JaramnieJazz So I just started my own diary specifically for the male hunt, all are open except for the Neville's Skunk, but I'm not including that one since you can only enter one date for germination, it's the 26.04.26 when the last seed saw the light of day The Doors nr2

JaramnieJazz 07.05.26 Today, the little ones will be planted in 1L fabric pots since I'm going on a trip and otherwise they would die, but in 1L, well-watered, they can last a week easily.

JaramnieJazz 19.05.26 The little ones seem to be coming back to life after such a long time in the Jiffis, they are outside on the balcony during the day and still inside at night.
22.05.26 Spent the first night outside, they're recovering and have almost straightened up again.
23.05.26 Spent the second night outside.

JaramnieJazz 25.05.26 So new week, bomb weather, what more could you want? The wires that stabilized the little ones have been removed.
28.05.26 Everything's going well, they're all getting daily water with light feeding, still no signs of sex.
29.05.26 Everything's going well, still no signs of sex.

JaramnieJazz 01.06.26 Week 6 The Doors #1 is probably male
02.05.26 Now it seems to be a female, I need to keep watching
03.06.26 Still nothing definitive, only The Doors #1 seems to be a female
04.06.26 So it looks like I'm pretty sure now that The Doors #1 is a female
07.06.26 Ok Early Haze is a female 100%, you can see a pointy thing where 2 white hairs are sticking out, The Doors #1 has that too just without hairs, the rest still doesn't want to reveal their gender

JaramnieJazz 08.06.26 Here we go again, 2/5 are female, the rest will hopefully reveal themselves soon. (Update) Either I'm very lucky or unlucky because it looks like Devil is also female, so 3/5, but it needs to be observed further.
09.06.26 OK, Walkabout is very likely a female, I'm 99% sure. Devil could be a male. Early Haze and Doors #1 are females, so 3/5 female, 1 maybe a male, and 1 isn't showing anything yet, MAN. (Update) Ok, I'm pretty sure that Devil is a male, 3W 1M, and we should hopefully know about Doors #2 in the coming days.
10.06.26 So I guess I'm either the biggest jinx or the luckiest person ever, depending on how you look at it. Devil is also a female, so 4/5 female. The Doors #2 is still showing nothing. I would love to harvest Walkabout and Devil as females, but I don't have space for that. Now, Doors #2's sex is still pending, the weakest plant I didn't even want, so I guess I have to start more seeds in search of a male. There's still plenty of time, and even if not, I'll trigger the flowering. I don't need huge plants, just a bit of pollen. Let's see what happens??? And Early Haze was given away. Well, I think I'll start the first few seeds from a cross I made in 2024, which is Afghan, almost a version of Ganja Farmer that didn't have an indica. It had big, giant leaves with thin fingers and large fluffy buds that smelled like mango, and I really liked the uplifting high. It was pollinated by a Critical Haze male from Mr. Nice, which is Critical Mass x Afghan Haze. So I put 3 seeds in a glass of water for a few hours, then they'll go into a damp paper towel to see who pops, and then into Jiffis and later into 1L Smart Pots. This could bring something interesting with the strains of this outdoor round. And then 2 more seeds from a cross from 2022, Mango and Cheese from Connoisseur Genetics, which was very tasty with NL5SKUNK male from Mr. Nice.
12.06.26 All 5 seeds have germinated and are now in Jiffis.
13.06.26 Nothing new with the 5 new ones, but I'm not sure about Devil again. The rest are 100% female except for Doors #2, which still isn't showing anything.
14.06.26 So Devil is 100% female, I've now seen the structure properly, so 4/5. Doors #2 is still pending, and the new 5 haven't popped yet, but they should show in the coming days. I've taken the Devil and Walkabout females out, maybe I'll still get a few grams from both. So still Doors #1 and #2. I think I'll make seeds from #1 and have started 2 more seeds, specifically Nordle, which is Super Skunk, and Shit, which is Skunk#1, one each, a nice Skunk male with the 75% Haze female Doors #1 and Dr. Grinspoon, which is 100% sativa, should be good. And with the rest that are on the balcony, of course, peace.

