Looks fine for me. Just one thing.. in my climate I would have problems planting it so deep in the pot, due to low aeration I would be a bit afraid.

Hi This little one is cute! The spots don't look like a disease or insects at the moment, more like a little environmental stress. Check two things: The pH of your water (ideally between 6.0 and 6.5). The humidity (52% is a bit dry for this stage, it would like to rise to around 65-70% if possible). Keep it up, the first leaves are rarely perfect, it’s the new growth in the center that matters most!” My personal opinion: The beginner's reflex is often to want to feed the plant as soon as we see a small spot. Here, the plant is still very young. I would tell him to stay in clean water for a few more days to see if the new leaves come out green and without spots before bringing out the big guns! I hope this will help you. good luck my friend

BudBrigade Hi Grow friends! Back for week 3 :) Everything seems to be going fine. Since the last time, I trimmed the brown off the leaves I’ve seen and transplanted them into bigger pots with compost, worm castings, and diatomaceous earth mixed into a growing medium. They seem to be enjoying that as they’ve turned more of a deeper green over the last couple of days. I’ve also given them each a Bean buddy for nutrition as well as a Basil bestie for protection. All of them seem to be working well together as I’ve noticed a drop in the amount of insect sightings. I will give them about a week of plain spring water before I start nutrients as I don’t want to disrupt them adjusting so well to the changes. I appreciate you guys’ advice as well and hope I can continue to count on you all for guidance :) Happy growing !!

BudBrigade Week 4- kinda screwed this one up 😅?started nutrients but I thought I saw signs of bugs eating the leaves so I used diatomaceous earth and neem oil to remediate it. Came out the next day and the leaves were browning. I then rinsed them with plain water and left it for a couple days to dilute whatever was happening, ended up raining both days and they didn’t really like that as it looked like some of the leaf ends bursted on the inside and turned black on both plants🌚 at that point I realized they had too much water so I’m in the process of getting them dried back out to an acceptable level. They’re still green and growing though so I guess I’ll take the win🤷🏽‍♂️Feel free to leave some advice😅

BudBrigade It’s been a minute 😮‍💨 I think this is actually week 7/8 After topping one plant that seemed to be struggling , defoliating the other that was growing well, and a huge ordeal battling what I determined to be harsh soil conditions from nutrient burn in both, I left on a long weekend😃 and didn’t realize it down-poured that entire weekend?😅 so I arrived to an interesting “uno reverse” of sorts as the struggling plant responded very well to topping and also must have LOVED the rain as it experienced explosive growth while the plant I had the most expectations for was waterlogged and had most of its leaves die off🙂 so that was great☺️ I’ve ended up topping it as well in hopes that it will motivate it to recover quickly. Continue to wish me luck?👍
