AUTO XXL BSF Rainbows & Pineapple Larry

RusselSprout Week 1 - the beginning of the journey, my very second grow. This time, two times the seeds! My first grow was a national seed bank named "epic genetics" and the strain was "Lush Ice", not really of much renown, but the flower ended up being super strong (I reckon around 21-22% THC) and the profile was very lemony/citrusy. The yield was 63g dry. Will this same set up be enough for two plants? will the yield be greater? will the taste be more delicious? Come along with me and lets find out! 🐶

RusselSprout I started LST around week two, day 11! This picture is from the Rainbows, as I have sensed that the Larry still lacked the necessary strength to tolerate lst yet, but fear not! It got bondaged the next week lol. It's my first time applying LST, so it may look janky (or not). I've noticed the difference between sativa and indica growth patterns! One is very explosive, focusing on the veg growth from day 1 (Rainbows) and the other (Larry) focuses the first days on root development, making it look stunted or slow paced. Very important information i've learned and a lesson I will forever apply from now on.

RusselSprout Both are now tied down and beginning to enjoy the benefits of LST! As the days go on, it's effect will be easier to notice, and in the last weeks, the canopy shape will be completely different from an untrained plant! Really enjoying this process! Although I may have gone a little bit too steep with the angles. I don't really know! But they seem good, flexy and are not under a substantial amount of tension.

RusselSprout Nothing much to say about this one! Just loving the bushiness coming through! istg, LST is completely goated and my favorite technique! I do want to try FIM/Topping and supercropping tho... but maybe another time.

RusselSprout Progress! Really happy with how things are turning out. It seems like the LST, even if it looked a bit too much, worked wonderfully and was on point! I'm really sorry for the overly saturated photos, I'll keep in mind to turn off the blurple ass growlight next time. I'm currently posting this images as I have 'em, since I have recently discovered this awesome website. After week 9, all the pictures will be taken with them growlights off, disturbing my plants as little as possible during dark hours.

RusselSprout I am really liking the way these plants are growing! It feels very structurated even tho the LST was made without much technique and only going by vibes. I will have to open it further in the next days, yet the amount of colas spawning is very nice indeed! Let's hope the beautiful shape translates in a beautiful harvest! Wroof

RusselSprout If you wonder why there isn't a week 7, I missed it! Not in the sense of not feeding the plant of course, I simply didn't take any picture inbetween week 6 and 8! There wans't much to document. But week 8? God! Look at the way the plant changed! Buds are starting to thicken, and the defoliation in the lower 2/3rds of the plant is really starting to show! It always hurts cutting and throwing away the little budsites that you know will be popcorn, but the end result is always worth that pain. Rest in peace little budsites, you will never be forgotten! And your sacrifice is highly valued. Much love, see y'all on week 10! :)

RusselSprout Unsure about the growth stage as this is my second grow, and my first grow under this half assed lights feeding two plants. My last grow (undocummented, lost due to my phone being stolen) was a Lush Ice from Epic Genetics and yielded 63g. Pretty good for a first timer if you ask me! Hyped for the results of this grow! Learned a lot, and still learning bit by bit by the day! Taking care of such amazing plant fuels me with energy to keep going through the days.

RusselSprout Hope y'all who have been waiting for updates on this diary has had their expectations met! :) The next grow is... interesting... hehe, I've upgraded from my 4 COB LED 200w light to a 280w samsung evo mint light!
