NoProbation4Weed The weather was really perfect for April conditions! It was cold at night, but there was no frost. During the day, the whole week was pleasantly warm—a great test of this genetics’ resilience. By now, she looks truly vigorous and healthy. I’m very excited to see how things will progress outdoors; maybe we’ll even get a warm, dry September/October 🤞

NoProbation4Weed The outdoor Slushberry Mintz is thriving and has continued to develop exceptionally well. It has been topped and defoliated for a second time to encourage further branching and maintain a healthy structure. Additionally, cuttings were taken from the lower branches to preserve the genetics, as I have very high expectations for this cultivar. The plant is healthy, vigorous, and showing excellent growth overall. The indoor plant has finally been transplanted into a new 25L fabric pot and is gradually recovering and settling into its new environment. I am very excited to see how this genetic line will perform throughout the grow cycle.

NoProbation4Weed The outdoor plant looks very healthy and is thriving. This week, all branches were topped for the second time. In addition, the plant was defoliated for the fourth time to improve airflow and encourage stronger growth of the lower branches. The plant is already developing a strong and intense aroma, which gives me high expectations for its genetics. The indoor plant is also doing very well. It has recovered nicely from transplanting and has resumed vigorous growth.

NoProbation4Weed Both plants look very healthy and continue to grow steadily. The current outdoor weather is ideal for the vegetative stage. The outdoor plant is developing very symmetrically and shows excellent growth characteristics. The indoor plant is also doing very well. It has been defoliated and trained using the SCROG method, both of which it has handled exceptionally well.

NoProbation4Weed Both Slushberry Mintz plants are doing exceptionally well. This strain has been performing flawlessly both outdoors and indoors so far, with no issues at all. This week, the indoor plant was defoliated, lollipopped, and topped in preparation for flowering, as I plan to switch it to the flowering stage soon.

NoProbation4Weed Both plants, both indoors and outdoors, are looking extremely healthy and vigorous. The outdoor plant is watered daily with around 10 liters, while the indoor plant receives approximately 3 liters per day. Both plants also received a compost tea feeding. Both plants have already started showing their first pistils, which strongly suggests they are female. This indicates that our STS spray experiment to produce feminized seeds has been successful. I'm really excited to see how they continue to develop. So far, this strain has been an absolute pleasure to grow, and I'm looking forward to the next stages.

NoProbation4Weed This week, the weather was quite stormy and unpredictable. Temperatures ranged from around 20°C to as high as 30°C, with strong winds and several thunderstorms throughout the week. At one point, the outdoor plant was even knocked over by the storm and lay horizontally on the lawn for a few hours. Despite that, it handled the situation very well and recovered without any major issues. I also topped the uppermost shoots once more, as the stretch has already been quite significant. Indoors, everything is looking good as well. The plant has now been in a 12/12 light cycle for 14 days and is gradually starting to show flower development.

NoProbation4Weed Another week has passed, and both plants are looking fantastic. Both the indoor and outdoor plants are thriving and showing excellent growth. I defoliated and lollipopped the outdoor plant to improve airflow throughout the canopy. The indoor plant is currently on day 21 of flowering and is showing strong bud development along with a noticeable purple coloration. Both plants are already producing a very intense aroma, building high expectations for the weeks ahead.

NoProbation4Weed both plant are looking healthy. Its day 28 since flip to 12/12 light circle for the indoor plant. the outdoor plant shows some pre flowers and grows massive. Both got a little defoliation to provide some airflow in between the stems. The indoor Slushberry already gives some strong smell super fruity.

NoProbation4Weed This week, the weather outdoors was very hot and dry. The outdoor plant is looking healthy and vigorous, but it has not yet started showing any signs of flowering. Indoors, the plant is now on Day 35 since the light cycle was switched to 12/12. It is already producing a very sweet, grape-muffin-like aroma. I really like this strain, as it performs exceptionally well both indoors and outdoors.

NoProbation4Weed Both Slushberry Mintz plants are absolute eye-catchers. Indoors, they are developing gorgeous purple buds with an impressive bud structure. The terps are exceptionally strong and incredibly tasty. Rich grape-cake terps fill the air, while the buds continue to swell and become denser and firmer. The outdoor Slushberry Mintz is finally entering the flowering stage as well, showing its first signs of bud development. Overall, the outdoor plant also looks very healthy and vigorous, and I have high expectations for it. Hopefully, we’ll continue to have a dry late summer and autumn.

NoProbation4Weed The indoor plant is now on day 68 of flowering and will be harvested today. Since I was on vacation, the plant went without watering for five days, which is noticeable from the dried-out leaves. The room is filled with a wonderful blueberry and grape tart aroma. The terps are truly incredibly strong. Outdoors, the plant is now in its third week of flowering and looks very healthy. There are no signs of pests or any other diseases. The strain appears to be highly resilient and very easy to grow. The buds are already extremely frosty, and the terpene profile is exceptionally strong here as well. This harvest will be used to produce some excellent bubble hash.

NoProbation4Weed the indoor Plant got harvested and delivered 307g dry. the dry result is frosty, nice dense buds with loads of terpenes. Nice purple colour as well. The flavour is dark berrys, mintz and cheescake in the background. Outdoor is is week 4 of flower and the weather is good as well. Its not as warm anymore but at least dry days with sunshine. Today still no signs of powdery mildew or spider mites. She go the final defoliation this week so she can send all her energy into the buds for the last weeks. She is already stinky and you can smell it from far away. Very very intense terps tangy, minty, berry flavours.

NoProbation4Weed Outdoor temperatures are dropping and the weather is gradually becoming more autumn-like. During the day, relative humidity is still within a good range, but at night it rises rapidly, with the dew point becoming noticeable in the morning. At this point, all we can hope for is a golden October with little rain and pleasant temperatures. The aroma of the Slushberry Mintz is very strong and intense, with extremely fruity notes ranging from mandarin to blueberry. The resulting material makes for some exceptionally tasty bubble hash.

NoProbation4Weed The weather has continued to deteriorate, with regular rainfall and a significant drop in temperatures. Nighttime temperatures have been hovering around freezing. A severe rainstorm caused several branches to bend downward due to strong winds and the heavy weight of the rain-soaked buds. I harvested a few buds as a test, but the Slushberry Mintz will be left standing for another week before the final harvest.

Hey. Looks really good. Up here in the far north on the North Sea coast, the outdoor phase is over for all the colleagues who still have something outside. They found mold today... but since you live in the south, you might still have a bit more time. Fingers crossed for a fat harvest (*^-^)/\(*^-^*)/\(^-^*)

@Growcilla, Hey, I can totally relate, the last few years I had to deal with mold around this time, but the season is going almost perfectly here. Next Friday is harvest day, not much will happen until then, but delicious Bubblehash and Rosin will be made from it anyway 😊

Your plant looks better than the lawn ;) What are you doing in the flowering phase to avoid mold and high humidity or to protect it from rain?
NoProbation4Weed
NoProbation4Weed commented5mo ago
@WeedleyScott, Hi, thanks! It's actually just BioBizz Allmix and a bit of guano as substrate. The plant is under cover and can be pushed further under the roof if it storms or if the rain comes from the side. I will probably occasionally give it lactobacilli, but my hope and plan is that the plant goes into flowering early and is harvested relatively early to make hash or rosin from it. 😄🙏
