Madara (G Cut)

MOBettaBudz Got roots on 3 clones in 15 days. Since I only plan to flower 2 of em, I decided to cull the others. 2 days after 1st roots, I placed em in Solos and it’s now 7 days later. They look good and healthy with new growth coming in now that the root zone is established. Will probably up-pot to 1 gals within the week from now

MOBettaBudz I transplanted them into 1 gals 10 days ago and topped em when I did. Probably should’ve waited til we had a little more growth but they bounced back just fine. Also being a little late to up-pot didn’t help. The girls in the front and the back right are the ones I’m flowering out, the other will be the new Mother. I started bending her down a little with some finger LST to get some light to the lower growth to reach the top a lil bit. Thinking I’ll transplant to final pots in 2 weeks then flip a week after that

MOBettaBudz So most of the last week I had some high RH in the tent around 70% and while the Minx, that is sharing the tent with these girls at the moment, were thriving still, the Madara was not. The high RH led to slowed growth, poor nutrient uptake, leaf drooping, oversized fan leaves that end up blocking light and overall looking frumpy. I have since corrected the issue and I can tell they are getting better day by day over the last few days with new growth coming in quickly now. Also thinking they are ready for a new home and tent all to themselves. As I’ve been told, this cut doesn’t want to really stretch upwards in veg, more like tight stacking of nodes while staying short. So the plan is to transplant into 5 gals in a few days with the next watering, put em under a trellis to spread em out and veg em for 1-1.5 more weeks then flip (2 weeks from today at the latest).

MOBettaBudz After being transplanted into 5 gal pots 4 days ago, we’re already starting to bounce back. Ultimately they just needed more space to roam. Will give 6 more days to recover and VEG then they’ll be flipped to bloom. Lowered the ppfd to 400 to get them to stretch up a little more but also doing some finger bending to bush them out a little more. Temp 83°F, RH% 60

MOBettaBudz We are all the way back healthy. Look at the green! Only took a week. After 3 attempts and a crash out, I have added a trellis net (best one I’ve done so far) and started spreading these plants out. Not looking to fill the tent but I would like to have each top and branch in their own square. I will be flipping in 3 or so days.

MOBettaBudz Day 7 W2F Finally got to my W2F defoliation. So happy the air flow will move better through the plants, I know they’ll love it. I would’ve done it sooner in the week but I wanted to wait til the next feed, which was yesterday. Bud sites really started to show a couple days ago. One more defoliation in W4F then we’re in cruise control. Temps 82°F, RH 55%, light around 650 ppfd (which is a little low but slowly increasing)

MOBettaBudz Day 7 W3F I believe we are done stretching. Haven’t grown upwards in the last couple days so I will be lowering the light to 12-14” up and boosting the ppfd to about 750 (currently at 700) and see how they like it. Bud sites steady growing and developing some frost on the sugar leaves and some on the fan leaves already. No scents yet but I can’t wait to see how the flowers turn out.
