Automatics_Gourmets For some inexplicable reason, the Tropic Lady has developed a ‘mild’ magnesium deficiency. It’s annoying, but at least it looks lovely... It seems I took action in time, as it’s still growing well and the symptoms haven’t got any worse.

Automatics_Gourmets The change of side after cleaning the tent didn’t bother the tropical lady, and apart from a few leaves, there’s no sign left of the problems of the past few weeks. The sweet aroma grows stronger by the day and has so many facets that it’s hard to describe. If you hold your nose too close to the flower just once, the scent lingers in your nose for a few hours 😅

The TCXA has shown steady growth and has remained unfazed by 2–3 sudden drops in temperature and a magnesium deficiency. It produces dense, resinous buds and develops an extremely complex aroma. Alongside the dominant cherry notes and tropical, fruity undertones, a subtle diesel aroma also stands out. The smoke has an extremely fruity flavour and leaves a sweet, candy-like taste in the mouth. The mood-lifting effect sets in quickly and pleasantly, and I found myself getting the munchies time and again. As this strain doesn’t make you feel tired, it’s perfect for a bit of cheer during the day.

Automatics_Gourmets The last few days have been fairly “uneventful”; the plant was simply given a little water, followed by the daily trichome check. The Mainbud was hung up to dry three days before the actual harvest, so the lamp was lowered slightly to ensure the remaining buds had a few more days of “extra” light. Results and smoke report to follow.
