LazyLeaf First grow in a small tent (40x40x160cm). It's growing in an normal-size autopot, under my previous light (100W). The challenge in this tent is that the autopot takes up all the space so I have no space for a humidifier. Balancing VPD is out the window with this one.

LazyLeaf Right before the flip to flowering. Growing quite nicely despite the fact that I have no way of controlling VPD. It is a really compact strain however, so had multiple issues with training the branches because they just want to stay compact. Based on this experience, and the fact that I'm growing in such a a small tent, with some tinkering you could possibly get this strain to grow in an even smaller space.

LazyLeaf We're into quite a big stretch here, doubled in size already. Starting to see bud sites forming so I believe by the end of the week the stretch stops and flower production begins. No real issues with her despite the smaller tent, but I do believe I might have given her a bit too much time in veg because the branches are hitting the sides of the tent now which is not ideal. Will probably have to tie her a bit.

LazyLeaf I honestly don't even want to talk about this one. Out of preflowering and moving into flowering. The stretch it went through is absolutely insane. Caught me completely unprepared. The photos don't do it justice. The bottom of the plant is DARK, that's how much shadow it's casting. If you ever wish to replicate this strain in such a small tent as this one then flip it to flowering way faster than you think is optimal. We live and we learn from our mistakes. It has started its flowering path now so the focus is on getting those buds stacked as much as possible.

LazyLeaf I am just speechless on this one. As mentioned last week, the stretch was insane. And the bad part is she didn't stop stretching even as she was already showing buds. For such a small tent I lost the genetics lottery on this one, despite really good LST. The tent is overcrowded, but I decided to let it be, and we'll see what happens. The buds everywhere are looking nice, I can't really say they are bad, I am more interested to see what will happen with the bottom buds that are sitting in the shadow as I have never ran into that issue before. This is exactly why I set up this small dedicated experimental tent - to push boundaries and learn what works and what doesn't.

LazyLeaf Based on what this plant has thrown at me I seriously can't complain about anything right now. The buds are getting thicker and the plant is looking healthy overall. What's surprising me the most is that even the buds in the darkest parts of the plant are stacking nicely. I don't really expect as much larf as I originally thought I would get, which is surprising. She is absolutely STACKED with trichomes, even the leaves. You can't brush your hand against the plant to not get glue on your fingers. I'm really looking forward to see how this one turns out over the next few weeks.

LazyLeaf Nothing important to say this week. The plant is progressing nicely, which as I've stated many times is quite surprising. Buds are stacking, and honestly it's pretty surprising just how good these buds looks, even the shaded ones. I think it won't be such a small harvest as I originally thought. One thing I'm missing out on in this grow is the smell. It's really subtle, and I don't have a way to describe the smell better, but it smells like 2010's era of weed, but not nearly as strong. It's in week 6 of flowering right now, and if the smell doesn't get stronger on this one then I guess I would potentially recommend it for someone who has a lot of room but wants to grow something with weak smell. We'll see in the upcoming weeks.

LazyLeaf Boy was I wrong about the smell last week. One week later and this smells like earthy flowers through and through. And boy, the genetic potential of this strain is off the charts. It's rather interesting to see how the most shaded buds, the ones receiving barely, if any light, are producing more trichomes than the buds on the top. It's hard to capture a photo of that due to shade, but in-person it looks really weird. It's my first time experimenting with a "screw it, don't defoliate at all" type of grow so I've never seen that before. All in all, almost every part of the plant is completely covered in trichomes. It has now been flowering for 7 weeks. Most trichomes are cloudy, some still clear. I harvest at peak potency, which means cloudy trichomes, avoiding ambers. Based on my observations I give it maybe a week more and it's done - which aligns with what the breeders said, which is about 8 weeks of flowering until harvest. My advice as of this week - give this strain a shot if you're looking for a frosty producer, but make sure you have enough space, because the stretch is insane.

LazyLeaf Thought I was going to be harvesting this week, but I don't like the how the trichomes look, so I guess we'll be spending a bit more time together with her. The smell has gotten absolutely insane, and quite frankly, unbearable. Yes, it's that strong. Nothing else noteworthy to report honestly, just waiting for her to finish.

LazyLeaf I'm going to have to be completely honest here boys and girls - no idea what's going on. 65 days of flowering, and from the early signs that she was going to finish quickly she has now completely stalled. Trichomes aren't changing a bit. One more week, part 3.
