BlossomB The Blue Mazar has really gone on a hero's journey this week! Even though the start looked a bit bumpy, it absolutely surprised me in terms of vitality.
Germination & Start:
The germination rate was a solid 100%. On the 4th day after being planted in the soil, it made its first appearance, but it looked a bit "crooked" at that point. One of the seed leaves was heavily curved, which immediately earned it the nickname "the ugly duckling" from me.
Development:
But what can I say? The duckling has transformed into a beautiful swan incredibly quickly! Despite the curvature at the beginning and the fact that it took a day longer than its neighbor, it has already surpassed it. It shows enormous strength and seems to have made the most of nature's little boost (or the extra day of rest).
I'm extremely curious to see if it maintains this above-average pace. If it keeps going like this, the Blue Mazar will definitely be the star in the tent!

BlossomB This week was a real challenge for the Blue Mazar.
Unfortunately, I had to realize that I brought in thrips with low-quality hardware store soil (for the companion vegetable plants).
The little pests have put a lot of stress on the young Blue Mazar, which is clearly visible on its leaves.
Back to the ugly duckling.

BlossomB My little Blue Mazar has handled the repotting without a fuss, the roots are white and healthy, that's the foundation for a real beast. With a span of over 18 cm and a stem diameter of a proud 0.6 cm, she stands rock solid in the fabric pot, as if nothing happened. I'm extremely proud of her development and I'm curious to see how much faster she will grow now 😊🐥

BlossomB 🌿Growth & Resilience🌿
I'm absolutely thrilled with the development of my Blue Mazar Automatic. It shows extremely robust growth and impressive resilience. The leaves are a rich green, and the structure of the plant is very compact and strong.
🌿Low Stress Training (LST)🌿
This week, I started Low Stress Training to optimize light yield and promote side shoots. The Blue Mazar has taken to the training fantastically! No signs of stress – it just keeps growing happily and is already forming a nice, even canopy.
🌿Nutrients🌿
So far, I've decided not to fertilize yet. The plant looks super vibrant and seems to be pulling everything it needs from the substrate. As long as it doesn't show any deficiency symptoms and looks so healthy, I'll just let nature take its course.

BlossomB 🌿Growth & Resilience🌿
This week has been a bit of a challenge for my Blue Mazar Automatic. After developing perfectly until now, she has hit a small bump.
⚠️Weather-related Stress
Due to an open window near the tent, the temperatures in the root area have unfortunately dropped a bit too much.
As an auto, she doesn’t handle such climate fluctuations very well. She’s currently a bit droopy and feeling under the weather – a classic sign of a cold shock at the roots.
🌿Adjustment & Care🌿
Since she’s signaling to me that she could use some support, I’ve adjusted my strategy:
Climate Control:
The window is now closed to keep the temperatures stable.
Nutrients:
I’ve started the first feeding to help her recover and provide the necessary building blocks so she can shake off the stress quickly.
I’m confident she’ll bounce back soon. She’s a robust strain and will definitely get back on track.
💧Nutrients:
🌿Canna Terra Vega (2.5 ml/l)
🌿Cannazym (2.5 ml/l)

BlossomB 🌿Things are looking up again🌿 Flowering phase has begun
Last week was a real test for my Blue Mazar Automatic, but I'm happy to report that she has turned the corner. The little "cold shock" from the open window is behind us, and the plant has visibly stabilized.
🌿Status Update🌿
We have officially made the switch: The flowering phase has begun.
The little one is showing great resilience despite the stress incident and has coped well with the transition to flowering. She is standing tall again, and the signs of recovery are clearly visible. The structure I achieved through training looks very promising for the upcoming flower production.
🌿Adjustment🌿
Climate control was key: The temperatures in the tent are now stable, giving her the necessary security to put all her energy into flower formation. 🙏

BlossomB 🌿Trichome Formation🌿
An absolute highlight this week! The first sparkling trichomes are now visible to the naked eye on the sugar leaves and the flower calyxes. It's starting to look wonderfully "frosty."
🌿Pistils🌿
The white hairs (pistils) are still standing tall and show that the plant still has a lot of potential for further growth in the coming weeks.

