On February 4 I put 3 seeds to x-seed yakuza over night, then I put them to roots riot muffins and hide them into my unused laundry basket lamp. Two days later 3 of 3 greets the world. I realy like both products I meantioned for germination.

Two days ago I pinched the tops. The plants look fine except for one. Its leaves started curling and I don't know why. It has the same conditions as the other two and they are fine. Thanks to @Green_claws for prompt answer to my question. It realy looks like over feeded. I also have no experioence with root pots and it needs different watering. Always learning.

vyndalin 3.3.2026 – Another week has passed and the seedlings have officially moved into the vegetative phase. On Tuesday I gave them Terra Vega for the first time and bent them down. Fuck, I Missed with BG#41 somehow and now there are basically no gaps between the branches, just branches growing on top of more branches. A few hours later you can’t even tell it had any bending joints. It’s basically a leafy salad. :)
Besides the PAR meter, the AC5 power strip and the soil sensor, I also ordered the Spider Farmer humidifier. On top of that I grabbed the Mars Hydro New Foldable Bucket Drip Irrigation Kit (it was 20€ cheaper than the Spider Farmer one, it’s identical, and through the AC5 it works in the Spider Farmer app just like everything else). I added a circulation pump to the reservoir as well, so the nutrient solution gets mixed before each irrigation. The reason I chose this model is the insanely strong magnetic mount. With the reservoir material that’s perfect, because there’s zero risk of damage and the pump stays in place like it’s welded on.
Ladies are about to be Bitchy & Stretchy.
5.3.2026 - Today I switched the photoperiod to 12/12. I had to thin out the BG#41, including removing a few branches — it was just too much. Even so, it’s still a hydra. Current values are in the photo.

vyndalin 14.3.2026 – I forgot to report on Thursday. The plants look healthy, but honestly I expected all of them to branch out similarly to the one in the back right. Well, they behave a bit differently than the Sensi strains I’m used to.
Anyway, they’re getting grow nutrients and the light cycle is 12/12. They look healthy and hopefully they’ll stretch a bit more. If not, then not. I bet that next time, when I leave them on 18/6 for longer, they’ll overgrow like crazy.
Some values are shown in the screenshot from the app.
Since I stopped drinking, I’ve got a lot of free time and I need to keep my mind busy with some project. The video shows the values I’m already reading into my upcoming custom console (working title HOLY IQ 6000). Next week I should receive a tool that will make this much easier, including writing back to the controller.
I also have parts for a pH probe for the nutrient tank — that will come next.

vyndalin 19.3. - Today the plants received their first flowering nutrients. The canopy isn’t filling the space quite the way I imagined, but overall the plants look healthy and vigorous. Now that the feeding schedule is shifting, it will be interesting to see how they respond over the next few days.
During the week I removed leaves several times. At this stage they’re producing far more foliage than expected — it feels more like managing a patch of cabbage than cannabis. Still, the structure underneath looks solid, and the plants seem to handle the defoliation well.
Hope it's last time debraching-defoliation

vyndalin 26.3. - The plants are developing well. The Super Boof in the back is about a week ahead of the others, but they all look healthy. I’ve been defoliating every other day. Not sure if this level of leafiness is normal under LEDs or if it’s just the genetics. Last time I grew under a lamp was 20 years ago with HPS, so I’ve got zero real LED experience.
My irrigation rings arrived, so watering should be more even now. The stock sprinklers are better than nothing, but not as good as I require. I still need to figure something out with the reservoir, because 10 liters of solution is basically “running on fumes” and the pumps keep sucking air. I was thinking about putting an inflatable ball under the tank — that would raise the water level by its volume, and the pumps on the edges would sit in a kind of “moat” with a higher water line. But I need to think it through — I really don’t want to flood the neighbors.
Some readings from the GGS are in the picture.

vyndalin 2.4.2026 -Another week behind me. I swapped out the vendor sprinklers for Netafim NetBow irrigation rings — finally the watering is even across the whole pot and not just in two spots like a weak Wi-Fi signal. Last Thursday I pulled them all out of the tent and sent them to the hairdresser — half of everything went straight to compost, and it finally looks like they’ve taken a breath and the canopy has spread out nicely to the sides.
Not exactly how I imagined it, because I’m an idiot and didn’t realize I’d been blasting them with way too much light — I should’ve dialed the intensity down or raised the light a bit so they’d stretch. Well, I guess I’ll have to remember how I used to do it back then.
Some numbers as usual (WC is low because it’s a snapshot taken right after watering and the moisture hasn’t distributed everywhere yet).
Let it grow!

vyndalin 16.4 - The week with PK 13/14 is behind us. There isn’t much to comment on. No signs of any issues at all. After the heavy debranching, Blue Gelato 41 suddenly remembered she’s supposed to be the tallest one — and she is. Overall they’re looking healthy and doing great. Some readings in the picture.

vyndalin 23.4 - Another week is over. This one was quite stressful for the plants because I had to leave and leave the plants here. Unfortunately, the power went out on Friday and I have the whole tent plugged into a smart socket ( not spider farmer AC power strip) that wasn't set up to not turn on after a power outage and then back on, so it was dark from Saturday to Wednesday. You can see it especially on the blue gelato, which, poor thing, was streching for the light. I'll see how much of an impact it will have. The girls drink, so they'll give it a go. Anyway, the return home wasn't as expected. 😥💩

vyndalin 30.4 - everything goes well. No problem. BG41 broken again because she is starting to think she is a sativa. No, she is not. So I am hoping for some cherries, no big buds. I also did some defo again. The plants are much bushier under LED than under HPS. Beautifull smell...

