Strain
This is Crop King’s White Widow, grown as a regular clone. Flowering was nine weeks and there were no issues growing at all. This was pretty much a perfect experience.
The clone came a bit rough but time and patience solved everything. Repotting into new soil and water does wonders. Don’t give up on anything outside of seedlings, it will recover!
The plant was in a large container and responded by becoming quite large. At first the buds just spotted the branches but over time they became heavy and saggy with resin. The flowers were rock hard and dense and smelt strongly.
Overall the smells and tastes are sort of classic dank/skunk. Pungent herb smell with maybe some deep sweet undertones. Hard to describe, but its the classic White Widow smell. Sort of musty/moldy-like (but not). It overpowers the tent.
I have pretty high standards with harvest so I composted anything that wasn’t huge. Harvest was very easy with the type of leaf formations, just a light trim and you are left with pure bud.
The effects are hybrid, fairly middle of the road with maybe some sativa leanings, I’d say average potency. A good stand alone or mixer variety.
I am very, very pleased with this grow. It is a good example of patience. I’d say White Widow is an eight or nine as a strain overall, but these buds are such elite quality I have to rank this particular grow 10/10. All prize bud quality. Elite.