JaramnieJazz 15.06.26 New week, the newbies haven't popped yet. Nordle has sunk. Shit, nothing yet, both are now in a wet piece of paper towel. Early Haze, Walkabout, and Devil have found a new home. Left are Doors #1, #2. #1 is female, #2 still nothing.
16.06.26 The first one is Afghan x Critical Haze #1, still nothing from Shit and Nordle.
18.06.26 I saw that Mango Cheese x NL5SKUNK is coming up, so I removed the shell. Now the head is half-buried in the Jiffi. Then I noticed that the skin is still on, so I removed it with tweezers and tore off the lower seed leaf. Shouldn't be a problem. Shit and Nordle still nothing.
19.06.26 OK, the last Mango Cheese x NL5SKUNK seems to be alive. The first leaf tips are also visible, so it should survive. Shit and Nordle still nothing, and the Doors are doing well. #2 I'm still unsure what it is. #1 will definitely be used for seed production.
20.06.26 The little ones have been outside since last night with the Doors and the big ones. The last Mango Cheese x NL5SKUNK has turned the remaining seed leaf green and looks weird since it's coming from the side, but it should make it. The Doors look good; they could also use a bit of fertilizer. Nordle is outside at night; I had to remove the shell and the skin. In the process, I pulled the little one out of the Jiffi, but I put it back in and pressed it down. It should also make it. Shit, still nothing to see.
21.06.26 One Mango Cheese x NL5SKUNK didn't make it, but Nordle has changed color and stood up. It will definitely make it. Shit, I removed the shell, and it's a full-on mutant with a really wide head. The seed leaves are there, and with Doors #2, it's slowly showing its sex, but I'm unsure. I'm starting to think it's also a female.

JaramnieJazz 22.06.26 So my crossbreeds are all doing well. Nordle and Shit are both total mutants, need to keep an eye on them and see what happens. The main thing is I finally find a male for the Doors#1 female. The big one and of course Dr.G, where it finally seems like a seed is coming.
23.06.26 It's going well. I'm going to get some soil today and repot the little ones into 1L fabric pots. Shit is dead; I accidentally tore it apart. Nordle, yeah, the first leaves are coming, but everything looks really weird and is taking too long. And Doors#2 is 100% a female, 5 out of 5. Now there are still the 3 Afghan x Critical Haze and 1 Mango Cheese x NL5SKUNK left. One of the 4 might be a male, and not to forget Nordle aka Super Skunk, which I probably won't take since the little one is a total mutant. Only in the absolute last resort if there isn't a single male among the other 4 and Nordle is a male. Time will tell. Peace.
24.06.26 So everything is going as it should. I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to pollinate Doors #1, Devil, and Walkabout. They're too small, and timing is all over the place, no plan. Now I need to get some soil and hope they grow big. Could be something, but I have enough to do.
25.06.26 It's going well. It's hot; it can keep going like this.
26.06.26 It's going well; now it's just waiting until the little ones reveal their sex. Okay, Walkabout and Devil are female, so that's 4 out of 5, 1 male.

JaramnieJazz 29.06.26 Waiting
30.06.26 they should get a light feeding since the little ones should have been repotted a long time ago
01.07.26 Waiting and I’ve also ordered a bottle of Colloidal Silver 200ml 100ppm just in case since it didn’t work out last year with 25ppm. Let’s see which ones I’ll spray with it, for sure Devil since it flowers quickly for Dr.G and probably one of my hybrids too, although there’s a male in there it’ll be tough to avoid cross-pollination, we’ll see how I handle that. I’ll probably have to move the plants to prevent this. I had the idea to send the females into flowering earlier and spray them, so when the silver arrives in a few days, I’ll take the Doors #1 and send them into flowering and spray them, collecting the pollen for later. During that time, the others will grow bigger and can also be sent into flowering and sprayed. Then it should be time for the big ones to be in bloom and can be pollinated; it doesn’t have to happen immediately. At the end of flowering, the plants should put their energy into bud formation, and 2-3 weeks should be enough for the seeds to mature. It’ll be exciting this year.
02.07.26 They’re developing great despite still being in the Jiffys; they just need to get a bit bigger, then it doesn’t matter if they’re male or female, they’ll be repotted with the silver. Early Haze doesn’t look good but it’s no longer in my possession, I have no influence. Walkabout has stretched so much as if it’s already in bloom, see picture, and I’ve changed my plan, see here Dr.Grinsoon seed making. I still have 2 Black Lemon Fast that I’ll spray and just pack all the females together in the cabinet under artificial light; it’s much easier.
03.07.26 So the Colloidal Silver is here, now the question is whether to wait until the Quick Black Lemon are bigger or start with the Devil for example.
04.07.26 So the little ones have now moved into their new home, 1L fabric pots, and I’ve sown Trifolium repens and Trifolium pratense in all of them, so white clover and red clover.
05.07.26 Just a little update: Doors #2 is a female but #1 is definitely a male. I need to take another close look at Walkabout and Devil to make sure I didn’t make a mistake, but Early Haze was 100% female; it’s just the two that need to be looked at again, so 1 male so far and now I have other plans 😅 at least it’s turned into a fun project. Afgh x CH #1 has the thinnest fingers followed by #2 then #3. MC x NL5SKUNK #1 has very round leaves, probably from the Cheese and NL5SKUNK ancestors, and is also much smaller than the others.

