They hatched in little net pots on a bed of soaked perlite, then went into these 2L pots after a few days. The pictures this week were taken at day 7 for #2 and #3 (and day 9 for #1). I plan to top them once and keep the two biggest sides for a total of 4 colas per plant. :) As far as I can tell they're fast growing and healthy looking seedlings, off to a decent start then. I do veganic no-till in small 5gal fabric planters with olla pots in them and placed in drip trays for easy bottom-up irrigation. Irrigation from the top for "raining" in amendments during a grow. Clay olla pot inside the planter, with its body in the centre of the block of soil, for reliable moisture control even when I forget to water for a few days.

All three have been topped at the end of week 2. Growth has slowed down a bit this week but not by much. Potting up into planters the next week.

Early update, plants are doing fine, potted them up tonight - not entirely sure when to flip them. I'll see what growth is like the coming week and decide.

Grow Questions

What do you guys reckon how big they'd get - height, yield etc. - if I flipped them to 12/12 now at exactly 3 weeks? I'm of half a mind to give them another 2 or so, but at the same time I'm keen to see what they can do in 9 weeks total - I'd leave them topped once with 2 sides.

If they are sexually mature, then you can flip them and flowering will begin. As long as you have the first pistils go ahead, Usually plants reach sexual maturity after developing 5 nodes, yours look like they have 3 or 4, can't really tell. If you flip them before that, they won't begin the preflower stage until they reach said point.

Flipped #1 and #2 to 12/12 - I'm keeping #3 in veg for another wee while only because I'm slightly re-arranging my grow room, I'm hoping to have that done before the end of the week.

#3 had to wait only 1 day until I had more space, so they've been in flower for a week and a week and a day, respectively.

Defoliated them a bit during week 3 of flower to get more lights to the bud sites.

Moved them about a bit, they're in the middle row right under the light fixture now, bud sites should be getting all that luminous goodness now.

Battling higher temperatures at the moment, it's almost like it's summer or something. Pheno #1 has the nicest smell, #2 the most vigorous growth, whereas #3 is not being remarkable so far.

Week 6 and two of them (#1, #2) are smelling very sweet. I may let them run a bit longer than the advertised 6 weeks, they look like they could pack on some more weight. However, I'll probably start chopping a cola off of them every couple days anyway until they're gone, because my jars are empty.

I let them flower for the advertised 6 weeks, but all 3 plants probably should have flowered longer. I'm keeping 2 of 3 plants for now to give it a 2nd run with a longer flower time: 1st pheno I got was the nicest smelling, 2nd one was the fastest and strongest.
