ButterfliesLittleFarm Hello Diary, New Diaries Have Arrived at My Little Farm 🌱 A new chapter begins on my little farm, and with it, three exciting new strains have taken their place: Apple Fritter Auto, Mexican Rush Auto, and Royal Cheese Auto. This diary, however, will be dedicated to one very special lady — Mexican Rush Auto. But let’s start from the beginning. Why Mexican Rush Auto? My friends at RQS, who have been supporting my journey almost from day one, already know one thing about me — I’m a true sativa lover. So naturally, Mexican Rush immediately caught my attention. A strain with deep roots, history, and character… I simply had to experience it firsthand. About Mexican Rush Auto 🌿 Mexican Rush is to sativa what single malt is to whisky — pure, refined, and deeply rooted in tradition. Originating from a landrace native to Mexico’s Pacific Coast, this legendary genetic has been part of cannabis culture since the 1960s. Grown in the Sierra Madre del Sur mountains near Acapulco, its aromatic and potent buds quickly gained recognition far beyond Mexico during the counterculture movement of the ’60s and ’70s. The team at RQS went on a true genetic hunt, carefully selecting and stabilizing this heritage Mexican sativa in feminized form — making a once rare treasure accessible to growers worldwide. And they didn’t stop there. By crossing Mexican Rush with Royal Haze Auto, they successfully preserved its unique genetics in an autoflowering version — giving us the perfect combination of tradition and convenience. What to Expect? Mexican Rush Auto develops long, airy sativa-style flowers generously coated in shimmering trichomes. After drying and curing, the buds take on a beautiful golden glow — a true visual treat. Its terpene profile is rich and complex: Myrcene Caryophyllene Limonene Together, they create a unique blend of fruity, earthy, sweet, and spicy aromas — a refreshing contrast to the overly candy-sweet profiles of many modern strains. With around 20% THC, the effect is exactly what you’d expect from a classic sativa: Uplifting and cerebral head high Paired with a gentle, soothing body effect Perfect for daytime use, social gatherings, or creative sessions. SETUP ON MY LITTLE FARM 🛠️ Here’s the environment where the magic happens: Grow Box: Secret Jardin DS120W (120×60×178 cm) Lighting: Migro Aray 4 Ventilation: TT Silent-M 100 Filter: PrimaKlima PK 100/125 Soil: BioBizz Light Mix Pots: 11L fabric pots Genetics: Royal Queen Seeds Nutrition: RQS Organic nutrition Let the Diary Begin 📖 31/12/2025 Yes… planting on New Year’s Eve might sound unusual, but sometimes the best things start at unexpected moments. I prepared the BioBizz Light Mix, filled my fabric pots, and enriched the soil with: 10g Easy Boost Organic Nutrition 10g Seaweed Everything was thoroughly mixed, well-watered, and the seeds were carefully placed into their new home. 02/01/2026 Lightly misted the soil surface to maintain moisture — keeping conditions just right for germination. 03/01/2026 Success! 🌱 Mexican Rush and Apple Fritter have both broken through the soil and greeted the world. Royal Cheese is still taking her time — patience is key. 04/01/2026 A photo session 📸 and decided to replant Royal Cheese to give her another chance. For now, I’m waiting for Mexican Rush to develop at least four proper leaves before officially marking the start of the vegetative stage. Stay tuned — the journey is just beginning 🚀🌿

ButterfliesLittleFarm Hello Diary, The first week of the vegetative stage is officially behind us. Mexican Rush is off to a very promising start. Over the past 7 days, she has grown around 3 cm, reaching a total height of 6 cm by the end of week one. A steady and healthy development so far, with no signs of stress. Her roommate, Royal Cheese, is about a week behind, so managing their different growth stages will require a bit of adjustment in the coming weeks—mainly by raising pots and keeping the canopy as even as possible. Overall, Mexican Rush is progressing exactly as expected. She has already started to branch slightly and is clearly entering a phase of more vigorous growth. Given the stable and favorable conditions, there’s no reason to expect anything but continued healthy development. I took photos on day 1 and day 7 of the vegetative phase, so the difference over just one week is clearly visible. Lighting is provided by the Migro Aray 4, currently set to 40% power and positioned about 35 cm above the plants. Since the start of vegetation, I’ve been running an 18/6 light cycle. Environmental conditions in the grow space are stable, with humidity around 60% and temperatures holding steady at approximately 26°C. At this stage, watering is done every 3–4 days, depending on how quickly the medium dries out. Each plant receives around 1 to 1.5 liters of pH-adjusted water per watering. This week, I also introduced a small boost by adding one Easy Grow booster tablet during watering— just enough to give them a gentle push without overdoing it. Here’s a quick breakdown of the past week: 08/01/2026 – Day 1. Start of the vegetative phase documented. Mexican Rush measured at 3 cm. Plants were watered with 1 liter of pH-adjusted water. 11/01/2026 – Day 4. Watering day. Added one Easy Grow booster tablet to the water. 14/01/2026 – Day 7. Photo update and height measurement. Mexican Rush Auto – Day 7. – 6 cm That’s it for this week. Everything is running smoothly so far. See you soon with the next update! 🌱

