This is the start of my 2nd grow. I am going with 2 strains, both from Greenpoint Seeds. They are regular seeds, so there is the chance (good chance really) that not all 4 of my seeds will sprout into females. Description taken from the GPS website: Blue Dream x Stardawg Dreamcatcher is our version of Blue Dream strain, a commercial producer’s ideal plant. She smells of delicious blueberry blossoms with a sugary-sweet flavor to match and is known for extreme vigor and fish story yields. The Dreamcatcher resin production is above-average, and many casual smokers appreciate her gentle sativa-dominant effect. She is consistently functional, euphoric, and happy without the usual paranoia or raciness associated with Hazes. Connoisseurs sometimes look down upon Blue Dream, as she is known for growth and production as opposed to her quality. Crossing her to Stardawg is an obvious choice. Ideal Dreamcatcher plants will display all the vigor and yields of the Blue Dream strain, but with a revived sense of potency, strength, and a more developed aroma. The fruity sweetness of the Blue Dream will mesh with the acridity and astringent tones of the Stardawg in Dreamcatcher, and you’ll be able to pick from a plethora of intriguing combinations that transcend either parent. Dreamcatcher is ideal for commercial producers who don’t want to sacrifice on quality, or for personal producers who are sick of small harvests. 6/4 - Seeds finally broke the ground. Definitely starting out slower than the Chinook Haze in the same grow. One cotyledon leaf looks missing, appears to be straight up when actually looking at it. First couple days above soil are definitely slow.

6/10 - These Dreamcatcher seeds are off to a slow start, but they do still appear to growing, so I just need to be patient with them. #1 is on the left, #2 is on the right. The plan will be to mainline/manifold them as they get older, to try other training methods, since my first grow was done with a scrog. They were moved into the tent, and under the QBs yesterday. 6/12 - Plants were watered today. They appear to actually be starting to grow a bit now, albeit still slowly. One cotyledon leaf on the #2 plant is pointed up, and appears to be browning already, but the upwards point is causing it to appear like there is only 1 leaf from the current node, but it is 'normal' thus far. 6/13 - A fair amount of growth in the last 24-30 hours since watering. 6/15 - Growth is picking up. They looked borderline overwatered when I watered on the 12th, so I am waiting until at least tomorrow the 16th to water again. In the rubbermaid tote when I start them, it gets close to 90°, so at least the top/outside of the medium dries quicker, and I believe leads to the chance of overwatering. Now that they are in the tent, the temps are much more regulated, staying below 80° and during lights out going to upper 60s if I keep the AC on.

6/17 - Watered today. 5 days since last watering. Made sure to add water slowly to the cups, as the medium I'm using is a coco/peat based medium, and I realize that peat becomes hydrophobic when it dries out, and the top was close to that. By watering pretty slow, it allows more of it to be absorbed vs just running through. Both Dreamcatcher plants have 2 nodes developed and are starting on their third nodes (slightly behind the Chinook Haze also being grown in the tent). 6/18 - I watered yesterday, then life hit, and the plants were without lights for just over 24 hours. Looks like the newer area started to yellow a bit, which I assume will green again within a day or two now that the lights are back on. 6/19 - Plants are looking good to me. There seems to be a lot less vein swelling, so it appears the chance of overwatering that looked like it was coming on a week ago is subsiding. Got to let them grow some more before I start to chop them up in an attempt to mainline. 6/21 - Plants will be watered tomorrow. Other than that, it is just slowly moving along, and I am considering going to 1g pots soon. I believe I am going to try to go from solo cup to 1g to 5g this time, and I think that by doing so, I might not need to fertilize at all during veg at least. I figure if I can get 3-4 weeks out of the solo cup, then similar out of a 1g, by the time I get to 5g, I will be close to 8-12 weeks, and close to flipping time. I have dimmed the lights a bit, and raised them close to 35" above the 2 Dreamcatcher plants in hope to induce a little stretch between nodes, but they still seem to be growing fairly compact. 6/22 - Watered the plants today. Could have probably waited another day, but I figure 5 days between watering was enough, and the cups did feel pretty light.

6/24 - These seem to be picking up the pace over the last week. Going to be looking to transplant to 1-2 gallon pots this week. I will also need to purchase some more 'soil' and am currently debating staying with the Mother Earth Coco Peat, or possibly switching to FFOF. 6/27 - New shoes for the plants. I ended up going 2 gallon pots for them. Had to purchase a new bag of Mother Earth Coco Peat to fill them up. Got them transplanted, watered, and back into the tent. Giving some Big Foot Mycorrhizae a shot. I hear so many good things about mycorrhizae but many are $20+, and as a learner, I didn't want to go that expensive, but at $10, I'm giving it a shot. Made sure to add some to the hole in the new plant, and tried to get some to the roots but most just fell into the hole. Looking to get another 4 weeks or so (hopefully) out of these pots, then going to go into 5g fabric pot final home. 6/28 - A day later, the plants seems to be taking well to the transplant. DC#2 seems to have a faint discoloration on some top leaves. I will have to monitor it.

