Tagsüber ging es meist nur knapp über 10 Grad, dazu viele Wolken und ab und zu Regen. Ich habe insgesamt eher sparsam gegossen und bin mir noch nicht ganz sicher, ob das am Ende zu wenig war. Die Pflanze ist kaum gewachsen. Ein Teil davon liegt vermutlich an der Sorte, sie blieb beim letzten Run auch eher kompakt. Dazu kamen die kühlen, grauen Tage, da konnte sie noch nicht richtig Fahrt aufnehmen. Für nächste Woche ist besseres Wetter angesagt, deshalb habe ich jetzt einmal etwas mehr gegossen, damit die Erde wieder gut aktiviert ist. 📝 EN This week’s weather wasn’t great. Daytime temperatures were mostly just above 10°C, with lots of clouds and occasional rain. I watered fairly lightly overall, and I’m still not completely sure whether it ended up being too little. Growth was minimal. Part of that is probably the genetics, this strain stayed on the smaller side in my last run as well. But the cool, overcast days likely slowed everything down, so she hasn’t really picked up momentum yet. Viel Wachstum gab es trotzdem noch nicht. Sie hat nur leicht an Höhe und Blattmasse zugelegt. Im Vergleich zu meiner letzten Epsilon F1 ist sie damit noch deutlich kleiner, was vermutlich auch daran liegt, dass sie zeitweise etwas zu trocken stand. Beim nächsten Run werde ich den Topf von Anfang an besser durchfeuchten und gleichmäßiger gießen. Mit stabilerem Wetter sollte sie dann auch besser in Fahrt kommen. 📝 EN After a stretch of grey and cloudy weather, this week finally brought a bit more sunshine. There still wasn’t a lot of growth though. She only gained a little height and leaf mass. Compared to my last Epsilon F1 she’s still noticeably smaller, likely because she was a bit too dry at times. For the next run I’ll make sure to properly saturate the pot from the start and keep watering more evenly. Wachstum lag bei 0,5 cm, also kaum der Rede wert. Durch die neuen Blätter sieht man immerhin, dass sich etwas tut. Insgesamt wirkt sie bisher eher unspektakulär. Sie wirkte etwas blass, deshalb habe ich mit 20 Prozent Nährlösung gestartet. 📝 EN A cold, dry and mostly cloudy week. Growth was 0.5 cm, so barely noticeable. At least the new leaves show that something is happening. Overall she still looks pretty underwhelming so far. Gegossen habe ich natürlich trotzdem regelmäßig, und in den letzten zwei Wochen konnte sie einige richtig schöne Tage auf dem Balkon genießen. Langsam wird sie auch etwas größer, und ich bin gespannt, wie sie sich jetzt weiterentwickelt. Vielleicht beginnt sie wegen der langen Seedling-Phase mit wenig Licht auf meinem Balkon einfach später mit der Blüte. Es kann aber genauso sein, dass sie eher klein bleibt und trotzdem bald ihrem festen Zeitplan als Automatic folgt. Im Moment lässt sich das einfach noch nicht sagen. Jetzt heißt es erstmal weiter beobachten und schauen, wie sie sich in den nächsten Tagen entwickelt. 📝 EN I skipped the last week’s journal entry because I simply didn’t have the time. Of course I still kept watering her regularly, and over the last two weeks she got to enjoy some really nice days on the balcony. She’s also slowly getting a bit bigger now, and I’m curious to see how she develops from here. But it could just as well be that she stays rather small and still follows the fixed schedule typical of an automatic. At this point, it’s simply too early to tell. Bis auf ein paar etwas bewölkte Phasen und kurzen Regen konnte sie die Sonne richtig genießen. Entsprechend hat sie auch schon deutlich an Höhe zugelegt. Ich bin gespannt, wann bei ihr die Blüte einsetzt. Fast noch interessanter finde ich aber, ob sich bei dieser Sorte wirklich durch alle Pflanzen zeigt, dass sie kaum Geruch entwickelt. In dieser Zeit hat sie fast ihre Größe verdoppelt und entwickelt sich insgesamt sehr ordentlich. Ich habe außerdem einmal Neemöl verwendet, um vorbeugend etwas zu tun. Im Vergleich zu meinem Run im letzten Sommer scheint diese Pflanze etwa zwei Wochen hinterher zu sein. Dort waren in Woche 6 bereits die ersten Blüten zu sehen, während diese hier insgesamt auch deutlich kleiner geblieben ist. Trotzdem läuft bisher alles gut. Gerade auf dem Balkon zeigt sich für mich, dass der 15-Liter-Topf deutlich besser geeignet ist, weil mehr Substratmasse die Wurzeln besser vor Hitze schützt und das Austrocknen langsamer verläuft. 