ButterfliesLittleFarm Hello Diary, The second week of vegetation has come to an end on my little “Farm,” and this time, Mexican Rush is showing some very encouraging progress. She’s developing nicely and has grown just under 10 cm over the past week, currently standing at 14 cm in height. The structure is coming together well — the main stem is strengthening, and new side branches are forming steadily. Internode spacing is still quite tight, which gives the plant a compact and bushy appearance. At this stage, the foliage is dense, and I can already tell that some defoliation will likely be needed toward the end of week three to improve airflow and light penetration. The leaves are a healthy green overall, although I’ve noticed a few with slight spotting or discoloration. For now, it doesn’t seem serious, and I’ll just keep an eye on it moving forward. All things considered, Mexican Rush is progressing very well and looks like a strong, vigorous plant so far. Environmental conditions in the Farm remain stable and within a solid range. Humidity is sitting around 50%, while temperatures are holding steady at about 27°C. No major fluctuations, which is always a good sign. Watering is done every 3–4 days. This week, I introduced CalMag as a preventative measure to avoid any early deficiencies. I’ve also continued using the Easy Grow Booster tablet to support overall development. Weekly overview: 17/01/2026 – Day 10. Watering day. I prepared 6 liters of water for all three plants (2L per plant). Added one Easy Grow Booster tablet along with 6 ml/L of CalMag, then adjusted pH to 6.0. 20/01/2026 – Day 13. Watering again with the same amount — 2 liters per plant. No booster tablet added this time. 21/01/2026 – Day 14. Photo session and height measurement. Mexican Rush Auto – Day 14. - 14 cm That’s all for this week. Looking forward to seeing how she develops further — expectations are definitely positive. See you in the next update! 🌱

ButterfliesLittleFarm Hello Diary, The vegetative stage has officially come to an end, and with the third week behind us, we’re now entering the flowering phase. This is where things start to shift, and the plants begin focusing their energy on bud development. Mexican Rush Auto is looking fantastic at this stage. The structure has developed very nicely, with strong, healthy growth and a rich green leaf color that indicates everything is on track. The lower section of the plant has become quite dense over time, so a light cleanup will soon be necessary to improve airflow and allow better light penetration. Pre-flowers have already started to appear, which you can clearly see in the photos. It’s always a great sign to confirm that the transition into flowering is underway. This week, she stretched an additional 15 cm, showing that characteristic burst of growth as the plant prepares itself for flowering. The structure is becoming more defined, with the main stem establishing dominance and setting the foundation for future bud sites. With this increased growth, her water demand is also rising. I’m gradually increasing the amount of water with each feeding to keep up with her needs. As before, I continue supplementing with CalMag at 1 ml/L as a preventative measure. Weekly Log 23/01/2026 – Day 16. Watering day. Prepared 7 liters of water, added 7 ml of CalMag, and adjusted pH to 6.0. Used this solution to water all three plants on the “Farm.” 27/01/2026 – Day 20. Watering. Repeated the same process as four days earlier. 28/01/2026 – Day 21. Photo session & height measurement. Mexican Rush Auto – Day 21. - Height: 29 cm That’s all for this week. Thanks for stopping by, and see you in the next update 🌱

ButterfliesLittleFarm Hello Diary, The first official week of flowering is now behind us, marking the fourth week since the start of vegetation. This is where things start to get truly exciting, as the plants transition their energy toward bud production. Mexican Rush is looking absolutely fantastic. Over the past week, she stretched around 20 cm and is now standing at 50 cm tall. Along with that growth spurt, she has developed a lot of new foliage and has clearly begun forming her first flowers. From this point on, I’m hoping she will shift most of her energy into building and stacking those buds. Structurally, she has formed a beautiful shape — very symmetrical and balanced, almost like a classic Christmas tree. The branches are nicely spaced and already showing early flower sites, giving the whole plant a very aesthetic, “textbook” look. That said, the lower part of the plant has become quite dense with leaves. Defoliation is definitely due, and in hindsight, it would have been better to do it a bit earlier. Next week I’ll focus on cleaning up the lower canopy to improve airflow and allow better light penetration to the inner and lower bud sites. Still, every time I look at Mexican Rush, it’s genuinely a pleasure. The leaves are a rich, healthy green, and the young flowers emerging across the branches bring a real sense of progress and satisfaction. Watching her develop week by week is something I truly enjoy — there’s a certain connection that builds over time when you follow every stage so closely. As she continues to grow, I’m gradually increasing the watering volume to match her needs, while continuing to add CalMag preventively to support strong and healthy development. Weekly Breakdown: 30/01/2026 – Day 23. Watering day. Prepared 7 liters of water with 7 ml of CalMag, shared between all three plants in the grow. 03/02/2026 – Day 27. Repeated the same watering routine and nutrient ratio as before. 