Just picked up my seeds off my buddy. He had them under a light for 6 weeks and their looking great. Moved them outside and they didn’t seem to be too shocked from the adjustment. Getting about 7 hours of direct sun then some indirect sun but mostly shade after that. Gonna top, prune, and move to bigger pots soon

White dots on a couple leaves? From what I read I’m thinking pests? Can’t see anything though. Feeding daily with half the recommended dose. Switched to 15 gl pot in coco. Topped and pruned. 7 hours direct sun and then mostly shade.

Looks like little burns to me. Could be from tap water or fertilizers? Not a big deal though. Outdoor plants are exposed to a lot so leaves get chewed up and damaged sometimes. I notice your leaves are getting a little yellow in between the veins. If you are not overwatering and your pH is good then this is a definitely sign of magnesium deficiency. A little Epsom salt or calmag would clear it up pretty quick. Good luck on the rest of your grow

Pruned a bit and tried LST training the branches to spread them out a bit. My goal wasn’t to restrict vertical growth as it’s discreet and perfectly legal here in Canada 😊. But wanted to spread out the branches to get more sun exposure. Accidentally bent the amnesia stem but it looks fine and so I guess that one is super cropped now. Curious anyone’s thoughts on my LST and what can be done to make it better? Plan on doing more but ran out of supplies today. This week been feeding daily (coco) did straight water one day but think I will just stick to feeding every day from now on.

Nothing to worry about, which is a good thing. Your are growing outdoor and the change in weather condition can play with the color of your leave, i.e. temperature, day and night and the amount of direct sun exposure. Your plant looks just fine 👌

Been feeding daily but the small CBD plant is showing signs of nitrogen deficiency. Gonna start feeding it twice a day. Pruned a bit today and tied down a couple more branches to spread out the light. It’s been a cloudier week unfortunately but sunshine on its way 🌞. Topped the CBD plant for the first time

I topped the 3 big plants in multiple places each today. Basically every large and developed branch. Noticed little drops of water sprout out right after I cut which I’m assuming is a good sign. Been slowly increasing the amount of ferts I add and they seem content. Can’t see any signs of over feeding? One leaf (pictured) looked burnt or something but that was the only one I saw like that. Because I topped so much today, I’m thinking I won’t top again and just let these new tops get huge. I have about 7 weeks before I possibly force flower. Still tying and moving branches around to spread out the light.

Amnesia almost looks like it’s starting to show signs of flowering? Weather has been cloudy so I wonder if that’s causing that. Hopefully it will revert back to veg. Definitely notice the smell has gotten stronger all of a sudden. Went away for a few days so I didn’t feed or water them for 3 days straight. Was expecting rain all weekend so wasn’t too worried but it must’ve been pretty dry. The coco was bone dry and a couple leaves showed signs of deficiencies. Other than that there didn’t look to be serious damage. Fed and watered thoroughly today and am hoping they bounce back quick.

Any advice for growing with coco outdoors in the rain? Wet week ahead. I’m wondering if I should increase my feeding from once to twice a day to prevent the coco being flushed too much? Or if I should have a stronger nute mix when feeding in rain?

If you have a shelter which is open to the outdoor that's ideal when heavy rain is expected. That's one option to avoid overwatering and losing the nutritional values you gave your plant. Other option is to cover your pots with garbage bags or whatever you have on hands and you'll get little to no rain in your soil. You can collect the rain water in the meantime to give to your plants later on.

Switched the nutrients this week to GH. Buddy recommended it so I’ll try it out. Looks like the plants are loving it so far. Weather is supposed to be nice and sunny for awhile now. Hoping to get some decent last Veg growth before I force flower in early Aug. I’d do sooner but will be out of town a few days this month.

Looks like I got a bit of Nute burn on a few leaves after switching to GH and starting at half of recommended dosage. Now I’m at 1/4 strength. Other than that the plants seem to like it. Moved the plants off my roof to the side of our house to protect from some wind damage they were getting. I slipped and fell while carrying the shark Shock and fucked up one branch lol. Hope it recovers.

I’m becoming convinced that amnesia is in flower. She has tons of white pistils and is super sensitive to nitrogen all of a sudden. So I’m gonna start feeding her bloom nutes this week. Went away for a few days which also happened to be 30+ Celsius. Came back today and the girls were thirsty. Both Shark Shock and OG were drooping but perked right up after a watering. I think I’m gonna bail on the forcing flower idea. I feel like I’d end up doing more damage than good.

Having some nutrient issues. A few leaves are yellow with brown tips (first couple pics). I also had some nute burn a couple weeks ago after switching to GH so I lowered my feedings. Now I’m confused if it’s an excess or deficiency or something else? Any help much appreciated

Are you adjusting your ph? Looks like your ph may be out of range. You want to keep it close to 6 or the plant cant absorb any nutrients. And you should be feeding about 4 ml/ gallon if micro 1ml/gallon of grow and at least 4ml/ gallon of bloom at this stage. Mix your nutrients then adjust your ph and they should be much happier. I would also recommend feeding some calimagic especially in coco. Hope this gets you headed in the right direction.

Amnesia is covered in white pistils now and fully into flower. So decided to make this week my first “flowering” post. Shark Shock and OG are still in veg and shot up several inches last week. I hope it’s the pre-flower stretch and that they start budding soon too. CBD still plugging along in Veg. I’ve been keeping nitrogen low for all plants because they all had a bit of nute burn after I switched to GH. Amnesia is definitely the most sensitive to nutrients. Been increasing bloom nutrients this week as well but am cautious. Pruned the veg plants today. From what I’ve heard, I shouldn’t prune once in flower? Amnesia is the least bushy of all plants anyways so should be fine.