vyndalin 7.5. - We’re slowly getting to the end. The ladies have been on plain water since Sunday. Yesterday I did the last defoliation to make sure the lower sites still get enough PPFD. On one of the Super Boof buds I noticed a dried sugar leaf — and I know what that means. The pineapple test (you can pull the leaf straight out with zero resistance) confirmed it immediately: bud rot. I cut the whole bud off and carefully checked the rest. Looks like I caught it in time. I adjusted the system settings right away to minimize the chance of it spreading, and I’ll be checking morning and evening.
Another thing — I finally managed to identify the second Super Boof from the ripening buds on the third plant, so I had the Super Boof labeled as Blue Gelato 41 and vice versa.
That’s about it for now. I’ll keep monitoring and react as needed. I’d rather harvest slightly under‑flushed buds than lose everything to mold. I’ll probably have to upgrade the duct fan and filter to 150 mm for better extraction and less noise — it’s in the room where I sleep — and maybe add a dehumidifier. I need to rethink the setup for the next round.
Fingers crossed I really caught it in time, growmies. Have a nice day

vyndalin 14.5 - Week 13 is behind us. Unfortunately I found one bud with mold on the Blue Gelato 41 as well, so I had to act fast. Watching the plants get more mold day by day didn’t seem like the best plan, so I harvested the tops from those two plants right away.
The last Super Boof — a.k.a. the ‘wide‑legged lady’ — took full advantage of the new situation. I flipped the circulation fan upside down and hung the light at an angle, so she basically has no lower canopy at all. This plant looks like: ‘I’m ripe, but I can easily stay here another month.’ I don’t think mold is a threat for her, so she can chill there for another 2–3 weeks if she wants.
Since Tuesday she’s back on bloom nutrients. I mixed her another 10 liters as a farewell gift… Honestly, I don’t even know what a perfectly ripe Super Boof is supposed to look like. Back in my younger days, weed looked completely different.
I’ll put a full review later. For now I can say it’s the stinkiest plant I’ve ever grown. Ever. There’s absolutely nothing stealth about it.

vyndalin 24.5 - 73 day of flowering. It’s a shame it started catching mold and I had to chop earlier than planned (still ripe, just sooner than I wanted). But I’m definitely buying this strain again. First, they claim up to 3 kg per plant outdoors — and I really want to see that with my own eyes. So I’ll wait for Cannafest, grab it for half the price, and start around late April or early May.
Second… I think I’m already addicted to that smell. It’s insanely strong.
vyndalin 21.5 - 70th day of flowering and here it is. Her last week. I will probably cut her down this weekend. I don't see any significant increase in mass that would convince me that the energy expended will be adequate for the yields. Plus, she is already ripe.
vyndalin 24.5 -Day 73 of flower is enough for this lady from lot 20.1125. I honestly can’t imagine what she would look like if I had let her grow naturally without any training. And because I really want to know, I germinated one more seed and tossed it on the balcony.
I tasted a small sample from the plant I harvested earlier and it has a very pleasant citrus, almost lime‑like flavor. But I’ll judge the real taste after a month in jars — and longer.
I also harvested the lowers from the Super Boof and the Blue Gelato 41. The buds turned beautifully purple and hardened up nicely. There will definitely be a few joints from those as well.
Overall I’m happy with this run, even though I’m taking a few lessons with me for the next rounds:
Three plants are too much for a 70×70 tent. One plant would be ideal, but I don’t like putting all my eggs in one basket, so I’ll go with two.
- Light was on 80% max with 1200+ ppfd to the nearest buds. She handled that like piece of cake.
I’m buying a dehumidifier (!) and tuning the ventilation. The current setup is technically strong enough, but I sleep right next to it, so I need a compromise between noise and performance. Maybe I’ll 3D‑print some adapters for the light and mount a couple of PC fans on it. I’ll see. Either way, I don’t want to harvest early because of mold.
Now I’ll let them hang in the tent until they dry, then they go into jars. After that, full tent disinfection and we’ll see what’s next. I still have Limoncello and Glookies from Barney’s (mostly sativa and mostly indica). I think I can handle that. But maybe I’ll throw in that S.A.D. F1 Fast Version I have on the balcony. Still deciding.
Anyway — may it grow, bloom, keep the pH steady, and stay mold‑free.💪
Those colas look chunky, frosty and well matured. It definitely looks like she’s reached the finish line and rewarded all the work you put into her. Fantastic run, congratulations 👏
Happy and healthy Ladys. We have a similar Super Boof Pheno. Is your soapy Lemon with a lot of Gas.? Can you please describe the smell. I'm just curious.
@Stony_German, hello mate, I'm not sure I can describe the smell correctly. But it reminds me citruses and pine. Not earthy tones at the moment. But if it'S true?
I can't say for sure. :)
Looking really good! Like what i'm seeing😎
wondering wether the figures make any sense😯(?)....... even without leaf-temp-offset VPD will hardly go higher than 1.3 at this temp/rh; with just a little offset, it should be about 1.0/1.1 ........ basically perfect for this stage of growth😀!
keep it up💪!
