Temperatures remain slightly below ideal due to cold outdoor conditions, but despite this, the plants are responding very well, showing healthy growth and well-formed leaves. Despite running under lower-than-ideal temperatures, their response has been excellent, with good leaf color, balanced internodal spacing, and strong overall vigor. Irrigation is kept intentionally conservative, applied only when the pots feel clearly light when lifted by hand, encouraging proper root activity and oxygenation. At this stage, plants are receiving only pH-adjusted water at 5.5, with no added nutrients, as the substrate still provides sufficient nutrition. Plants are well established in their final 7L pots, showing a healthy structure and consistent growth. So far, only pure well water has been used, no additives or nutrients added. The Canna Pro substrate is still providing all the nutrition needed at this stage. Lighting is kept soft on purpose, LEDs running at 30% and positioned about 100 cm above the canopy. Keeping temperatures in range is a bit challenging at the moment, as they tend to run slightly low due to the cold outdoor conditions. To help maintain the best possible environment inside the grow room, the intake and exhaust fans are set to run for 10 minutes every 3 hours. Daytime temperatures sit around 21°C, night temperatures drop to about 15°C, and humidity remains stable at 60%. pH is holding steady at 5.5. No CO₂ supplementation, no controllers, no air conditioning. Simple setup, letting the plants adapt and do their thing. So far, Zokas Sapphire is responding very well. The plants look comfortable, healthy and full of life. Nice color, strong structure and steady growth all around. This week was their first feeding with Gout Fertilizantes: • 2 ml/L GB • 1 ml/L WG1 There’s always that small moment of “let’s see how they react”… but they handled it perfectly. No burnt tips, no stress, just clean and happy growth. We also managed to raise the temperatures a couple of degrees, both during the day and at night, and they definitely seem to appreciate it. The overall vigor and posture improved noticeably. Watering has been increased to 500 ml per plant, matching their current demand as the root system continues to expand. They are drinking steadily and responding well. The canopy is starting to fill in and you can feel the momentum building. Las plantas se ven cómodas, sanas y llenas de vida. Buen color, estructura fuerte y crecimiento constante. Esta semana recibieron su primera alimentación con Gout Fertilizantes: • 2 ml/L de GB • 1 ml/L de WG1 Siempre hay ese pequeño momento de “a ver cómo reaccionan”… pero lo han llevado perfecto. Sin puntas quemadas, sin señales de estrés, todo limpio y estable. También hemos conseguido subir las temperaturas un par de grados tanto en la fase diurna como en la nocturna, algo que claramente han agradecido. Se nota en el vigor general y en la postura de las plantas. Hemos aumentado el riego a 500 ml por planta, adaptándonos a la mayor demanda a medida que el sistema radicular sigue expandiéndose.