BlossomB 🌿Welcome to the third week of the flowering phase🌿
The genetics are really showing their potential now. The stretch is over, and the energy is now fully directed towards producing resin and flower mass.
🌿Development this week🌿
The trichome production is already phenomenal for week 3. As you can see in the photos, the buds and the surrounding sugar leaves are already nicely coated with frost. Everything is sticky🤭

BlossomB 🌿The Blue Mazar Auto is an absolute surprise🌿
I actually thought she was just focusing on swelling her massive main buds. But she had other plans. During flowering, she suddenly kicked it into high gear again and started producing new branches and fresh flower clusters everywhere!

BlossomB ☀️The big vacation test☀️
Completely on my own!
This week was under a very special star 🌟.
The survival training. I was on vacation starting Tuesday and no one could check on things or water the girls. So the Blue Mazar Auto had to perform completely alone in the tent for a few days. The view from the surveillance camera and finally the return was all the more exciting!

BlossomB 🌿We have officially reached the final phase of this beautiful Blue Mazar Auto🌿
The buds have swollen massively, are extremely compact, and show the classic, heavy Indica structure. The trichome production is in full swing, and the sugar leaves look like they've been dusted with powdered sugar✨️
The smell in the tent is insanely intense, a mix of earthy, spicy Mazar notes paired with the sweet, fruity undertone of the Blueberry.
I'm now closely observing the trichomes with a magnifying glass. The finish line is in sight! I will soon start flushing to have a clean final product.

BlossomB The Blue Mazar reveals itself in the final week as a beautiful, extremely compact, and heavy Indica. The main and side branches are completely filled under the enormous weight of the dense flower clusters. Thanks to the excellent penetration of the LED lighting, even the middle bud levels are rock-hard and fully matured.
🌿 Flower Structure: 🌿
The buds are extremely compact and covered in a thick, sticky layer of resin. Almost 95% of the stigmas (pistils) are now a deep orange-brown color and dried out, a clear macroscopic sign of full maturity.

BlossomB 🏁 Harvest Week: Blue Mazar Auto – The Grand Finale!
It's finally here:
The day of the harvest has come! I was really looking forward to the Blue Mazar Auto throughout the entire run, and what can I say? It absolutely did not disappoint me.
🌿 Smell & Appearance: herb:
✨️ Aroma: The smell is extremely pleasant. A wonderfully sweet profile that is intense without being unpleasantly overpowering or "stinky."
✨️ Bud Structure: The buds have turned out really nice, compact, and firm.
✨️ Color: Unfortunately, there was no blue coloration. However, since the grow took place under the roof and the temperatures were quite high, that's not surprising.
🌿 Robustness & Obstacles in Retrospect: herb:
The Blue Mazar Auto has proven to have real resilience throughout its life, as the start was anything but easy:
🔵 Thrips Infestation: Right in the early phase, it had to deal with a nasty infestation.
🔵 Cold Shock: Due to an open window, it got so cold at times that the plant almost died on me.
🌿 My Conclusion on Resilience: herb:
The genetics are extremely robust! It forgives mistakes and handles heat brilliantly. Cold, on the other hand, it does not like at all.
🌟 A Fascinating Phenomenon
What was particularly exciting was a phenomenon that surprisingly occurred in all three plants (including the two sisters that weren't directly next to me)
In the middle of the flowering phase, the plants suddenly started to develop completely new shoots and flowers. Normally, one fears inferior "popcorn buds," but far from it! These new shoots have grown rapidly into really big, compact, and heavy buds.
🏆 Conclusion on the Run
Despite the initial difficulties and thanks to its enormous heat resistance, the Blue Mazar Auto has delivered across the board. The buds are now hanging to dry, and I can hardly wait to do the first smoke test. An absolute recommendation for any grower!
My girlfriend's verdict: She usually has issues when the effects hit too quickly or too hard. For her, the Blue Mazar was a home run. She described the onset of the effects as a "pleasant knock" – super smooth and absolutely perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
My buddy's verdict: That was the biggest surprise. He usually smokes a lot and prefers the stronger stuff. Despite his high tolerance, he was really impressed and found the effects extremely good.
