This is my first grow. I have alot of information at hand but never tried this before. I started this grow on day one from seed. I placed the four seeds in a jar of tap water for 24 hours. All four seeds sank after just 3 hours. I then poured the seeds out onto a paper towel, folded damp towel and placed in a ziploc bag. I placed the un-closed bag in my dark tent for 48 hours. I was hoping for 2-3 and all 4 germinated. I then placed them into an amended 3 gal. pot of cana coco with ⅛ tsp of micorrhizae in the bottom of the seedling hole. I am using the Dr. Earth amendments pictured above at 75% 4-4-4 and 25% 3-9-4 as well as about 7% of pearlite. I also used a humidity dome on the pots for the first 3 days. After 4 days in pots and 3 days germ I have 4 great looking little girls. See you next week. UPDATE: Looking at the dates of my pics I have decided that day one the way everyone else is doing it should be June 2nd. So in the future weeks I will be almost a week behind what everyone else is doing. (And I thought I just had small plants for the time elapsed)

So, I'm having some early issues with one of the girls. It is the same one that couldn't shuck the seed shell. She looks like she been beaten, lol. However, the other 3 ladies look good. I had the light raised up hoping for some stretch, but after doing more research in my lights I'm sad to say they are kinda crappy. I lowered them back down to 18 inches to get the par they need to grow. Used dry amendments in the beginning so I am only watering when dry to ph of 6.8-6.5 Gonna let these girls keep on keeping on. I also got an exhale co2 bag because my temps were getting a bit high.

So as you can see from the first pictures I have had some challenges this week. The girls started yellowing on new growth, and being a very new grower, I had no idea what it was. So I reach out to the community, and get every answer in the world as to what it may be. The first thing I try is calmag. I mix up a solution and foliar spray..... nothing. Then i re-ammend the soil by top dressing, however i know the nutes wont be available for about a week so i make a tea as well. I have also lowered my ph a bit. I have been told 6.5- 6.8 for coco and dry amendments, but when i tested the runoff it was 7.23, too high. I have watered again at 6.2 and my runoff today was 6.5, so fingers crossed I start to see improvement in the color. I also put in an exhale co2 bag because temps were a little high this week and I was told I could run a little higher with co2 supplementation. I also put in another humidifier because my humidity was in the high 30's, it is now mid 50's again. All in all it has been a stressful week but I'm hoping it all works out in the end. I have had substantial growth this week. Look at the nodes and the growth coming off them. Please some back next Sunday for another weeks progress.

Soooo...... this week has had its ups and downs. As a new grower I have pretty much screwed up in every way. Lol, but in that effect I have learned alot for the next grow. I've over watered, nute burned, wind burned, etc. I found out at the end of this week that my plants are not autos, they are photos! So with that being said, I went ahead and topped everything that I could. I tied them down as much as possible and I'm going to give them a week to recover. Then I'm flipping the lights to 12/12 and sending them in to flower! I've also picked up some molasses and I'm mixing it with the water at a 1 tbs/gal ratio.

After I found out my plants were not only photos but bag seeds as well I was very upset. However, I decided to make the best of it. I took the one that wasn't growing out of the tent and placed it outside. I then topped and tied down as many sites as I could. The next day I found the plant outside had been dug out of the pot and taken by an animal, so no more updates for her. The plants in the tent have recovered nicely and I went to a 12/12 light schedule on friday. They are already stretching again and I will be trying to control that as much as possible. They have not shown sex yet but after all the surprises on this grow I just have to be hopeful. I top dressed the coco with a 50/50 blend of veg and bloom to prepare for flower. Now just water when dry for another 4 weeks.

This week has gone pretty smoothly. Using the dry amendments there isnt much to be done. The girls have been stretching like crazy. All I have done is watered when dry which is about every 2 days for the big one and every 4-5 for the smaller ones. The big girl has shown sex as you can see by the pics, however it seems the others are still struggling. I really wish I had more space and a cloner because this big girl would have been a great pheno to take cuttings from. That is all the news for now. I'll just keep watering till next week!

This week has run pretty smoothly. I have been watering when dry with tap water ph to 6.3 and 2tbs/gal of unsulphered molasses. I found a herm spot on one of the girls which was strange. I topped it 3 weeks ago and it made 2 tops... one was pure female and the other was male. Needless to say I cut the boy leg off. Been over the plant daily and the entire rest of the plant is female! I will continue to watch. The other 2 are quite a bit smaller but they have started to bud as well. We will see what happens in the weeks to come. Probably about 5-6 weeks till flush and then I'll let her eat herself till harvest.

So this week was interesting. I actually discovered more pollen sacks. It was very disappointing, but interesting as well... I know that the genetics that I have this round arent great, but it is a learning experience. I gave it a forced sex change... I went through the plans and cut off every pollen sack that I found. Now let's see what happens.

Re-amended the coco this week with 75% 3-8-4 and 25% 4-4-4. Also still cutting off any boy parts that show themselves.... everything going ok this week, watering when dry and watching it grow! I have a strong pheno, an ok pheno, and a week one.... the weak one isnt doing much of anything and may end up getting cut down to make room!

Just watering when dry... watching the progression. I cant wait to see these fill out! I'm amazed at the progression of my knowledge just because of how much I've learned from this, my first grow. Cant wait to continue the journey with different strains, nutes, mediums, and lights in the future!

Looking great so far. I am just watering when dry waiting on the nutes to run out. When they start to fade they are super close to chopping. I believe they will be in the my herbs now dryer in 3-4 weeks
