RusselSprout Here it is! My first ever grow! An amazing experience- if you ask me. Even though I had lost all the pictures due to leaving my phone behind, a good friend of mine (Saludo al Delo perro) I was able to recover *some* of this grow documents. Sadly, most of the grow information will be blank because I have none of it, and my memory ain't that good. This diary is more an act of love than something I'm proud of, since it is all very crude and the pictures were not taken with the thought of sharing them in mind. The pictures may not be the best, the techniques, strain and feeding might not be on point, but it is my first plant and I will cherish the memories forever. Without further ado, Lucifer, my first ever cannabis plant.

RusselSprout Week two of growth! My Lucifer was growing strong, and... with some company, as you may see. All the other plants in this tent were later culled because they were just experiments of mine, just me practicing techniques in random seeds I got from friends. They were all going to be discarded, and I simply took advantage of them going to the trash and gave them a purpose! Instead of simply throwing them away I used them to practice and get a feel of this whole growing stuff, they all grew pretty healthy and I even practiced a good amount of LST in what I believe was a photoperiodic seed (sad part it was a male, good part I learned a LOT from it)! But in the end, once I was satisfied with all I had learned, I killed all the plants and focused my energy to care for and study Lucifer, the one and only plant left in this first grow. In memory of: "La Salvaje", my first LST and real grow experience | "Kindred", the undying. I tortured this plant with hard water, poor soil, bad drainage, overwater and bad temepratures, somehow, it thrived. This showed me how amazing and resilient this plant can really be. | "Flusha" Just a tiny fella I grew in order to learn how roots adapt to smaller pots. All this plants served a really important purpose in my learning experience, and this will show in Lucifer's harvest.

RusselSprout These pictures correspond to somewhere between week 4 and 5! Lucifer was growing rapidly and very healthy. To my surprise, the preflowering started later that I expected (Lush Ice by Epic Genetics, a local bank, is supposed to be a speedy bloomer). Nothing much to add yet to these pictures. I love the way that top shot from the canopy looks like. I can remember at this point that I felt very proud of the shape my plant had taken, oh the surprise I'll find in the later weeks. Culling the other plants allowed me to make use of the whole ppfd that my shitty lamp is able to produce! The lamp has 4 COB LED's soldered, it is very basic and in summer the heat can get up to 32°! That's why I always need to have my AC on at 25° so the indoor hovers between 25° and 27°, I don't let the indoor go over 30°.

RusselSprout Ah, yes! My first ever lollipopping! I remember being super chill and happy go lucky at the time as I had researched a lot and was SUPER confident in everything I was doing up to that moment. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I've consumed at least 250hrs in cannabis content, so even though it's my first time- I feel I'm grossly educated regarding this topic. When I showed my friends the pictures of the "crime scene" with the twigs, bud sites and the scissors I can recall them calling me a monster. The next week I'm uploading is the pre-harvest! Y'all will get surprised hehe! :3c

RusselSprout Giant, dense and sticky buds! On my first run! I was so euphoric about the results. The amount of things I learned during this whole experience was enormous and the experience itself was fantastic. I took a lot of notes and dug deeper into everything I've failed at. (For example: Overwatering, overfeeding, light distance, not training and not supporting the sagging bud), but all the bad things aside! Isn't Lucifer just gorgeous? For the next entry of this diary, the harvest. Only one picture, yet a telling one.

Week 11. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

The long wait is over, harvest day has come! Once I found out that the 80% of my trichomes were milky, 15% white and about 5% amber using a cellphone lens microscope (jewelers microscope) I decided to cut down and hand the plant. The buds were dense, sticky, smelly and hella big! The final dry weight was 63g. This flower gave me access to some of the best memories I have, and for that I'll always be grateful. I want to thank the bank for this beautiful strain, my friends Delo and Azzy who were there since day ONE (literally helped me set up the tent) and me for never giving up. Good smokes everyone! Keep it green.

RusselSprout And so this act comes to an end, but fret not, for the show must go on. You can still check my Rainbow Skittlez XXL and Pineapple Larry OG XXL grow that is currently ongoing! :) wruff
