Lotopharg Today I put the seeds in glasses of water. Unfortunately, the photos are upside down because I broke my phone camera while gardening, but it was never that great anyway. So the seeds basically took selfies of their start. I really liked the Blackberry Auto indoors; it made me nicely tired and sent me off to sleep reliably. Unfortunately, it got pretty overshadowed by the other plants in the tent, so I'm hoping it spreads out a bit more outside and can develop better. The Banana Purple Punch Auto caught my eye recently, and it yielded well too. Plus, it smelled and tasted totally unusual. I hadn't experienced anything like that before. I had the LSD25 on my balcony once; it looked really cool and had an interesting hypnotic stone. Unfortunately, it didn't get much sun on the balcony, so hopefully, it does better outside. Thank you all for your attention! 😎💖

Lotopharg The girls took quite a while to come out of the soil; I might not have kept the substrate moist enough. But now they've made it, and 9 days after putting them in the glass of water, they are out of the soil, have lost their caps, and are ready to really get going. I'm really curious to see how they'll do outside. They should be transplanted in about 16 days. Thank you all for your attention! 😎💖💚

Lotopharg The autos have also done quite well during my absence. They got a bit stretched, so I directed the fan at them; I think they'll bounce back. The Banana Purple Punch Auto tipped over once while I was watering; I was a bit hectic there. I also let the LSD25 Auto fall over because the lamp's cords fell on it, but it will handle that too. They coped well with the little water and were praying nicely when I checked on them.

Lotopharg Even though the Ice Saints are over, I still "soft-topped" them and I'm just waiting a bit longer for them to recover. It was really quite cold the last few nights, hence the caution. But they'll be going outside tomorrow (photos are from the day before yesterday, I was just too lazy to upload).

Lotopharg All the girls have handled the heat of the last few days well. Since I haven't trained them further, the autos have really taken off, and you can see the formerly good side branches just kind of hanging out down low. Now that they're outside, I won't be removing any fan leaves anymore; they're going to do their thing. The LSD25 Auto has been chewed up pretty well by something that’s munching away at the right segments. Exciting! As long as there are more uninfested leaves than infested ones, I'll let it run for now; they look super healthy. I think a little munching helps maintain the relatively healthy ecosystem (and otherwise, I'll either water with nematodes or release ladybug larvae). First, don't lose your head; the plants are now part of a bigger whole that I actually don't want to disturb much. There were indeed planting holes; I must have had too much energy or no drill for the planting augers or something. They all actually look significantly darker green than in the photos; every time I came into the garden, they were really praying, except when I came around to take photos. Typical! Thank you all for your attention!

Lotopharg LSD25 Auto: The sweetness basically has no fan leaves left. I'm considering whether to spare her the phosphorus boost and just let her finish. The purple/black is, of course, amazing; it's a shame that the Atzin is already so early/far/gone. She would have really been a contender, in principle. I hope she at least tasted good. Gave her some fairy pee Biobizz Grow in the hope that some leaf mass will develop somewhere. One can still dream. The Banana Purple Punch Auto is unfortunately not the purple pheno. So even if I had had the pollen ready enough, it wouldn't have been pollinated. Unfortunately, it only has weak side branches, but at least it has some. I think I'll give it a phosphorus boost in the coming days. The Blackberry Auto has remained quite a dwarf and is also getting nibbled on quite a bit. But it has a nice purple color. I'm staying optimistic with her (cautiously), but of course, she's also too quick to pollinate. But maybe they'll turn out to be two exciting joints. 😉 Thank you very much for your attention! 😎

Lotopharg Maybe the wish is the father of the thought, but I have the impression that the LSD25 Auto managed to stabilize a bit thanks to my fertilization. The eaten leaves look... more active, more stable, and a bit perkier. The sugar leaves have grown a little and are taking over part of the supply. Maybe I can at least finish growing them. But it could also all be suggestion and wishful thinking. It still looks pretty rough and emergency-bloomed. Well, I unfortunately messed up with the Banana Purple Punch Auto too. The cold snap brought back the color that was missing in the last few weeks, but at the same time, I obviously over-fertilized it: The plant shows clear signs of nitrogen excess: foxtailing in the bud structure (instead of forming golf ball-like structures) and a worse flower-to-leaf ratio will probably be the consequences. It's a shame, but there's nothing to be done (except stop giving nitrogen). Maybe the phosphorus boost I gave today can still balance it out, but I suspect not. I actually quite like the Blackberry Auto. The dwarf growth doesn't bother me that much, probably because of the comparison in this case. But it won't yield much either. 😂😎 Thank you very much for your attention!

Lotopharg I actually have something to criticize about all three. But at the same time, they also bring me a lot of joy. I've been spending a lot of time this year with the three autos, and I still understand why I've been so taken with them that I now have them both standing again. And I want to highlight that. With none of them did I think, oh man, now I have another one of them standing. On the contrary, now that the aromas and buds are developing further, I know exactly why they absolutely had to go for another round. Since mold has occurred on two of the autos, I've enlarged their respective areas a bit to improve air circulation. The LSD 25 Auto is basically done; not much has happened since last week. Thicker buds have formed, but I had to remove two of them due to mold. The smell now ranges between incense and red wine. It smells really, really delicious. And I still really like the color. Unfortunately, the diagnosis of N-over-fertilization with the Banana Purple Punch Auto has been confirmed. I don't think the bud structure will be anything pretty anymore. And here too, a few buds had to be removed due to mold. Hopefully, there will be something left to harvest, but I'm optimistic. The smell is completely out there. It seems to be communicating with the surrounding strawberries; it smells like a big creepy overripe strawberry that has nothing good in mind :diablo: (I think that's where all the strawberry strains in the lineage come through). I find this observation quite exciting, as it had this "evil" touch the first time too, but in a completely different way. That's how I came up with the Cthulhu "project name." Super cool! That's why I threw another seed in water; summer is still a bit longer. The little Blackberry Auto has stretched a bit and is still just pretty. Less black in color, it looks rather light this week. I like the little Blackberry Auto dwarf. It smells strong and berry-like. I was very taken with the effect of the last Blackberry Auto, and it smelled very similar. She also got a little beauty trim.

The combination of continuous heat stress, pest pressure, and over-fertilization has taken its toll this week with hermaphroditism. The entire head bud is pollinated with unfinished seeds. The buds are foxtailed and stretched. And unfinished. However, since I'm rarely in the garden during the week and the photos are next door, I didn't feel like doing daily hermie checks. I don't think the genetics are bad; I just think a lot of factors came together along with personal failure. The aroma is also top-notch: wicked overripe strawberry.

I saw the best of the three, could have stayed/must have stayed/should have stayed, but there was also snail slime on one bud that I had to cut out. Since the plant is overall so small and I had already taken down the others (and I admit I lost my nerves a bit), she also had to go. Aroma: Similar to the LSD25 Auto, but fruitier, still with distinct grape, gummy candy, bubblegum notes, but without the incense hint.

Lotopharg Could have stood a bit longer, but already had losses due to mold from snail slime.

Not much has happened here, except that the sugar leaves have thickened to support the emergency bloom. There's another snail over it, and the slime trail has molded again. So I cut off even more. Unsure if the airy little buds will weigh more than 2g when dried. Unsure if I should keep the cut and freeze it. The aroma is intriguing: red wine, gummy bears, 90s chewing gum. Heavy incense note.
