Balkh Hash Plant - Week 1 or 6, depending how you count
This Balkh Hash Plant has had one of the weirdest starts I've kept alive in a while. It sprouted as a mutant with no cotyledons at all, and instead of culling it, I left it alone to see what it would do. For about five weeks it didn't do anything at all, the seed casing still stuck to it, and then last week it finally decided to wake up and start behaving like an actual plant.
So while it is technically 6 weeks old, it is really only just beginning to grow in any meaningful way. Right now it is still tiny, squat, and compact, but it has clearly come to life and is finally pushing proper growth. For a plant that started as a little botanical mutant, it is looking surprisingly decent.
No training here either. This one is just a patience project for now. I'm mostly letting it do its thing and watching to see how much of the mutant start it grows out of. Being a landrace regular, it already had plenty of character lined up, but apparently it wanted an unusual entrance too.
