Harry_Pothead To beautify my home, I'm planting this free seed from Hanfgartenshop as an ornamental plant, initially with one and later probably several grow lights, which will be anchored in the potting soil, and without a grow tent.
I'll run the lights 24 hours and see where that leads.
Later, one or two more lights will be added.
The seed germinated without any problems, and we can get started…
… In the diary "Auto Cookies & Cream - Dutch Passion" by @Momentum, I found my inspiration for this grow. There you can see what this setup can/could lead to. Really interesting…
I'm not expecting a lot of good cannabis here at first, but hemp is a cool and beautiful plant, and it's fascinating to see how it grows, in whatever environment.
Let‘s grow 💪🏽

Harry_Pothead Everything is okay so far. I think the seedling 🌱 is showing normal growth so far. The second set of leaves is just starting to expand. It remains exciting… 🧐

Harry_Pothead So far, everything is okay. The fourth node is just forming.
What’s next?
During the week, I want to top up the pot with a bit of soil. I also want to water with neem oil because a few fungus gnats see the plant as their meeting point.
As soon as the 5th node forms, I will do LST. One problem is that I have no idea what kind of height growth is coming my way. The hemp garden says about the height: "Large"... If it said "small," I would skip the LST.

Harry_Pothead The LST was 2 days ago and the plant seems to be handling it well. The little shoots have already grown a bit longer.
By the way: Today I ordered auto seeds for spring from zamnesia. The session is starting soon 👌

Harry_Pothead I removed the leaves at the first nodes of the stems. Now I'm curious how long the growth will last and what overall height the plant will reach.

Harry_Pothead The plant is developing beautifully and looks really healthy. So far, the light is sufficient.
The plant is already emitting a sweet scent, as it occasionally intensifies during the growth phase. Actually, the apartment smells really good now, but that can't be a permanent state (due to visitors and so on), and I'm afraid the plant will have to go out on the balcony as soon as the weather allows it..

Harry_Pothead … In the photos, you can clearly see that the flowering is starting now. The smell has decreased a bit again, but it's still noticeable in the apartment.

Harry_Pothead Today I bent the shoots down again and removed some leaves. When the sun shone briefly, she got a little taste of what’s in store for her… a move outdoors as soon as the weather gets better.

Harry_Pothead The room decor is getting used to becoming a beautiful greenhouse gem. Overnight, it still stood in the apartment and otherwise during the day in the blazing sun or greenhouse...
... It's a great plant, I think.

Harry_Pothead BioBizz does not do a complete job, and I have no issues with deficiencies or anything like that…
The flowering is very dark purple in color. Back when I was younger, purple weed was something really special 😅
The plant shows a big difference between the top and the lower branches. The lower buds have hardly developed any flowers, while the top ones are doing quite well…
I took a photo of each…

Harry_Pothead Slowly, the lower shoots are also starting to produce flowers. However, the difference between the top and lower retrievers is still quite large, and I think I will have to harvest in stages here… The weather is pretty good, and BioBizz takes care of the rest. Everything's cool in Cincinnati 👌

Harry_Pothead The plant looks vibrant and has a very purple appearance. It's probably the most purple plant I've ever had, and I'm glad I named it "Room Decoration" when it was still a seedling. The smell is very mixed and leans towards an earthy-musk profile.

Harry_Pothead … And once again, there's nothing negative to report. A great plant that has no mold, no pests, no nutrient problems, and looks extravagant. I will harvest the next step except for the bottom two shoots, and I think I’ll give the rest another week or two longer…
Harry_Pothead I harvested the plant in two stages. For the most part, it was dry 15 g and the rest was maybe another 2 g. The smell and taste are typical Gelato, and I would describe the effect as mild and "typically Hybrid"…
A beautiful phenotype that caused no problems when planting. The flowers were very interspersed with foliage, and that would also be my only point of criticism…
@Harry_Pothead, I'm surprised that no one produces designer floor lamps with power for cars, like an open system, without a tent, so it integrates nicely into the living space.
@Momentum, Yes, that's definitely a market gap!?
A similar thought:
If I were a carpenter, I would specialize in high-quality grow setups. Ones that you can place like a display case/sideboard in the living room or hallway and have visibility and light when needed, or the option to darken it from the outside…
… maybe you understand what I mean 😅
@Harry_Pothead, I tried this in an IKEA box with smoke glass, nice effect, when the lamp is off you can't see anything, when it's on, you can see it, but it doesn't shine out as much as it does with open grow boxes. So light open parts only work with autos, but they often grow bigger than my "stick" photos, and IKEA only has a max height of 60cm with smoke glass. Check out the auto cookies and cream in the first 2 weeks, it's with a 115W AC Infinity, my best designer piece so far.
@Harry_Pothead, I grew a dwarf auto with a 30w standing lamp, it ended up being 70cm tall with topping, but in coco, and 14g in the end, I know it’s not about that.....
For the other grow, I read that the tent is in the greenhouse, I also thought about the gallons because it doesn’t show as pure 11l to me.
@Momentum, that's awesome that she grew so tall despite being topped. She probably wanted to get closer to that 30W 😅
14g is pretty cool for such a setup 💪🏼
Did you light her with the floor lamp for 18 hours?
@Harry_Pothead, with open systems, you have to orient yourself to the 12-hour winter sun rather than the lamp; with such systems, they go to sleep with the sun, and after that, the artificial lamp seems more like a torture, that's how I feel. Yeah, about the coco, it was only 1.5 liters, but it rose in there like dough :D
