ElCapitol Coming along nicely. Fat leaves make me think this may be shorter and more indica leaning than anticipated. Lovely pink veins on most, very uniform growth. All seems happy so far. Weak canna Vega solution, probably don't need it as the start compost is quite hot. I won't really start feeding until week three unless they tell me they need something.

ElCapitol It's clear there's two distinct phenotypes. The broader leaf type has absolutely insane explosive growth, I don't think I've ever seen a plant so vigorous with so little effort put in. The slightly smaller pheno is much more usual growth pattern and size for this stage. From next week I'll double the feed, they're only on the bare minimum. Very happy so far. Pheno split is pretty even so even in a three pack you're likely to get both.

ElCapitol Fitted the grow room with a hose this time round and the access to easy water has led to serious over watering. I've realised now and cut watering right back and increased temps to 25c and lowered humidity. They're curling down and yellowing, classic over watering signs. Kicking myself I didn't catch it sooner. I'm going to foliar feed a very weak mix just to get some N into them as the roots aren't taking it in. Little worried about pythium but no signs yet.... The plants less effected by too much water are racing ahead, each leaf set has an extra set of leaves which is always a good sign. I've also reset lights to 18/6 to give them a little more rest at night to recover from my stupidity. Plants are keeping low and squat. Feed is almost zero due to letting the footballs dry out thoroughly.

ElCapitol Starting to recover from my overwatering, still a little yellow. Going to introduce some calmag and N via foliar feed this week. They've all started to put a little height on now and they've got a nice hashy smell coming on. Will test the soil PH once my new meter arrives too.

ElCapitol Had a Canna calmag drench along with a weak dose of canna terra vega. Within three days they've shown good recovery, have topped a few now to encourage side growth. Added a little triacontanol too. Upped the room temp to help dry the pots out. I'm annoyed with myself a little on this grow, got too slack and forgot the basics and it's bitten me on the ass hasn't it.
