Camrude Mixed some mychorizzae in the top of the coco, then did a small hole, sprinkled some more mychorizzae in the hole and planted the seed directly in the pot, under my grow light set at 60% at ~65cm. It came out ~36h later. Just keeping the top layer moist with a spray bottle and tap water at 5.8 pH.

Camrude 02/04/2026: Just letting her go with 2/3 small feedings a day of 300ppm seedling nutrient solution and an airdome to keep humidity higher around her. 05/04/2026: Last pic before leaving for a week. Gave a bigger watering and then activated autopot 12 hours later. Autopot filled with 4,5L + 9L with the same solution. I'll monitor how much she drinks.

Camrude When I came back after one week I found the plant doing pretty good. There were some yellow spots on one of the biggest and older fan leaves but they don't bother me much. I just cleaned it up a bit by removing just a couple of the lower leaves that were touching the soil, and since she is extremely bushy and has large fan leaves I tried to expose some nodes by tucking and bending a bit. I don't want to be too aggressive at this stage in this grow because I want to try something different from my previous grows were I would start some pretty aggressive LST at this point, if not earlier, with also some more invasive defoliation. This time I want to limit LST to when it's really needed and get away as much as possible with leaf tucking, and defoliate the bare minimum. I'm also adjusting the nutrient ratio. This is my third grow using Terra Aquatica Dual Part Coco line and following the chart ratio I always get very dark leaves and other signs of N tox that keep showing until harvest. My last grow I tried to be a bit less aggressive with my feeding and had the same problem anyway. This time I was already considering to increment the amount of bloom nutrients early on to balance out the N intake, but definitely I wasn't thinking to do it this early on, but the plant is already very dark, so for the autopot reservoir refill after I came back I switched to a bloom dominant ratio.

Camrude Just bent the main stem a bit, opened the canopy and tucked some leaves. Also selectively removing bigger, older and damaged fan leaves that touch the soil or make too much shadow through the week, just before preflowering.

Camrude Preflower and stretch started. Tried using a scrog net to train. Not sure I love it. Maybe my net is too big but I cant always find a good spot to tuck my stems under, and often it would rub on a node and I don't like that. Let me know if you have any advice on the topic. I ended up removing it after a couple of days, just going in there sometimes and opening the canopy by hand and tying the tallest branches down with some gardening ties to keep an even canopy. I've plucked a couple leaves a couple times, only when I found It necessary but keeping it very minimal. Don't want to stress her during stretch. I was very aggressive with training and defoliation in my last grow and I want to try the opposite this time. Also first time using under canopy lights, which I turned on this week.

Camrude Letting her go untouched through stretch. She was looking a bit pale so I increased ppm and also started adding 0.2g/L of Epsom salts to increase magnesium and sulfur. She's drinking almost 3L a day.

Camrude Letting her go. She's been constantly praying for a week or so. At first I tought It was light stress so I switched to 20/4, but that didn't change much, so I dimmed the light down ~20%, and that also did not reduced praying, so I guess she's just happy. I'll dim the light back up later on. This week I will do a autopot reservoir dump and clean up. I learned I probably should have done that already and more often through the grow, and that might be what caused some slight nutrient imbalances that I was trying to fix. Might also remove a couple leaves here and there but nothing major.

Camrude I did a complete system cleanup. There was so much build up that I was getting way higher ppm with basically the same amount of nutrients. Will monitor how she's gonna react the next days. Kept ppm a bit lower to let her adapt. Defoliated the most damaged leaves. Edit: looks like she stabilized and she's starting to fatten up nicely. Strong comeback.

Camrude I'll harvest in a week for personal reasons even if she could probably go on a couple more days, so I switched to water only for this last week. She's looking great and smells amazing. I wonder if she was starting to foxtail a bit but I also reduced light hours to 20/4 and reduced light intensity to 80% so I don't think she'll have issues.

Camrude Harvested the tops the 3rd of june and the rest the 6th and 7th. Drying in a wine cooler in paper bags. The goal is to make the drying as long as possible because I'll be leaving for a month. It's a pretty delicate situation so I hope I don't fuck it up.

I’ve heard great things about this breeder. Looks promising!

@Antarctic, me too, and this is my first Mephisto run so I'm looking forward to see if the hype is real. Also first run with autopots. So far so good.

Hey, the growth speed Is mesmerising. any tips on rocketing it like this in first 2 weeks?

Camrude commented1mo ago
@majklsoft, The growth on this run was honestly insane. The biggest takeaway I got from this grow is that LESS IS MORE, especially when it comes to training. In my previous grows I was a lot more hands-on, but this time I barely touched her early on. I let her grow completely untouched for the first ~20 days, then only bent the main stem once to break apical dominance. After that, she basically did everything on her own and turned into a full bush without needing more training. You can notice that already in the 2 pics from week 3. In the first one I just bent the main stem, and in the second she was already starting to bushing out. Then stretch started and she just exploded and tripled in size, and it's not even completely done yet. I think that made a huge difference because growth never really slowed down from stress. Aside from that, I’d say the fundamentals still matter a lot: environment, light, and genetics first, then feeding. Everything needs to be in balance. Remember: more light = plant eats more. And VPD (relation between temp and humidity) affect how the plant absorb nutrients, so that also defines how much nutrients the plant can handle. So it's really a balance between all those elements. I also switched to AutoPots for this run, and I don’t think I’ll go back. It takes away a lot of the workload and guesswork since the plant can regulate her own water intake. You still need to dial in nutrient strength, but it’s much simpler compared to hand-feeding multiple times a day. On nutrients, I kept things pretty light early on and only increased feeding around mid-stretch when she actually started looking a bit hungry. That approach worked really well, but honestly, I think the biggest difference came from just not overhandling the plant early on. She ended up bigger and about a week ahead compared to my previous grows. Let me know if you have more questions. I'm far from an experienced grower but always happy to share experiences.🌿🌿
the end.
