Camrude Initially I tried the paper towel in zip lock bag method, but my temps where a bit low for it and after 48 hours I decided to put the seed directly in the pot even if he had not germinated yet. I left the light on and the exhaust fan on low to increase temps. 2 days later the seed is popping out. I kept the top layer moist with 100ppm calmag solution at 5.8 pH. I am also using an aerated dome to keep humidity high.

Camrude Had to leave often during this grow. Generally never had big problems for it. Left some automatic dripping bags that often failed, but that was not critical. Usually I just do some clean up when I come back, remove some leaves, and this week I also started LST. I was pretty aggresive with it this grow and I tried going in a spiral.

Camrude Once again I was away for almost a week so not many photos, just from when I came back and after refreshing the training. Also she showed her first pistils.

Camrude Once again I was away for some days. When I come back the plant is looking a bit down looking back at the photo later, but at the moment it looked good to me so I went on with a pretty heavy defoliation. That probably stressed her even more. I also kept bending and plucking daily, not really letting her the time to recover. She still looked pretty food after some days.

Camrude The canopy is filling up very nicely, and you can start noticing thricomes production on leaves. I kept the plant clean consistently plucking leaves where needed. On day 54 I did a very heavy defoliation. I did it both because I wanted to experiment with this kind of technique, and also because I was leaving for 10+ days and the canopy was already pretty full so I just cleaned up completely to let it recover while I was away.

Camrude I was away 10+ days, and when I came back I was surprised how well the plant recovered from the heavy defoliation. Looking at it now (writing this journal some weeks later after I finished the grow) I dont think I would do it again. I think it was uneccesary stress, and combined to a nutrient imbalance, probably due to the inconsistency caused by the failing automatic dripping system (my next grow will be with autopots), it led to pretty dark, 3 fingered leaves and purple stem, so definitely not ideal. Anyway everything could have been much worse since the plant is still going strong, and producing very nice and numerous bud sites. From now on I basically let it go without interfering. Just feeding and sligthly replacing bud sites when needed to get better lighting. Disclaimer that I probably should have done before: as I said my automatic dripping system kept failing (cheap dripping bags from aliexpress that work really good with clean water but is a mess with salt based nutrient solution). This obviously caused nutrient imbalances that luckily weren't critical during the whole growth, but I also had to fix it pretty often when coming back after being away for someday. I had to flush multiple times, resaturate the medium ecc. It was never an exact science, just winging it by giving big waterings and measuring runoff to find balance. I am not describing in deatil this process that I have done multiple times, but I had to do it. Just to clarify that I did not just ignore that the plant was having a bad feeding schedule even if she wasn't showing extremely clear signs. Obviously my recovering was far from ideal but still patched up a bit what could have been worse.

Week 16. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

Honestly this grow took way too long. I did a staggered harvest because I couldnt wait longer but the difference in maturity between lower and tops could not be ignored. And honesttly the top too could have gone longer but that would have made this grow ridicoulosly long, more than it already is. I harvested the first 3G on 7/02/2026. Then 4 more grams on 14/02. Then a bit more: 25 grams between 18 an 19 febraury. Then the biggest one, on 24/02 I harvested 94 grams. And last I harvested 25 grams on 4/03. This means the first harvest was done at week 16, and the last at week 20/21. I got 150g of dried and cured bud. Terps are not amazing on it but mine was defenetily not a perfect grow, lot of room to improve. The best thing about the whole harvest was making hash. I dry sifted the sugar leaves from the trim for 3 runs and got a total of 15g of hash + I washed the fresh frozen wet trimmed bigger leaves and got around 7g of hash out of it. The hash is actually very tasty and enjoyable and hits like a truck. Smoking the flower also hits hard. She confirms to be a big kief yielder when running it through a grinder with a mesh screen. The question is: would I run this strain again? Honestly yes, I would at least defenetily give it a second chance. This was defenetily not the most ideal grow and she still grew like a monster, so I'm sure with a few adjustments and more care you can get crazy results and yields and a better terpene profile too. This was also only my second grow overall so there's room for improvement.