04/02/2026 – Day 28. Photo session and height measurements. Mexican Rush Auto – Day 28. - 50 cm That’s all for this week. Thanks for following along, and see you in the next update. Wishing everyone a great grow and healthy plants! 🌱

ButterfliesLittleFarm Hello Diary, The second week of flowering has come to an end, and Mexican Rush has delivered another remarkable performance— stretching an impressive 33 cm over the past week. It has now taken the lead as the tallest plant on my “little farm.” The growth rate has really kicked in, and while it’s exciting to watch, I’m hoping the stretch will begin to slow down soon. That said, the plant is looking fantastic overall—healthy, vigorous, and full of life. This week, I gave the lower part of the plant a proper cleanup, which immediately improved both its appearance and structure. Mexican Rush is gradually settling into its final form, with a dominant main cola rising clearly above the rest of the canopy, while the side branches are forming a fairly even layer beneath it. There’s still quite a dense leaf mass within the plant, but I’m holding off on any major defoliation for now. Meanwhile, flower development is steadily progressing, and the foliage is maintaining a rich, vibrant green—always a great sign. With flowering now well underway, I’ve continued introducing a bloom booster into the feeding schedule. I’m adding one Easy Bloom Booster tablet per 8 liters of water during each watering. In addition, I’m maintaining preventive CalMag supplementation at 0.5 ml per liter. As the plants continue to grow, I’m gradually increasing the total volume of water to keep up with their needs. This week’s overview: 06/02/2026 – Day 30. Watering day. I prepared 8 liters of water, added one Easy Bloom Booster tablet, followed by 4 ml of CalMag, and finished with Lemon Kick to adjust the pH. This mixture was used to water all three plants on the farm. 09/02/2026 – Day 33. Watering day. Repeated the same feeding routine as before. 11/02/2026 – Day 35. Photo session and plant height measurement. Mexican Rush Auto – Day 35. – 83 cm That wraps it up for this week. Thanks again to everyone stopping by and showing support—it’s always appreciated. ButterfliesLittleFarm Hello Diary, Mexican Rush is now fully settled into the flowering phase. With week three behind her, she’s really starting to show her potential, and I’m very happy with how things are unfolding so far. She has now reached 90 cm, making her the tallest plant in my small setup. Her structure is quite distinctive—the main cola clearly takes the lead, stretching well above the rest of the canopy, while the side branches remain more or less even with each other. The central part of the plant is noticeably bushier, with a thicker leaf mass, so I’ve been lightly defoliating day by day, removing a few leaves that block airflow or light. Flower development is progressing steadily. Buds are still on the smaller side visually, but they already feel firm to the touch and are becoming increasingly sticky, which is always a promising sign at this stage. Now that she’s hit the 90 cm mark, vertical growth has clearly slowed down this week. The stretch seems to be coming to an end, and I expect only minimal height increase from here on. From this point, I’d just like her to stay on track and keep building flowers at this pace. Watering remains consistent—every 3 days on average, occasionally extending to 4 depending on the conditions. I’m still adding CalMag as a preventive measure, along with Easy Bloom Booster tablets to support flowering. pH is being adjusted to 6.0 using Plagron Lemon Kick. The environment in the grow space continues to stay stable. Temperatures are around 28°C, with humidity holding at approximately 40%. Lighting is currently set to 60% power, which seems well-balanced for this phase. Here’s a quick overview of the week: 12/02/2026 – Day 36. Watering day. I prepared 8 liters of water for all three plants, adding 4 ml of CalMag and one Easy Bloom Booster tablet. pH adjusted to 6.0. 15/02/2026 – Day 39. Watering again, following the same routine as before. 