Greybeardbud So far permanent marker has germinated, 2/3 seeds good, 1 questionable as it appears it’s an inverted embryo. Came out of the shell leaves first. Not sure if that one will survive but has been put into coco to see what happens. Grandaddy purple so far 0/3 will give it another 24 hrs in paper towel but not holding hopes for the appearance of tap roots. Photos later in the week as looking at baron pots isn’t exciting. 2/3 permanent marker survived, I had little expectation to the inverted embryo, 4/4 gorilla cookies sprouted strong tap roots in 36 hours. Dusted with great white and watered all with a 1/8 strength nutrient mix Update Well into seedling stage, the gorilla cookies has caught up with the permanent marker which was planted 4 days earlier. All have their first set of true leaves now. I am impressed with these gorilla cookies auto’s so far, fast to germinate with thick tap roots and already caught up to the others. Feeding every 2 days with ~200-300ml of 1/8 strength nutes which sits around .45 ec Nutrients used plant mechanics coco+ a/b, plant mechanics super n + cal-mag, invasion osa silica, growth technology gt fulvic, canna rhizotonic, canna cannazym, great white powder, house and garden drip clean Single plant photos are seedling 1 week 2 days for permanent marker and 5 days gorilla cookies Light is set to 40% (280w) fixed at 1.5m from top of pot to bottom of light. veg channel only estimated ppfd 110-140

Greybeardbud Have entered veg stage, plants have been meeting their milestones nicely, a little too much in stretch than I’d like but with the use of tent pegs they have been supported. One of the permanent markers have leaf deformation and we are just going to let it run and see what it does. Not overly happy with the genetics from our previous seed bank and will not be purchasing seeds from them anymore given the issues from the previous grow and the germination of this one. However the seeds from msnl are growing great. 700w light at 50% dimmed with a height of 1.5m from top of pot (light fixed at that height) which would explain the stretch when the light was at 25% in early seedling stage, stretching slowed when lights got brighter. Feeding a full complement of nutrients this time over just base and silica to see how different it can be. Plants are handling the mix well. Giving this grow an 24/0 light cycle because they are autos and I want to play a little because I can. Overall I am happy with everything so far. Very excited to give an update tomorrow for the start of week 2 veg the growth in 1 week has been impressive!

Greybeardbud This week has been swift and productive, plants have sky rocketed, pushing higher ec ~ 1.81 from 1.7 last week lights still on 24/0. Have upped the temp to get a more stable vpd of 1.1 will be fine tuning throughout the next day to so to hit 1.2-1.3. Plants seem to be doing exceptionally well, handling the higher ec and the constant light with 2 very different phenotypes starting to appear. Have started watering the whole pot now, they got 3L each last night, pots still feel light so will give them more tonight then back to 2 days between feeds (seems to work well with the current vpd) no runoff yet, hopefully tonight.

Greybeardbud The girls are just running on autopilot the past week. Have done nothing but give them a feed every 2 days, now increased to 5L ~1.81 ec 10-20% runoff, lights 24/0 50% veg channel only. lights fixed 1.5m from top of pot so still plenty of room to grow. They all look really healthy. 2 typical phenos here, 2 @ 16cm, 1 @ 14cm, then the other 3 are 20, 21, 22cm. Expecting to see 3 tall stretchy plants and 3 compact at the end will be introducing 15% bloom channel today to start the full spectrum and preparing them for bloom when it happens. I am not expecting to see pistils for another 1-2 weeks because of the pot size it will take a bit longer for the roots to hit the edges Week 3 day 2 update: well I was wrong. Noticed tonite we have pre flowers forming, I guess in a few days we will have pistils. Have kept veg at 55% and increased bloom to 25%. Once pistils have started to emerge will transition canna bloom into the mix

Greybeardbud Another week of autopilot, the girls have almost all doubled in size in a week, still looking good. Now feeding 2.2 ec still doing 5L /48 hr and still on 24/0 light. Veg channel 55% bloom 25%. Will increase bloom once pistils appear and transition to bloom nutrients, until then will stay on their current feed schedule and potentially increasing to daily feeds instead of every other day. Will not be topping or fimming these ladies, and will resist the urge to defoliate as much as possible. By start of week 5 Scrog will be installed at 50cm, with a second layer planned for around 90cm. Plant sizing from start week 3 to start week 4 Pm1 16cm - 30cm Pm2 21cm - 40cm Gc1 16cm - 30cm Gc2 14cm - 27cm Gc3 22cm - 38cm Gc4 20cm - 37cm Edit - had a look, pistils are there so have started a transition to flowering and reducing super n+ cal/mag

Greybeardbud Time poor this week but have started daily feeds as of today. Have had some environment issues which will resolve when I hook up a constant drain hose to the dehumidifier. Have shuffled them around so they aren’t so bunched up and have installed 2 scrogs at 60cm from top of pot. Greybeardbud Getting difficult to move around the tent now, girls have packed on the height in the last 7 days. Have now dropped super n+ and rhizotonic and added the full dose of boost and pk 13-14, smell is definitely strong now. Lights at 50%veg 70%bloom 0 uv. Greybeardbud Absolutely had to defoliate the girls today, they have exploded this week, the growth has been crazy. Upped the fertigation to 7.5L each but considering 10L per plant for at least 2 of them, potentially 2 x 5L feeds per day instead of 10L /day at once. Have had to use scrog to pull over gc4 as she was 20cm from light. If pm2 gets any taller she will have to be pulled over aswell. Thoroughly impressed with how this grow is going Heights this week Pm1 - 91cm Pm2 - 108cm Gc1 - 90cm Gc2 - 64cm Gc3 - 83cm Gc4 - 128cm 2nd group photo taken 2 days later, defoliating did not bother them one little bit, girls are drinking down the 7.5L feed so starting tomorrow (Wednesday) we transition to 2x 5L feeds daily

Greybeardbud Have split the girls into 2 tents, 4 in a 2m x 2m, 2 into a 1.5 x 1.5m to give them more room and better air flow. Have also scrogged 3 of the 4 plants in the bigger tent. Lights are now 100% veg 100% bloom 0% uv. There was zero stress from defoliation a week ago. I feel like for whatever reason I’m doing everything wrong in the Autoflower rule book but they are loving it all. Have added a product into the mix this week called secret sauce, it is a natural plant stimulant and it’s mix ratio is 1ml / 200L and have bought back cannazym because I finally had time to get to the store. Am very much excited to see the final harvest

3 x gdp did not pop a tap root, 2 viable permanent marker now in seedling stage, 1 still questionable as to whether it will grow or not. Swapping out the gdp seeds with gorilla cookies auto. Have put 4 seeds down to germinate ( to cover the 3 lost gdp and 1 permanent marker)
