MaryJaneJo Here we go again — two seeds, 48 hours in water, then a jump into coco… and wait.

MaryJaneJo Ah, they are up! What a joy! I thought one seed would not make it __ it was tangled within itself __but look at them now: two sisters.
It is hard not to notice that one is not straight, more on the invalid side, but we will see what happens...

MaryJaneJo Two sisters are rolling strong into Week 2. One is visibly shorter, but not necessarily weaker. Interesting watching them grow.

MaryJaneJo It was not a boring week in my growSpace. It started with a surprise: the lame seedling (called D) turned out to be the stronger one & the stronger one became weaker. To add to that, I accidentally watered them with bloom feed once(!!!). I flushed it as soon as I noticed. For some reason Plant D is in much better shape than her sister. She looks like a wet cat.
Meanwhile, the pH meter is on its last leg, so a replacement has been ordered (delivery next week). Until then I am running on ancient technology__ universal pH papers. What a struggle.
Note to self__do not run two units of the same strain. The constant comparison is psychological warfare.
May your watering can always be clearly marked.👽

MaryJaneJo The beauty and the other plant __grow report. I must exclude the hideous plant from reporting for my own peace of mind. She is in some sort of shutdown mode. I am not going to fight her. I did what I could.
Plant D is doing good. Grow feed taken three times a day. I spread her in the morning & she responds well to it.

MaryJaneJo Apple Strudel went into flower early last week & has already doubled in size. She drinks her feeds like there is no tomorrow & is slowly taking over the grow space. She takes no prisoners.
See you next watering.👽

MaryJaneJo This plant is a monster. The logistics of getting her in and out are already complicated. She is on full bloom feed, & at this rate the growth curve is basically exponential__so I am starting to visualise the endgame: enormous buds, heavy and sticky.
***Midweek update: co-housing two plants has become impossible, so I fashioned this setup (last picture). Both units can breathe now.***

MaryJaneJo Apple Strudel week summary can be closed in one sentence__she loves to be fed.
I have her drip set to run every 8h, but when I am around I always give her a few extra minutes. It makes her happy. My human form is too small to deal with __this magnificent monster of a plant__ getting her in and out of the wardrobe gets harder every time. So I do all maintenance ASAP to avoid unnecessary mishaps: topped her up with coco coir, cleaned the pipe, sorted the fans & calibrated & cleaned the pH meter.
The second plant is parked under the drying space, under the far-red Sylvania lamp. It is only a temporary solution __when the arctic weather eases, she goes outside.
Peace.👽
P_S_ I just watched an Al Jazeera full programme on UFOs. They got so many things right. Scary.

MaryJaneJo Week ran quiet__just feed cycles, plant rotation, & sporadic defoliation. Humidity held at 50%. Biomass is creeping up, gram by gram. Also__first specimen in ages with zero pink stem discolouration. Curious...
New AC Infinity pH meter has me feeling spiritually aligned. Sometimes I actually get tears in my eyes when I land a perfect 5.80.
I am getting more human day by day.👽

MaryJaneJo On the contrary, last week was problematic. It started with a reading of 3.22 mS (my input was 1.4 mS), which gave me a little kick. I flushed with pH 5.8 water for three waterings (until the reading was 0.9 mS) and then continued with FinalPart.
Because the buds are collapsing under their own weight, I had to install support, so rotating the plant is impossible now. I have two additional fans running to protect from bud rot & humidity is at 50%. She looks like her time is nearing the end.
Growers, eyes on the trichomes 👽
She lived a life of her own, totally disconnected from the outside world. From the early days she was genuinely hungry, and I fed her. During the heatwave I had the Dyson cooling her gently, & when the buds got too heavy to carry, I built her a custom support. All of that in 66 days.
Thanks for watching this space. Peace.
