tantrumrage We're off to a good start both seedlings germinated without issues. They grew a bit leggy so I've filled up the pots with some more soil and increased light intensity to ~300 PPFD. I will probably leave them indoors for the next 2-3 weeks and then transplant into bigger containers and move them outside. Can't wait to see them turn into bushes. In direct comparison Shaman is looking a lot tougher than Sugar Black Rose. Both are looking healthy with lush green leaves, really happy with the "Hanferde" so far. tantrumrage What a difference a week makes 😱 They grew quite a bit despite the mediocre weather. Did some LST on Sugar Black Rose to spread her out more open. Shaman didn't get any training this week as I'm quite happy with her structure. I think they'll really pick up the pace during the next couple of weeks. tantrumrage They are soaking up the sun and are really enjoying themselves despite the high temperatures. The wicker system is really shining in these conditions 👌🏻 Did some more LST and tried to spread them open and outwards. Not sure if I'll add a SCROG in the future or just tie them down using rope, we'll see 😅 They roughly got two more months of vegetative growth ahead of them and should turn into proper trees. tantrumrage Another week full of sunshine and high temperatures🌡️The plants seem to love it and grew quite a bit. Topped a couple more colas to keep the canopy levelled and promote bushier growth. They are going to be huge 🙌🏻 The "Hanferde" is doing a pretty good job so far! Had a couple of pests starting to appear mainly aphids and also some thrips. tantrumrage I've decided to supercrop both plants. My fingers got numb fairy quickly so I've came up with the brilliant idea of using pliers 😅 PSA: don't use pliers as it's quite easy to damage the stems! I should've added a piece of rubber from a gardening hose. Or be more patient and do it by hand. A couple of branches died because they couldn't uptake water anymore. Shaman took the bigger hit but both will bounce back as there is probably another 4-6 weeks of vegetative growth ahead of them. Thanks for checking in and see you next week! Happy growing 🌱

tantrumrage They've bounced back from the supercropping last week 🤞🏻 lost a couple of branches in the process but I'm not worried. It will probably take them another week and they'll be back to full health. It's also getting difficult to fit both plants in one picture lol. Smaller one is Shaman. tantrumrage What a week it has been... a couple of thunderstorms, some hail and scorching sun. The plants don't seem to mind as they are thriving. They've now fully recovered from the supercropping and getting bushier every day. I was hoping they'd stay "small" but I don't think that's possible as they're not even in flowering yet. Hanferde is still doing a great job, will be interesting to see how the soil will perform during flowering. I've got some bottled nutrients just in case. Thanks for checking in and see you next week! tantrumrage Another week gone by, real life has been busy so I didn't do anything apart from watering. And let me tell they've been drinking a lot roughly 10-15l per day. Shaman is really bushy and Sugar Black Rose is leaning more on the sativa side it seems. Shouldn't take to long now for flowering to start. Thanks for checking in and see you next week! tantrumrage We're almost in flowering now. Finally managed to do some long overdue maintenance and defoliated/ lollipoped the lower branches of both both plants. Removed most of the metal training stakes but a bunch of them are stuck. Plants aren't fully uptaking the water from the tanks anymore. Probably because of all the algae that built up over time. Will handwanter them as well and do a full clean up next weekend. Hopefully that will resolve the issue. I'd say water uptake has improved again and the plants have more tension but it's also cloudy and not as hot as last week so we'll see. It is looking promising though. tantrumrage We're in week 1 of flowering, a bit later than I was hoping for but it should still be fine. Harvest around mid October is still doable. I rearranged the plants a bit to keep nosy neighbours at bay 👀 they'll realize soon enough once they start to really smell. Will probably be my last outdoor run, I don't want to have arguments with my neighbours and overhead them talking to each other about that "one neighbour with the plants" ? I get it, especially if they are having a BBQ in their garden. Let's make this a worthy last run 💪🏻 Shaman is showing some purple hues and both are looking strong. tantrumrage I'm so used to not giving nutrients that I keep forgetting lol. It's not an issue as the soil seems to have some reserves but I took of a bunch of yellowing leaves today. Will do a proper defoliation and lollipoping around week 3. Lollipopping isn't really necessary outdoors but over the last two years I've turned into a snob and so I don't want those tiny/small buds anymore 😅 Shaman is putting on quite the show with purple pistils and the amount of budsites. tantrumrage Another week gone by and the budsites are slowly starting to get bigger 👀 The weather is still great with a lot of sun and high temperatures 26°C - 32°C. Wish it would stay this way until end of October. Finally remembered to add some nutrients, I've added around 30ml for 10l of water and will repeat every second watering (for now). I think the purple pheno of Shaman is very pretty to look at 😍 she currently smells like roses. Sugar Black Rose isn't far behind, no distinctive smell as of yet though. tantrumrage Buds are really starting to swell now. You can almost watch them growing by the day 😍 Sadly both plants have been battling pests. Probably spider mites and/or thrips :( Added some predatory mites to both plants, let's see if they can stop the spreading. The Hanferde soil is probably depleted by now, but we're in week 21/22 so it was to be expected. Ordered some more nutrients for the last weeks of bloom. Shaman is very pretty to look at with the purple colouring. Doesn't really smell like cannabis though. Sugar Black Rose is starting to smell really sweet, different from last year's pheno. Will be interesting to see how she'll turn out. Weather doesn't look good for next couple of days but I'm not overly worried.