📝 EN The weather was very good this week, and she was able to make the most of the sun. Vor allem freut mich, dass sie am Ende gar nicht so klein geblieben ist, wie es zwischendurch einmal aussah. Aktuell wirkt alles ziemlich vielversprechend. Wenn sie jetzt sauber weiterblüht, könnte sich der Ertrag am Ende doch noch richtig lohnen. Ich werde daher bald mit dem Booster anfangen, damit sie in dieser Phase gut unterstützt wird. Leider waren die letzten Tage nicht besonders sonnig, und auch die nächsten Tage sehen eher durchwachsen aus. Gerade in dieser Phase zählt jeder helle Moment, auch wenn die Sonne sich aktuell kaum zeigt. Bisher wachsen die Pflanzen wirklich erstaunlich identisch. Abgesehen von der Höhe, die durch die unterschiedliche Menge an Sonne entsteht, sehen sie sich fast komplett gleich. Das ist spannend zu beobachten und zeigt, wie ähnlich sie sich entwickeln. Mittlerweile gibt sie auch einen leichten Geruch ab, bisher aber eher frisch und pflanzlich. Ich behalte das im Auge, damit es für die Nachbarn nicht störend wird. Leider waren die letzten fünf Tage eher grau, und auch die nächsten 7 bis 14 Tage könnten wettertechnisch nicht viel besser werden. Das ist natürlich schade, weil ihr nur noch wenige Wochen bleiben, bis sie reif ist. 📝 EN I move the plant outside whenever it is not raining, so she can get as much light as possible despite the grey weather. At this stage, every brighter moment counts, even if the sun barely shows itself right now. So far, the plants are growing surprisingly identical. Apart from the height difference caused by the different amount of sunlight, they look almost exactly the same. It is really interesting to watch and shows how similarly they are developing. She has also started to give off a slight smell by now, but so far it is more fresh and plant-like. I will keep an eye on it to make sure it does not become annoying for the neighbors. Unfortunately, the last five days have been rather grey, and the next 7 to 14 days may not be much better weather-wise. Am Wochenende soll es zwar etwas schlechter werden, aber insgesamt kam diese bessere Phase genau richtig. Fertig ist sie noch nicht. Jetzt bleibt spannend, wie lange sie noch braucht und wie viel sie bis dahin noch aufbaut. Ich hoffe wirklich, dass sie am Ende noch gut zulegt und das Ganze kein Reinfall wird. Ihr Geruch ist inzwischen richtig interessant. Wenn etwas Wind geht, riecht man leichte Noten von Lavendel und Blaubeeren. Trotzdem bleibt sie dabei sehr unauffällig, weil der Geruch nicht intensiv und überhaupt nicht störend ist. 📝 EN The weather over the last few days has been really good, and she was finally able to soak up plenty of sun again. Hoffentlich wird es ab nächster Woche wieder sonniger, damit sie die restliche Zeit noch gut nutzen kann. Trotzdem hat sie sich weiter gut entwickelt und ist noch nicht erntereif. Das gibt ihr hoffentlich noch etwas Zeit, um weiter Gewicht aufzubauen und die Blüten noch voller werden zu lassen. Insgesamt läuft alles wirklich gut. Sie ist fast nicht zu riechen, selbst wenn man direkt neben ihr steht. Erst an den Trichomen kommt dieser schöne Blaubeer-Geruch durch, genau wie beim letzten Mal. 📝 EN There have been several grey days again, and the next few days also look rather mixed.
