Frosty's Auto Freak | 2L Coco Tray2Grow

punktkomma The little Frosty Freak has popped and the first leaves are already looking nicely freaky. 👹👽 Not a slow starter at all like you often hear about freaks... vigor is actually really good. She stretched a bit early on, so I think she probably needs a bit more light in the beginning due to the reduced leaf surface.

punktkomma Frosty is doing well and she looks really nice so far. A bit on the skinny side, but I’ve increased the light and airflow to help with that :) I think I’ll soon start introducing some bottom feeding, not full-time yet, just to get her used to it. In a 2L pot the roots should be reaching the bottom pretty soon anyway 👻

punktkomma The Freaky is looking really nice 👽 Even the first cotyledons formed this weird little helix around the plant haha, looks pretty cool haha I might have counted a bit off or had a small pH fluctuation early on, because she’s still a bit small for her age 😇

punktkomma The little Freak is doing really well 😎😁 Over the last 1–2 days she really started taking off and suddenly pushed out a lot of side branches. Honestly, more happened in those 2 days than in the 10 days before haha I did notice some light leaf tips, also on the other plants. Maybe I let them dry out a bit too much in the small pots and the EC spiked because of that. I’ve now switched the Tray2Grow to run continuously and hope that fixes the issue. It shouldn’t be the base EC itself... that’s sitting around 1.3. No signs of flowering yet! Which is actually a good sign, i think... looks like she’s making up for the slow start She’s developing nicely now though and is really fun to watch 😁👍

punktkomma The Freaky is definitely a very light feeder. Even at EC 1.2 she’s showing some signs of being overfed. Other than that, she’s doing her thing well and focused on branching over the past week. I’ve spotted the first pistils, so flowering should start any time now 👽👻 Overall everything is going great. She just looks amazing... really curious to see when she’ll start turning purple haha :)

punktkomma I was away for a few days and somehow accidentally skipped a whole week of updates 😄 Anyway, the Freak is doing really well so far. I still feel like she’s a bit overwhelmed by the light and feeding...she keeps praying hard with her arms straight up. but not in the good way I think haha. But other than that she stretched nicely and is now transitioning into flower I’ve spotted the first trichomes already, and together with the freaky leaves it looks really visually impressive 👽

punktkomma Sometimes I feel like the Freak is so stealthy that she’s even trying to hide from the camera haha 😁 Jokes aside, she stretched quite a bit and pushed out a lot of new side branches the flowers are already getting frosty and looking really nice 👽 Terp-wise I’m getting a berry / gelato kind of direction so far 😋 Normally I’m on team “if you don’t have burnt tips, you’re not even trying” but with this strain I’d actually start with a lower EC and take it easy 😄 I think she just likes a more relaxed approach

punktkomma The little Freak is no longer allowed to be called little... she’s officially the big Freak now 😄 She’s over 120cm already. What’s funny is that she developed a really strong side (the one directly under the light) with sturdy side branches. One of them is even taller than the main stem... while the other side is completely lanky and the buds need support. Somehow pretty funny to look at haha. Other than that she’s growing great. She’s still overfed though. I swear you could grow her on a rock with no nutrients and she’d still complain there’s too much 😂 The smell is moving more and more into a berry direction with some gelato in the background 🔥🍓 Oh, and she shared the tent with a male for a while, so she got pollinated haha No herming or anything like that 😄

punktkomma The Freak is ripening along nicely 💜 She’s developing more and more beautiful purple tones, and the contrast against the deep green foliage looks absolutely fantastic. Visually, she’s already bringing me a lot of joy 😄 The terp profile keeps getting stronger as well. On my plant it’s very clearly going in a berry / gelato direction. Really loud and expressive :) If those aromas translate into the flavor, it’s going to be an absolute treat. My mouth starts watering every time I stop to smell her 🤤

punktkomma The Freak is ripening beautifully! She just looks incredible and totally spectacular :)) That thick blanket of trichomes combined with the striking contrast between the vibrant purple and deep green keeps making me stop and stare haha I really love how she turned out. As for the smell... she is definitely not stealthy. I'd like to quote a wise man here: "Stinkt wie sau" 😂 The terp profile has shifted a bit too. It started out more berry/gelato, but now it's moving towards a skunky, roadkill kind of funk. Loud is definitely the right word for it. The seeds are still pretty green, so I think I'll give her another two weeks