Finally tested PH of tap water with strips after recommendations. It looks like it came out 5.8? Same after I added nutes too. I read that’s optimal so I am stoked about that! Also means any issues I’ve been having with leaf color is on me fucking up the nutes lol. Pruned a few yellow leaves off OG. Wondering if she’s got a deficiency or if they weren’t getting any light. I’m trying to slowly increase nutes again but am cautious after getting nute burn a couple weeks ago. Any thoughts? Amnesia’s flowers are looking better and better every day. She is my favorite plant to watch progress at this point lol. All others are still in Veg. Hopefully transitioning soon!

Came home from a few days of vacay and the girls still looked pretty healthy. OG had a branch snap while I was away. looks like I tied it down too much. Still seeing a few bugs on the plants but I try to kill what I find. Been spraying the leaves with lavender. Might try neem oil too. There’s a couple spiders on each plant trying to help me out lol. Regardless all plants are developing buds with Amnesia the fattest 🌴✌️

Plants are all focused on budding with Amnesia way ahead. Starting to see darker pistils on Amnesia this week. All plants had a few leaves turn yellow from I’m guessing potassium deficiency. I’m increasing the bloom nutes now as they’re all clearly getting hungrier. Super happy with all strains but especially stoked on how quickly Amnesia started budding and her growth in flower. I gave my buddy my leftover seeds and his Amnesia flowered even earlier than mine. Good strain for Canadian growers looking for an outdoor strain that finishes early before the cold weather. Still battling the bugs a bit but started using Jakes All-In-One spray. It’s a local company and an organic pest control. I’m nervous about spraying while budding but the bugs are relentless. I think they’re coming from nearby bushes as I don’t see any eggs on leaves.

An early post showing only Amnesia as I’m freaking out about the bud rot. I’m thinking I should start flushing immediately and chop in a few days to avoid any further damage? Forecast calls for nothing but rain this upcoming week so I think She’ll be fucked if I don’t Based on the pics, is she looking somewhat close enough to harvest?

Tough week as about 3/4 of Amnesia got eaten by bud rot. She had some beautiful big buds that got destroyed by our rainy weather here in B.C. Regardless, I chopped her yesterday and should still get a few ounces of decent bud which is all I need anyways. I think she had enough time but may be slightly early due to the rush to salvage something. The other girls are progressing through flower as well. I’ve noticed a couple of bud rot spots but cut them out immediately and sprayed with milk and baking soda. I’ve read that the change in PH should fend off bud rot, so we will see. If things get worse I’ll have to chop them early as well. Fuck the rain lol. I guess that’s what we get for living in a beautiful rain forest 🤷‍♂️

Finally getting some sunshine and clear skies to keep the buds dry for a bit. Each plant is getting a bit of bud rot but not nearly as bad as Amnesia had it. Cutting anything I see and spraying with baking soda and water to keep it under control. I’m thinking of chopping OG next weekend as she’s getting the worst of the bud rot. Every day she loses a few grams. It’s supposed to start raining again this week and I don’t wanna watch another plant get destroyed by rot. I know it’ll be a bit early but at this point I’d rather salvage as much as I can. The other plants should be able to handle the rain a bit better so I’ll give em a few more days before chopping. They’re getting hungrier and hungrier so I’m trying to keep up. Love watching the buds get thicker each day. 🌴✌️

No u can actually just do a proper dry and cure to get pleasant smoke. Here’s what drying and curing cannabis will do for you… Dramatically improves taste of buds after harvest Gets rid of the unpleasant “fresh hay” or “cut grass” smell which is common on newly harvested buds Brings out the subtle flavors and unique smell of your cannabis strain Reduces “harshness” in buds; you’re less likely to start coughing or get a headache Buds that are dried/cured properly are less likely to cause anxiety, racing thoughts, or paranoia Increases storage time; you can store properly dried/cured buds for years and buds will retain a lot of their original potency Reduce the chance of mold growing on your buds Curing increases the perceived “potency” of your buds. Buds actually produce stronger effects

This was heart breaking at the end as she lost about 75% of her bud to rot. I was most excited about this plant as I love Sativa. She was exciting to watch grow as she flowered several weeks before the others. I guess that why she’s called “early” Amnesia. I gave a seed to my friend and his flowered even earlier than mine. The early transition to flower confused my feeding schedule and I ended up getting nutrient burn in early flower from still feeding high nitrogen like the others. Something to keep in mind for next time. Her buds were thick and beautiful. However our weather turned to constant rain and she got eaten up by rot. I initially thought this would be a great strain for Canadians or other cold climate areas due to the early flower and harvest by mid-September. However if you end up having a rainy September you might lose a lot at the end. FYI weight is just an estimation as I didn’t have a scale/ was too upset of how much I lost to even bother. I bet she was on track to get close to a pound but who knows.

OG and CBD got the chop yesterday. Sorry I forgot to take pics of it. I was rushing through it as we had dinner plans and it took way longer than I expected. Was also pretty baked which didn’t help lol. They’re currently drying at buddy’s house so will take pics next week. OG was probably a bit early but I don’t mind an energetic high. She was also battling rot so I wanted to salvage as much as I could. Should get close to a pound from her and maybe a half pound from CBD. Gonna give Shark Shock one more week as she’s a bit behind the others. I’m not worried about rot as she’s been the most resilient. Temps are gonna get to the low single digits so I hope it doesn’t stress her too much. Her leaves are turning purple from the colder weather already.

I was actually least excited for this plant as I typically smoke Sativa. But watching how well she grew and how big her buds got made her my favorite in the end. She was the easiest to take care of, great for a beginner like me. I love how mild and relaxing the high is. Very enjoyable balanced CBD strain that allows to be functional. I tried making RSO with some of the smaller buds but it didn’t turn out great. I’ll use a stronger strain next time I try for oil.