JaramnieJazz 06.07.26 So over 30h after repotting and the little ones are already looking better ah and the nutrient instructions are for the old plants, the new little ones obviously need nothing since they have fresh pre-fertilized soil. And Devil and Walkabout are females, so 1 male so far, Doors #1, but it is extremely Haze with a very long flowering time, can go over 16 weeks, better keep an eye on it and reverse the Quick Black Lemon to make feminized seeds with a short flowering time, especially if I want to plant them outdoors, here it won't work with 16 weeks+
07.07.26 It's going well here too, the RQS nutrient instructions refer to 1 tablet per 10L of water. The little ones got a pinch of Mycorrhiza since I forgot it during repotting, I just sprinkled it on top of the substrate, it should work that way too since the spores are tiny and will be washed into the medium by the water.
08.07.26 They have developed well.
11.07.26 It's going, the silicon instructions refer to 4g per 10L of water and Epsom salt 3 tablespoons per 10L of water.

14.07.26 So Afghan x Critical Haze #1 is showing its balls after only 4 weeks, it's an auto since it's flowering after 4 weeks like most autos. But that doesn't mean all its offspring will be autos; probably some will be, some won't. Now the question is, should I use it or not???

JaramnieJazz 27.07.26 Afghan fast x Critical Haze #3 is a female 🤔 now the question is should I use her for fem seeds or rather wait to see if one of the others is a male? Afghan fast x Critical Haze #2 also seems to be a female, MC x NL5SKUNK isn't showing anything yet.
30.07.26 The picture of the Early Haze is 5 days old, it's at my colleague's place and is now also in the flowering stage. I'll update later when it's further along.

JaramnieJazz 03.08.26 Ok it looks like Mango Cheese x NL5SKUNK is a female, Afghan Fast x Critical Haze #3 is a female and #2 no idea, thought it was a female too but seems to be a male. That would make me happy, we'll know in a few weeks. If not, the Doors male will be used and actually that's fine too. Then I can spray the Afghan Fast x Critical Haze #3 female with silver and use Dr.G, which is good since it seems to flower quickly and is also very tall like the mother, so perfect. And the Mango Cheese x NL5SKUNK is also interesting, we'll know more in a few weeks.
05.08.26 OK I'm pretty sure that Afghan Fast x Critical Haze #3 is a female, showing heavy pre-flowers. #2 is a male and Mango Cheese x NL5SKUNK is also a female. I will probably spray the Afghan Fast x Critical Haze #3 with silver since it has the fast flowering but not the auto genes, and pollinate with Dr.G if I get live pollen from her. #2 will pollinate the big ones and the rest will just flower next to the male #2 to make seeds. I will probably kill the Doors male but I'll let the female get pollinated.

JaramnieJazz 12.08.26 So the Afghan fast x Critical Haze #3 has started to flower. I will try to get pollen from her to pollinate the Dr.G; otherwise, I still have the Doors male, but that would be bad since it has a flowering time of 16+ weeks, and the Dr.G doesn't exactly flower quickly either. But the Afghan fast x Critical Haze #3 would be perfect with a fast onset of flowering and a short flowering time.
15.08.26 So I started spraying the Afghan fast x Critical Haze #3 with colloidal silver 100ppm. I hope to get viable pollen from her. Last year I tried this with 25ppm, but it didn't work; it was probably too weak. This will be repeated a few times daily until hopefully male flowers form with hopefully viable pollen. Fingers crossed!