18/02/2026 – Day 42. Photo session and height check, followed by watering. Mexican Rush Auto – Day 42. – 90 cm That’s all for this week. ButterfliesLittleFarm Hello Diary, Strain: Mexican Rush Auto Day Range: Day 43. – Day 49. Another week is in the books, marking the fourth week of flowering and a total of seven weeks since the start of this grow. Mexican Rush has now fully transitioned into the flowering phase and is putting all of its energy into bud production. Vertical growth has come to a halt at around 90 cm, which is a relief — no more worrying about light distance. From this point on, it’s all about flower development and resin production. What really makes this plant stand out is its structure. The main cola is long and stretched, clearly towering above the side branches and giving the plant a very distinctive profile. While the buds themselves aren’t the largest, they are surprisingly dense and firm, with a noticeably sticky resin layer already forming. The aroma is also becoming more defined — still developing, but you can already catch those sharper, strain-specific notes starting to come through. Overall, she’s progressing nicely and looks stable, with no visible signs of stress. 💧 Feeding & Watering Watering schedule remains unchanged — every three days. Feeding routine per watering (shared across all three plants): -8 liters of water -4 ml CalMag -1 Easy Bloom Booster tablet -pH adjusted to 6.0 using Plagron Lemon Kick The plants are responding well to this regime, so no adjustments for now. Here's what the past week looked like: 21/02/2026 – Day 45. Watering day. Prepared 8 liters of water for all three plants, added 4 ml CalMag and one Easy Bloom Booster tablet, then adjusted pH to 6.0. 24/02/2026 – Day 48. Watering repeated using the same nutrient mix and process. 25/02/2026 – Day 49. Photo session and height measurement. Mexican Rush Auto – 90 cm That wraps it up for this week. ButterfliesLittleFarm Hello Diary, Strain: Mexican Rush Auto Day Range: Day 50. – Day 56. Mexican Rush is now right at the finish line. She’s been flowering for 5 weeks, and judging by how the buds look, I’d estimate about one more week until harvest. For the past few days, I’ve been closely inspecting the trichomes under the microscope. They’re gradually turning cloudy, which is always a reliable sign that the plant is entering its peak ripeness and harvest time is approaching fast. While Mexican Rush didn’t produce particularly large buds, what she lacks in size she definitely makes up for in quality. The flowers are dense, firm, and extremely resinous, leaving that unmistakable sticky layer on your fingers. On top of that, the aroma is strong and very pronounced, which is always a good indicator of what’s to come. The final judgment will come after drying and curing, but based on everything so far, I’m expecting a very satisfying end product. The routine remains simple and consistent. Watering is done every three days, and I’ve now completely stopped using nutrients. From this stage onward, it’s only clean, pH-balanced water as she moves through the final phase. Weekly overview: 27/02/2026 – Day 51. Watering day. Prepared 8 liters of water and adjusted pH to 6.0. This batch is shared across all three plants in the grow. 02/03/2026 – Day 54. Watering again, following the exact same routine. 04/03/2026 – Day 56. Took some photos and did a general check. That’s it for this week. If everything continues as expected, the next update should be the final one before harvest. See you soon 🌱

ButterfliesLittleFarm Hello Diary, Strain: Mexican Rush Auto Day Range: Day 57. – Day 63. The final week of this journey has come to an end, and Mexican Rush Auto is finally ready for harvest — and for the last photo session on the black background. Last week I predicted she would need about one more week to fully finish, and that estimate turned out to be spot on. On day 63 of the grow, harvest day finally arrived. That means this entire run lasted less than ten weeks from seed to harvest. To be more precise: Mexican Rush Auto sprouted on 03/01/2026 and was harvested on 11/03/2026 — only 67 days from planting to harvest. Super fast genetics. Out of the three plants in the farm, Mexican Rush was probably the least visually impressive in terms of structure and bud size. The main cola stretched tall, but it didn’t develop the thickness I originally expected, and the lower branches produced somewhat smaller flowers as well. However, what this plant may have lacked in size, it definitely made up for in quality. The buds became very firm, compact, and incredibly sticky during the final days. Resin production was excellent, and the aroma developed beautifully — rich, sweet, and very pleasant every time the tent was opened. Throughout this last week, I checked the trichomes almost every day, carefully watching for the perfect harvest window and making sure they didn’t become overly amber. Most of the leaves faded into beautiful autumn colors by the end of flowering, giving the plant that classic late-stage look. I also gradually removed many of the larger fan leaves to improve light penetration and airflow around the flowers during the final stretch. Watering stayed simple and consistent — every three days with plain water only, just like the previous week. Final Week Overview 05/03/2026 – Day 57. Watering day. The plant received 2.5 liters of plain water. 08/03/2026 – Day 60. Another watering session, same procedure as before. 11/03/2026 – Day 63. End of week 8. I spent some time taking the final photos before harvest. After the photo session, I cut the plant at the base of the stem and hung the entire plant upside down inside the grow box for drying. Now comes the drying period — around 10–15 days before we discover the final result. Thank you once again to everyone for all the likes, comments, support, and kind words throughout this grow journey. I truly appreciate it. That’s all from me for now, but the final report is coming soon. Stay tuned! 🌱✂️

