Water with 4ml of calmag when planted 7 days ago. Ph level 6.4
Each plant took 1 gallon of water twice in a week. Second watering consisted of .625 tsp of floragro, florabloom, and floramicro. Only 3 have popped through so far hoping the other two will soon.
First time grower, I'm thinking I probably should have waited to add nutrients until after week one but I'm here to learn. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I'm starting to see my upper leaves turning a bit yellow in spots. I think I may be over watering. I've added 1 gallon water to 3 gallon pot leaves looked to droop a bit.
Hello and welcome.
Your seedlings look good. What I have read and practised is that seeds have their own survival kit inbuilt and keeps them going for a couple of weeks. I am a newbie too.
I wish you much success with your 1st grow.

Honestly your plant looks amazing sometimes it’s time we are fighting in this adventure we are on you just got to sit back especially come to harvest don’t chop to early I’ve made the mistake.
Hi @Jrlea11! My guess is that you flooded the roots with water. Overwatering is a common mistake with small plants in big containers. As a result, plant cannot drink all of the water and roots are suffocating, they can’t get oxygen anymore. Roots need to be on a wet/dry cycle to properly spread, searching for water. Each cycle should be pretty quick (24~36h) so you should always water with 15-20% of the container’s capacity. Never water with more than 25% of you container’s volume. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊
A certain volume of soil usually holds 25% to 33% of its volume in water, so 3 gallon of soil (or coco in this case) easily holds 1 gallon of water. But since the pot is too big for the stage your seedling is in, it is too much water. At this point 1 cup of water is more than enough to last several days. Let the media dry a bit, it might take a couple of weeks.
