The plant didn’t let it hold her back for long. ​ Underground Magic (Mycorrhiza) ​The true secret weapon in the substrate right now is the mycorrhiza. The fungi are doing absolutely full work, and the root system is running at full speed. Thanks to this perfect symbiosis, the guava has completely recovered from the initial pest stress. It’s picking up extreme speed right now – the growth is insane! ​ 💪 High Stress Tolerance ​This phenotype proves to be exceptionally robust. The structural strength and resistance to environmental stress are excellent. HerzundLeidenschaft Welcome to week 4 with the Banana Guave! This week marked an important milestone for the structure of the plant. After developing solid foundational stability and enough nodes, it was time for the first major training. Topping: I topped the main stem cleanly this week. The cut went absolutely smoothly, and you can already see beautifully how the two new main stems are powerfully emerging on the left and right at the cut site. The goal here is also to break the apical dominance to perfectly redirect the plant's energy horizontally and promote even growth. The leaves show a healthy, vibrant green, and the plant has handled the intervention super well so far. Pest Monitoring (Yellow Sticky Traps): Prevention is key for me. I’ve placed yellow sticky traps all around the soil to ensure seamless monitoring for flying pests like fungus gnats. A few isolated insects have already been successfully caught, but the pressure is absolutely minimal and completely under control. The medium remains clean, and the root environment is protected. The nodal spacing is nicely compact, the stem is stable, and the stage for branching is set!

HerzundLeidenschaft Welcome to week 5 with the Banana Guave! The plant has excellently handled the main cut from last week and is now showing beautiful, extremely controlled growth. The recovery phase is completely finished, and the energy is now perfectly directed into the new main shoots. Interface & structure in detail: A close look at the center shows how cleanly the stem has split after topping. An absolutely symmetrical cross structure has formed. To perfectly fix this shape and maximize the center's exposure to light, I started the first more intense LST (Low Stress Training) this week. Using a green soft tie, I kept the shoots flat and gently guided them in the desired direction. Growth from above and the side: From the top view, you can see the fantastic geometry of the plant. The fan leaves are spreading evenly in all directions, so no shoot is shading another. Light can penetrate unobstructed down to the bottom, which massively stimulates the emergence of new, strong side shoots at the nodes. From the side view, it's clear how the newly formed tips are now starting to push vertically upwards. The node spacing is compact and stable – the plant is building an extremely strong, stable framework. Plant health: The Banana Guave is bursting with vitality. The foliage has a flawless, uniform green without any signs of stress or nutrient deficiencies. Development is going absolutely according to plan, and the structure is ready for the upcoming vegetative weeks!

HerzundLeidenschaft FastBuds – Banana Guava The FastBuds genetics have clearly won the battle in terms of performance. The plant has developed a beautiful, open structure, and the buds are gaining a lot of mass and resin. We are currently in the advanced flowering phase. The lady is now showing a beautiful, natural autumnal "fade" – the large fan leaves are turning yellow while the plant pumps all its energy into the ripening of the dense, frosty colas. The smell is already extremely promising. She can now relax and finish ripening.

HerzundLeidenschaft Welcome to week 7 for the Banana Guava! We're slowly heading into the home stretch, and the buds are swelling nicely. The flower clusters are getting denser and heavier day by day. The resin production is in full swing – the buds and even the sugar leaves are covered with a thick layer of sticky trichomes. The smell in the tent is absolutely insane now: an extremely intense, sweet-fruity mix of ripe banana and an exotic guava note. The first white hairs are slowly starting to turn brown, signaling the ongoing ripening. Nutrients are now being gradually reduced to optimally prepare the plant for the finale. The excitement is building!
