GrowingNerd Germination and Planting
On March 13th, placed in a cosmetic pad to germinate. Watered with distilled water at 24°.
On March 14th, successfully germinated. The germ length was about 1 cm. Planting and hatching, here we go!
March 14th: Since the seedling started so rapidly, it was planted the same day, just before midnight.
March 15th, around 8:00 AM: After not even 8 hours, it was already visible. The temperature in the tent this morning was 24–26°. The humidity was a bit too high at 85%. Adjusted to 70%. The substrate was watered the day before with pH 5.8 and about 5 liters.
March 16th
Filled up the soil and watered for the first time with RK-Fertilizer Start (about 2 liters). pH was 6.7 after mixing. I should keep the pH value out of my mind this time, as the fertilizer works without adjustment. I'm curious but skeptical since the Berlin water is very hard. I might change my mind. Temperature and humidity are stable at night and during the day at 24–26° with a relative humidity of 65–70%.
March 20th
What can I say? Temperature: 24–26° rHF: 60–70% Daily moistening of the soil.
March 22nd
Gained a good bit. Watered again today with 2 liters. (Photo: Final state before watering) pH 6.0 and an EC of 0.9. Temperatures and rHF remain very stable at 26° and 60–70% rHF. I will start whispering to the plants in the coming days. A little addendum. I had an accident. Unfortunately, I forgot to turn off the light around 10:00 PM. They were therefore just illuminated continuously.
March 24th
Today around 4:00 AM, sprayed with plant whispering. Spray water set to pH 6.0. I mixed 150 ml with 1.25 g of plant whispering. I’m also trying it on some houseplants to encourage new shoots. It does leave water spots on the leaves, but that shouldn't be too bad. Temperature and rHF remain stable at 26° and 70%. I still see no reason to lower it.

Today there are a few things to do.
Switching to Rk-fertilizer, starting to grow.
Administered 1.5g dissolved in 2L of water.
Snip snip and the head is off. After 12 days, I topped her at the 3rd node.
pH raised to 6.2
EC: 1.6
Temperatures remain stable at 26° during the day and 24° at night.
Water temperature was 20°.
Plant height: 10 cm
Width: 28 cm
Light height: 38 cm 100%.

In the meantime, she has gained a good amount of leaf mass. She took the topping like a champ. Yesterday I sprayed her with Plant Whisper. 1g with 250ml of pH 6 adjusted water.
Temperatures remain stable at 26° during the day and 24° at night.
Plant height: 13 cm
Plant width: 32 cm
Light height: 38 cm 100%.

What a weed. Both PM are still growing at such a rapid pace.
I've now reduced the fertilizer schedule to half: only 0.5 g per liter of RK-Fertilizer Grow.
Today I’m starting the flowering phase. They’ll stay in the small tent for a few more days until they get used to it before they can finally move.
The shoots are growing very steadily and are already suitable for LST early on.
The humidity is now at 60%.
Watering: every 2–3 days 3–3.5 liters.
pH is at 6.2.
Height: 20 cm
Width: 50 cm
Light height: 40 cm

The two Permanent Markers have recovered wonderfully and signaled to me that it’s time for more space and more light.
They are now each under a Viparspectra P600 (100 watts) at 100%.
They seem to be doing quite well.
On 7.4.2026, they finally got to move into the flowering tent: more space and better lighting. The switch to flowering was made.
And bam – did a bit of LST. I think the results are looking good. On the left is the other PM without LST. Just a little fiddling :)
On 9.4.2026, I watered for the first time – with half the dosage of RK-Fertilizer Bloom: 3 L each with 1.5 g.
Watering water: pH 6.2 temp 25° EC: 1.6
RLF: 60%

The LST has started optimally. Since they are very light-hungry, they are now additionally getting a Viparspectra P600 at 100%. Whether the additional light output is well received or not will soon be revealed.