7/1 - Watered today, each given a 16.9 oz bottle of water. 7/2 - To me, it seems something is up with DC#2. Not sure if it could be pH issue or what, but the leaves look discolored and funny, the newest set or two. The plants have only been given tap water thus far, so I reckon the pH has been between 6.8 and 7, though none of the other plants seem to show any issues. 7/7 - Been super busy this week. Didn't even really get a chance to look at the plants for a couple days. They were watered today with 500mL of water, as well as topped/stripped to start the manifold. I took the tops and will try to create my first clones, but I basically just cut and put into solo cups filled with Mother Earth Coco Peat. Not really expecting much, but figure it is worth a shot.

7/9 - After the 'butchering' needed to start the manifold process, the plants are starting to recover nicely and growth has resumed. 7/11 - The plants were watered with 1L of water each. There were a couple spots noticed on the 2 leaves left after topping/trimming on DC#1 . Not sure what to make of it. DC#2 has some funky right leaves, not sure if it is from the topping, or if they got messed with during/after the topping/trimming. Either way, both are starting to grow, though they appear to be about a week behind the 2 Chinook Haze plants being grown in the same tent. 7/13 - Continuing the training/bending to grow them parallel to the ground until I can get 4 or so nodes to cut back to the 3rd and keep the 1st and 3rd as the arms to create 4 colas on each each side, 8 in total for the manifold.

7/15 - We are starting the 7th week or so of veg, probably off a couple days, but I want to keep both diaries on Monday week starts. I was going to water the plants today, but the pots still had some weight to them, so I will wait until tomorrow, which will be the 5th day from the last water. I also finally bought a pH pen (instead of drops), albeit a cheap Vivosun one, so that I will be able to hopefully accurately pH the water given to the plants. 7/16 - Plants watered with 1L of water today. 7/17 - Plants looked perky today. Moving along nicely. It has been 11 days since I topped the plants, and the tops that I kept don't really look to be growing yet, but don't look to be dying either, so I will give them some more time to try to root and start growing. I have a friend that has a 'cloner', probably some aerocloner or something, that I may have come over when I top these end branches and have more material that can become clones. 7/21 - Watered with 1L of water today. Checked the pH with the new pen, and it was 6.1 when given. Tap water with some pH down added (.5mL for a gallon) was at ~140 ppm. Training of the manifold is almost complete, with upward growth and flipping to flower probably less than 3 weeks away.

7/22 - 8th week of veg is starting. I will say, while it finally looks like something that can come close (maybe 2 weeks or so) to being flipped to flower, this definitely seems slower than the veg into the scrog I used last time. 7/25 - Looking like they could use some water, which will be given tomorrow. Adjusted/tightened the strings training the branches down/out, and will start the upward growth after tomorrow. Also having a friend come over tomorrow and take cuts off the ends, so the manifold will be complete. 7/26 - Final top to create the manifold, and friend took some cuttings, so hopefully he will have some, and I plan to try some more, when I start some minor defoliation, after getting a few pointers from him. I was lazy on my first cut, and ended up taking off one of the growth branches of the manifold, so DC#2 will now be a 7 legged manifold instead of 8. I tried to look at preflowers, and I am almost certain that DC#2 is a female, but couldn't quite tell on DC#1. Plants were watered with 1 liter of water each, as well as top dressing with some more Mother Earth Coco Peat (the Chinook Haze were showing signs of deficiency, so I wanted to make sure they all get a little fresh mix). 7/28 - We reach the end of the 8th week of veg. Going to adjust the strings again tomorrow, and then it will likely be upward growth from here. Hopefully 2 or less weeks until I flip to flower.

