Firstgrowever Germinated this one in a glass of water with a 1:2 mix of 10-vol hydrogen peroxide and water until she sank, then moved her to damp cotton pads as Dutch Passion recommends. This is my first time growing and I'm amazed by the speed of it all. Fingers crossed! The first week was a bit of a struggle. She got stuck twice trying to sprout. First was a stubborn helmet head, and once the shell was off, the inner membrane was still holding the leaves shut. She stretched a little bit since she was in the dark under the shell for 2 whole days, but she's looking fine now. A little behind schedule, but healthy and ready to grow.

Firstgrowever The first few days for this Auto Skywalker Haze were quite eventful, as you can see in the photos. She emerged with 'helmet head' (stuck seed shell) and a stubborn inner membrane that wouldn't let the cotyledons open. I had to perform delicate surgery to free her. This early battle caused some initial stretching while she was trapped and searching for light. To correct this, I buried the excess stem, a technique that worked perfectly. Despite the stressful beginning, she has recovered with incredible vigor. She is looking very healthy and strong now. The first set of true leaves is already well-developed, and the second set of leaves is already starting to emerge from the center node. Looking forward to seeing how she develops in Week 2!

Firstgrowever I think i misswater her, i think these spots might be pH problems and the light was too close, took it away to 200 ppfd (was close to 300). Well, i corrected it and will be watching for more problems. I knew first grower problems exist, but damn, well, at least she is growing :)

Firstgrowever Started LST, kind of afraid of straining her too much as its my first grow. She is healthy for what i can see, hopping to see how she reacts to very small LST

Firstgrowever Well, another week goes by and she keeps growing but looks like she's late compared to other month old flowers i see in this site. Furthermore, I think I'm doing LST wrong as it looks like i just turned the top a little bit.

Firstgrowever Well, fifth week is done and to me she looks just fine. She started pre-flowering, just begun showing its pistils. One thing that kept me on my toes was the yellowing of the first leaves, the first pair just got completelly yellow and the next one is kind of yellowing, some advice ? I'm trying not to stress her too much as it's my first grow and people told me that auto flowers are more sensible to stress. Said that, i'm using a scrog net to kinda separate the "tops".

Firstgrowever Another week another problem, right ? Well, she is kinda recovering from a defficiency due soil salinization (been watering with low runoff, last runoff the pH was 5.15, so i'm ajusting it a little higher than usual) but i'm correcting it and hopping shes allright, she looks like shes getting better as new leaves are bright green and sher growing her tops fine :)

Firstgrowever Well, she's still alive and kicking! My Carolina Soil lost all of its buffer capacity and the pH dropped down to 5.0. She is definitely a survivor, but taking a beating — paying the price with a lot of her leaves yellowing and dying off. The buds are still fattening up, though! Like we would say in portuguese "Life ain't a strawberry" :)

She is looking good! Your LST is fine, bending the top is exactly what you want to do. Try to really keep it down for a few days, re-adjusting everytime she comes up. That way, your side branches are going to get stronger. About her being late: she is a Haze so usually takes a bit longer? No experience with that but that's what I've heard. I also had plants that started flowering late: those always turned out huge!

@TangerineDre4m, Thx, i'll be keeping an eye for her flowering cycle.

Those spots are nothing to worry about, some plants just show them in the youngest leaves. Good luck and enjoy the process!

You’ll get a big stretch during first couple weeks of flowering and she’ll get a lot bushier just going by my grow anyway. Mine doubled in size in the 2 week stretch so I wouldn’t worry. Your training to me looks good

I’ll be keeping an eye on this one as I chose Pineapple Express over this strain as a first time grower. I have epsilon f1 and auto skywalker haze on standby for the next grow

Hi, nice plant. What is MKP?
Firstgrowever
Firstgrowever commented13d ago
@Prock666, Monopotassium Phosphate, so it's easyer to balance nitrogen in the flowering stage, as it mantain it's need for K and needs less N.

She looks healthy man, great spread. If you keep her happy, she is gonna reward you with a good yield.
