tony_kiffton This week was topped and low-stress was achieved through tying down ... Big Ben is very growth-friendly, but the Durga Mata II CBD stands like a one. There should be 4 shoots each 😀 Additionally, it was repotted into a 5-liter Gronest fabric pot - of course in the good Floragard rose soil 😎

tony_kiffton The Durga Mata is making up for it by lifting up a bit, and the box is now almost evenly filled. In the meantime, I'm trying to water a bit less: Moderate dry periods ("Drybacks") increase the air pore ratio in the substrate, thereby improving oxygen supply to the rhizosphere and root respiration. At the same time, light water stress activates plant regulatory mechanisms like abscisic acid signaling (ABA), which can stimulate root growth and water use efficiency. On the other hand, permanently water-saturated substrates reduce gas diffusion in the root zone and promote hypoxic stress as well as restricted nutrient uptake. Of course, everything is done very gently. The timelapse function of the Growcam helps me with this: During the ongoing recording, you can briefly check in beforehand to control leaf position and turgor. The transition is surprisingly abrupt — within 2 to 3 hours, it goes downhill rapidly. However, I don't do this with every watering. After such an action, I was able to perceive a visibly more vital effect.

tony_kiffton At the beginning of the 3rd week of flowering, the height growth (the stretch) noticeably slows down, while the first clear flower sites and resin crystals form. At this stage, the plants completely switch to bloom nutrients with more phosphorus and potassium, as the need for nitrogen decreases. Additionally, this is the classic time for the final defoliation and lollipopping to optimally direct light penetration and energy to the upper buds. Flowering day 19: Today there was efficient, mechanically induced humidity management through targeted biomass reduction. The common folk would also say: A branch broke off my Big Ben! It's an aerodynamic microclimate optimization to avoid flow disruptions in the inner leaf canopy. Otherwise, the Durga Mata is catching up surprisingly well. Hang in there, the weekend is near! 😀

tony_kiffton Flowering Day 22 / Start of Flowering Week 4: After targeted supercropping and a fresh watering with 0.3 g/L Epsom salt, the canopy has recovered excellently and is extremely uniform. The ladies are "praying" steadily under 100% SANlight power and are starting the real bulk phase with maximum vitality. Flowering Day 23 While the Big Ben charges forward loudly and cheekily, the Durga Mata rather impresses with calm consistency. She is steadily gaining height and remains completely relaxed and easy to handle despite a slight nutrient surplus.

tony_kiffton Flowering Day 29 Today, at the start of flowering week 5, I did some serious cleaning down below. I removed about a third of the leaves and small shoot tips in the shade so that the airflow can circulate properly again. The stretch is also over now: the Big Ben is at 55 cm, and the Durga Mata is at 47 cm. So, they match quite well in height. (Durga Mata is still slightly propped up, but I’ll leave it that way). After that, I gave them water with the adjusted Cal-Mag mix and a dose of BTI against the fungus gnat stragglers. The new yellow sticky traps are also up. The SANlight is still running at 100% with about 25 cm distance. Flowering Day 33 The Durga Mata II CBD is taking off! It is also the embodiment of divine feminine primal power 😄 Flowering Day 34 While the Big Ben impresses with early frost, distinct single buds, and typical US hybrid appearance, the Durga Mata II CBD shows its classic Indica side: tightly stacked flower levels merge into a continuous, massive cola tower.

tony_kiffton Flowering Day 36 Big Ben is stinking up the whole place when the cabinet is briefly open. :wizard: Today I watered with a bit more drain than usual... The rose soil seems to hold up without fertilizing until the end? Otherwise, the buds are happily growing along. :peace: Have a nice weekend... Flowering Day 39 The Big Ben (pH 6.4) is showing the beginning of its autumnal, purple-black fade on flowering day 39, while the monster Durga Mata II CBD (pH 6.7) is steadily building its massive main tower. The targeted application of Epsom salt and mono calcium flushed a smooth 220 ml of drain over the DrainMaster and ensures the ladies have the perfect nutrient balance for the final stretch of the 6th flowering week. On flowering day 40, the purple-black fade intensifies on the Big Ben, creating a striking contrast with the bright flower clusters. 😍

tony_kiffton On flower day 44, the main tower of the Durga Mata II CBD shows continuously swelling flower cups and a compact, typical Indica structure. The mass of stigmas remains vital and white, while a dense layer of trichomes covers the bud structure. On flower day 45, the cabinet update highlights the striking contrast between the autumn dark purple Big Ben and the vibrant green Durga Mata II CBD, which is currently adding more compact flower mass. Flower day 48 The buds are swelling, and especially Big Ben smells brutal. Such a sharp, piercing chemical scent.... Yesterday, the Prima Klima eco was removed, and a Rhino Pro 255cbm / 100mm is now in! 😍

tony_kiffton At the start of the 8th flowering week (Day 49), the Big Ben presents itself in a breathtaking, deep purple autumn dress. The dense buds are swelling powerfully and are completely wrapped in a sparkling carpet of resin crystals, even to the leaf tips. Flowering Day 54: The Durga Mata clearly shows the first amber trichomes and isn't drinking as much anymore. Flowering Day 56: The soil has actually held up - first run without re-fertilizing :-) Just a little more and then it's over.... Currently, a cookie-like sweetness is coming back when opening it :wizard: Wishing you a nice weekend - air conditioning on and hang in there

tony_kiffton Autumn (Senescence): Both plants are showing a beautiful, natural depletion. They are now drawing the last mobile nutrients from the large fan leaves to completely channel the remaining energy into the final swelling of the buds. Flowering Day 58 Today I took a small Big Ben test bud from the bottom and placed it under the Nikon... Still very milky/clear... Should be ready in the upper range by next weekend... The test bud should be dry & ready for consumption by harvest in a week. Flowering Day 62 It's always amazing what gets packed on in the last few days. 😁

@paradiseseeds, Durga Mata II CBD is very vital and homogeneous so far... Compared to Big Ben from Wizard Trees, it actually has better genetics! 😎