7/29 - Week 9 of veg is starting. At this point, it is just let them grow up a few inches, and also fill out the pots some more with roots before transplanting to 5 gallon fabric pots (their final homes). I also plan on mixing a 'flower blend' soil to fill up the 5g pot around the rootball that is transplanted. This recipe for the soil is taken from MaximumYield: Enhanced fruit/flower potting soil recipe This soil recipe is designed for plants that are ready to fruit or flower. In particular, this recipe works great for ornamentals that are already in bloom and for fast-growing annuals that are entering their fruiting or flowering stage. Parenthesis indicate small changes or products I'm using. 1/2 cu. ft. (60 cups) sphagnum peat moss (Promix BX) 1/4 cu. ft. (30 cups) coco coir (Mother Earth Coco Peat) 1/4 cu. ft. (30 cups) compost (either compost or manure) 1/4 cu. ft. (30 cups) perlite 10 cups pumice (likely to just use perlite here) 5 cups worm castings 3 cups bat guano (high phosphorus) 1 cup fish bone meal (using regular bone meal, got Jobe's Bone Meal) 1 cup oyster shell 1/2 cup seabird guano (likely to just add as the high phosporous guano) 1/4 cup alfalfa meal 1/4 cup fish meal (Down to Earth Fish Meal) 2 tbsp. langbeinite (Down to Earth Langeinite) 1 tbsp. glacier rock dust (Azomite ordered from Amazon) 7/30 - While technically the morning of 7/31, lights haven't gone out yet, so it is still the 30th ;) It almost hurts posting pictures today, because they were really thirsty, but I honestly hadn't looked at them for a couple days. Anywho, the plants were watered with ~1.25 liters of water each, about 90 minutes before lights out. Will be interesting to post the 7/31 photos after a couple hours of lights on, and see the difference in appearance. I also mixed the soil for flowering, and it will now have a couple weeks to 'cook' and become ready for the plants. I did make a mistake and accidentally added 1 cup of fish meal instead of 1/4 cup (oops), and the alfalfa meal just smelled too good, so I added 1/2 cup instead of 1/4. Hopefully those 2 'changes' don't add too much nitrogen for flower, but I imagine it won't. I also instead of adding perlite (didn't want to buy a 4 cu ft bag when I needed at most 2.5 gallons (1/3 cu ft), so I opted to add 1 gallon of pumice. Since the coco peat and promix both have perlite in them, I didn't want too much added. There were also some worms from the compost that made it into the tote that is now storing the mix, so life has already started in the soil. 7/31 - It wasn't just after lights on, as I didn't have time to photo earlier, but this is just about 24 hours after watering, and praying/looking good. I had noticed that it looked like the fan had slipped down the pole a bit, and was causing some wind burn/clawing of the leaves yesterday, which probably attributed to poor looks, but looking better today! I am not that versed in checking preflowers, though I know the difference for sure once flowering starts, but it appears both of these may be ladies! 8/4 - After getting home from work, and realizing I hadn't checked on the plants in a couple days and I knew they were due for water either yesterday or today, I saw some THIRSTY plants. They each got ~1.2L of water, and also a quick trim back. Also, as shown in the pictures, and while still under 18/6 light, DC#2 has developed balls, and is definitely a male. I have been contemplating growing any males out for pollen, but that just might be further down the road for me. He will likely get the plug soon. On the plus side, DC#1 definitely has hairs!

8/5 - Well, it looks like DC#1 is the only female from the 4 planted (2 Chinook Haze in another diary), and the 2 Dreamcatchers. I was debating collecting pollen, but I think that is something for down the road. I have tossed a couple Fastbuds Smoothie Auto seeds into paper towel to germinate so I can have a few females growing. 8/10 - Watered with ~1.5 liters of water today. Took out DC#2, as it had shown some balls on the accidentally clipped branch. DC #1 still going, as she is most definitely a female.

8/12 - From the trials thus far, I will say that manifolding probably isn't for me. This is an even slower veg than using the scrog last time. I am still probably a couple inches away form flipping to flower (to allow the colas some time to grow, so that they can maximize size during the stretch period. I also want to be able to take a clone of this plant for myself even though a friend of mine should have at least one started already. I topped off the pot with a small mix of manure, worm castings, and some of the mother earth coco peat. The leaves are showing the faintest discoloration (likely a deficiency as I have been water only for 10 weeks now), so this last inch or so of topping I hope will provide enough into the roots with watering to last another week or so, until I transplant into their final home. I did happen to look at the roots of the plant I took out last week, and the roots had made it to the edge of the pot, but are by no means close to becoming rootbound. I am just looking for a little more vertical growth now before flipping to flower, to ensure that I don't get stuck with small colas. 8/14 - Watered with close to 2L of water given today. 8/18 - Watered today, somewhere around 1.7L. I have made the decision to transplant this week, right before they need watered again (likely Thur or Friday) and will then flip to flower next monday, the start of the 13th week.

8/19 - The last week of veg starts now, as I will be transplanting later this week, before the next watering, into the final 5g fabric pot, and will be flipping to flower next Monday, 8/26. 8/21 - Tomorrow after work (a couple hours before lights out), I have decided is going to be the day that I transplant into their 5g final fabric pot, at which time they will be watered, and then flipped to flower on Monday (allows a couple days to acclimate before the transition). 8/22 - Transplanted around 2 hours before lights out. As you can see, the roots were doing well, and definitely was time for a transplant. Watered with 1.75L of water at the time of transplant. I was going to remove the strings, but decided that one last adjustment before flower would probably be a good idea, so the clips and strings went back on the plants. Added some Big Foot mycorrhizae around the roots during transplant as well. 8/23 - Picture was taken about 15 hours after transplant. She appears to be taking to the transplant well. 8/25 - Timer has been switched now that the lights have been on for a bit today. Timer is now set for 8p-8a for lights on. Tomorrow will start a new week, also mark the first day of 12/12, so I will transition to the flower cycle, even though it will likely be a couple weeks before pistils develop. The exciting time is ahead.

8/26 - First day of 12/12 begins today. Lights not on until 8p. