AbroCadabro I trimmed the top off both plants to begin a modified main line training method. I have two nodes that will branch off into 4 main branches. In a couple of weeks, I'll top each branch again to get a total of 8 main colas. I started feeding them General Hydroponics 3 part Flora series and it might have been a little too soon. The larger leaves have started to claw and fold, indicating an excess of nitrogen in the water. They'll eventually be mature enough to handle the amount of nutrients in the water.

AbroCadabro Ran into a bit of an issue with the LA Confidential. Her branches have become so rigid that they don't take well to training. I broke of 2 branches while training the plant and spent the last 2 weeks trying to save them. I was only able to save one. The Wedding Cake has been doing great. Neither of these plants are heavy feeders. I can go 2 weeks without having to add nutrients. They grow quite well with very little.

AbroCadabro The LA Confidential has recovered from the snapped limb and is growing vigorously now. Both plants have 8 main colas that are starting to reach for the light. I'll probably flip to flower in about 2 or 3 weeks.

AbroCadabro These plants are in the second of flower and shooting up. 12 inches in a week. Still getting the veg formula for feeding. I'll switch the nutrient ratios to flower next week after they stop stretching.

AbroCadabro Not liking the LA Confidential. It has stretched almost 3x it's starting height and has long internodal spacing. The branches don't look like they are going to be able to hold any weight. This plant may collapse under its own weight. Wedding cake looks good. I think it's going to be a chunky beast.

Happy Harvest Day!

No issue with the strain. I went out of town and temps climbed into the 90s. My resevoir developed root rot and it killed my plants in the 5th week of flower. I did a poor job of keeping the system sterile and ended up paying for it. Oh well. Lesson learned. On to the next one.

Dude I just noticed you aren't using any bennies! I had issues from day one without some beneficial bacteria. Once I started learning about them was when everything just started working and really has never failed. Now you can go many ways like sterile, however I have learned that its much easier to go with the flow/nature. There is a few different products like Hydroguard but its way to expensive here in Canada. I have tried Pond Sludge Remover which was beneficial bacteria from amazon for cheap, it worked surprisingly well. After trying Great White by Plant Revolution, never tried anything else. I use very little every reservoir change and even though its a bit pricey I never have root rot. Now my reservoir never made it to 90, but 85 yes. Its been a total game changer! Oh one note, BB's only really work with synthetic nutrients so stay away from organic stuff, its not the end of the world.😃👊

@Thundrfuk, I tried Hydroguard once. It made the water cloudy and really difficult to balance the Ph. I might try Great White. I've heard good things. I usually use Hydrogen Peroxide to keep the res sterile. However, I got a little over confident on this run and slacked off on the daily dosage of the stuff.
the end.
