnt mean it is boring or something. I really enjoy smoking it. What I also liked very much was the growth of these two plant, not mentioning the beutiful colours and contrasts - just amazingly beautiful in my opinion. Since I updated very late I left out the last 2 weeks of flowering, in total the strain took 70 days from seed to harvest. Amazing result in 10 weeks I am so curious to finally share the pictures with you......Peace and Love

@squalino, Well, depends I think. There is genetics that are very homogentical and others not. For example "Jorges Diamond N1" is a good example of homogenetical hybrids. I had three seeds which looked just like clones. That can be very cool, if you catch a special pheno, but I am not that bothered with different phenotypes, as long as they are somewhat interesting/special.