Mexican Rush Auto – final review from my small farm. There are not many true sativa-dominant autoflowers on the market, which is exactly why Mexican Rush Auto immediately earned a place on my small farm. From the very beginning, this strain stood out with its classic old-school genetics and authentic sativa character. Mexican Rush Auto carries the spirit of legendary Mexican landrace strains that became famous during the counterculture movement of the 1960s and 70s. Grown originally near Acapulco in the Sierra Madre del Sur mountains, this cultivar brings a nostalgic and exotic experience that feels very different from today’s overly sweet modern hybrids. Throughout the grow, the plant showed stable and vigorous development. She spent a total of 9 weeks on the farm — around 3 weeks in vegetative growth and 6 weeks in flower. The entire cycle went smoothly without any major issues, making her a very enjoyable and stress-free strain to cultivate. The structure was clearly sativa leaning, with a dominant central cola stretching above the side branches and developing long, elegant flowers heavily coated in frosty trichomes. While the buds were not exceptionally large, they became surprisingly dense, firm to the touch, and extremely sticky by harvest time. After harvest, the whole plant was dried upside down inside the grow box. Drying conditions were not ideal, but slower drying helped preserve the aroma and resin quality. The drying process lasted approximately two weeks. The final yield came to 72 grams of dried flowers. Mexican Rush Auto proved itself to be a genuine sativa experience from seed to smoke. I’m very happy that this beautiful lady became part of my little farm, and I can easily recommend her to every grower and smoker who appreciates classic sativa genetics.

ButterfliesLittleFarm Hello Diary, Here is my final review of Mexican Rush Auto and the complete journey of this beautiful lady on my small farm. I’ll try not to repeat too much of what was already documented week after week throughout the diary, but instead give a final overview of the entire grow from seed to harvest. • Planting Date — 31/12/2025 • Harvest Date — 10/03/2026 Vegetative Stage: 3 weeks Flowering Stage: 6 weeks Total time from seed to harvest: 67 days. Overall, the grow went very smoothly and without any major problems. Mexican Rush Auto showed strong hybrid vigor with a clearly dominant sativa structure, developing a tall central cola surrounded by multiple side branches filled with resin-coated flowers. After harvest, the whole plant was hung upside down inside the grow box for drying. This method takes a bit longer, but unfortunately I don’t currently have the space for a dedicated drying area. In the end, the slower drying process actually helped preserve the terpene profile and resin quality very nicely. Drying lasted approximately two weeks and was followed by trimming. During this run, RQS also sent me one of their newer products — the Trim Bag. Even though I don’t grow huge quantities, having something that speeds up the process and makes trimming easier is always welcome. Honestly, I didn’t have very high expectations at first, but after just two minutes of shaking the bag, I was genuinely surprised by the results. The flowers came out beautifully trimmed, cleaner and more consistent than I would probably achieve manually with scissors. All excess trim collects neatly at the bottom of the bag and is very easy to remove afterward. In my opinion, it’s a fantastic tool, especially for growers handling multiple plants or larger harvests. The terpene profile of Mexican Rush Auto is rich, layered, and full of old-school character. After drying and curing, the buds developed a gorgeous golden shine and released aromas of earth, citrus, spice, sweetness, and tropical fruit. The smoke itself is smooth, flavorful, and carries that classic vintage sativa essence combined with a modern resinous finish. The effects are exactly what I personally look for in a true sativa strain — energetic, uplifting, creative, and mentally stimulating, while still maintaining a subtle relaxing effect on the body. It’s the perfect daytime smoke, ideal for music, socializing, creative work, outdoor activities, or simply enjoying a clean and positive high without feeling overly heavy. According to its characteristics, Mexican Rush Auto feels like the perfect match for my personal lifestyle and daily rhythm, which is why I’m especially happy to keep enjoying her flowers over the coming weeks. That’s all from me for this diary. I truly hope I managed to document the grow well, share some useful information, and provide an honest experience for anyone interested in this strain. A huge thank you once again to Royal Queen Seeds for the support from the very beginning, to Grow Diaries for providing such an incredible platform for growers around the world, and of course to everyone who stopped by this diary, left a like, commented, or simply followed the journey from start to finish. See you all soon with new diaries, new genetics, and new adventures. 🌱💚
