blablamesh For germination I've put the seed in a glas with tap water and moved it to a dark place. It was kinda cold ~20ยฐC but the seed germinated 36 hours later on the 16.02. Then I moved it to the final pot with 5l volume. The seedling came out of the ground on the 18.02. I was away for a few days and put roughly 1 liter of water into the self watering base. I think the soil pulled too much water, so the growth was not as great for a week due to over watering.

blablamesh After the soil dried up a bit after the initial over watering I increased the light intensity to 400 ยตmol/mยฒ/s and moved the lamp a little bit closer to the plant. Today a watered the plant for the first time with 400ml of nutrient solution (2ml Vinasse/ 1l of water). The plant seems to be doing fine at this point and starts to thicken a little bit. Also I forgot to mention in the last post that my ventilation is at the bottom of the tent, so I can pull the warm air from top more effectively.

blablamesh My girl seems fine. I gave her another liter of nutrient solution (3ml vinasse), half from the bottom half from the top. She didn't drink everything from the bottom yet. I switched to a different air filter because I wasn't satisfied with the last one and moved the whole contraption to the top of the tent. I also topped the plant after the fourth internode a few days ago. Next week will probably the last week of veg. Light is still at 400 ยตmol/mยฒ/s. If there is some info missing, let me know:)

blablamesh In the beginning of the week I removed the fan leaves to get more light into the middle of the plant. I did some lst to spread out the tops a little more and injured the one of the sidearms, but nothing disastrous. The growth in general crazy at the moment and I am planning to switch to 12/12 tomorrow. Not sure if it's the right time, but I have no experience in this tent and the radical juice should stretch a fair bit, so it's probably fine. As always the last picture was taken on the last day of week 4.

blablamesh Although I just flipped to 12/12 I decided to remove some of the fan leaves to improve light penetration. I also used some rubber bands to create a DIY scrog net with a lot of flexibility. In general the plant seems to be doing fine. In the mid of the week I added some phosphor boost to the regular nutrient solution, because my regular mix doesn't have phosphor at all. Forgot to mention that I dimmed the light to 600 ppfd since the beginning of flower. Also moved the air filter and co. to the top again, because it was getting too hot and dry.

blablamesh Not really happy with this week. I expected a lot more stretch from the plant, but there is sadly almost none. Also not happy how some of the leaves are looking (turned down). I thought that it might be light or water stress but I tried to reduce both factors and it didn't really change anything. Also tried to lower the vpd but also nothing changed. There are a few gnats here and there, but I can't imagine they would have such an impact, so my last theory would be the pH of the water, but I just ordered a pH meter and it will take some time to arrive. I you have any ideas, let me know.

blablamesh In this week's episode of radical juice growing:
- defoliation
- 700 ppfd
- flooding the tent
- dry ass air which I am tired of fighting, so I embrace it
- 1.8 vpd
- organic phosphor boost
- somewhat happy plant
Thank you for attention, see you next week.

blablamesh There was some stretch this week so I tried to spread out the branches a little bit out. This week it's also not as dry in the tent. Light intensity is now at 900 ppfd. I also did a tiny bit of lollipopping, not really necessarily at this plant size.

blablamesh New week, new set of pictures. The grow is starting to get lame, because I don't have anything to do besides watering. This week I added some microorganisms and molasses to the feeding solution. The plant in general seems relatively happy, although there are some burnt tips and calmag spots here and there. I'll probably add some magnesium to my water to achieve a good cal/mg balance. This week there was also some heavy ass trichome production. The smell is very fruity and citrusy, sadly there is almost none of the unique botanical garden smell left, the plant had before the flowering, but I hope that it will come back in some form later on.

blablamesh I didn't like the speed at which the flowers were produced. I think 4,5 liters of soil is after all too little to get the result I was hoping for organically. So this week I started giving some canna terra flores. I started with 0,7 EC and gradually increased it to now 1,3. For now it seems the plant is taking it very well. Today I'll be doing some defoliation because it's getting kinda crowded in the middle of the plant.

blablamesh The buds start getting thicker and thicker. Currently I feed the plant with 1.5 EC. This trichomes are mostly clear and starting to get cloudy. Here and there are some amber one's, but they look tiny and old, not sure what happend there. As of now I am planning to give the nutrient solution for at least a couple of days, but I also want to make sure there is one week where I can only give water to maybe get some more colours out of the plant (I really hoped for it to be purple?).

blablamesh The grow is heading towards the end. This week I was feeding with 1.1 EC and yesterday I started giving only pH regulated water. I am not sure whether it is too soon, but we will see. I am planning to harvest next wednesday, if the trichomes are there. I've already vaporised some of the sugar leaves (without drying) and it tastes really amazing, the terpenes are very fruity. There is also some purple coming in this week. I actually might get my wish of purple weed fulfilled in the end:)

blablamesh End of last week I harvested one of the buds to check out the results when the trichomes are milky and clear. As it was just one bud, I dried it in a dryfermbag. It took exactly one week to dry, because the air in the room was at around 49%. In the meanwhile the rest of the plant is during dark. There is not that much purple, it's just darkness:) The rest of the trichomes is still not ready, I probably should have given the nutrients for one more week. But it is what it is. I'll wait a few days and will be doing a partial cut of the bigger buds. For the rest of the plant I will be waiting till the trichomes are turning mostly amber, just to see which type of effect the different stages of the buds will have. Last picture is the first dried bud:)
blablamesh It's chop chop week everybody. I really liked the effect of the one bud I harvested and dried a week ago so I decided to harvest the majority of the plant. In the end the buds developed a nice darkish colour and were smelling amazing. I made some photos with and without flash so you can see the real colours and trichome production. I am drying everything in dryferm bags because it's super hot right now and I can't achieve perfect conditions. So I am only worrying about the humidity and not the temperature. I left some lover buds on the plant to see what happens when they mature completely, but I am not sure I will be posting updates on this. I haven't weighed the dried buds yet, because they are not dry yet hehe, but I would be very surprised if it is going to be more than 50g. Definitely not a record breaking harvest, but if I consider how I completely fucked up the veg because of the 4.5l organic grow, it's still fine. I will post an update, when everything is dry and trimmed:)
Edit: added dried bud pictures. Total dry weight is at 38g + some trim. The rest of the plant is still ripening so total total will be closer to 45g.
The buds look incredibly resinous, dense and packed with detail. Definitely one of those plants that immediately catches your eye. Great work bringing her this far, she looks fantastic ๐
@blablamesh, Hahaha, thank you brother โค๏ธ
But to be fair, those buds made the comment easy to write ๐๐ฅ Keep up the amazing work and keep sharing your progress with us ๐
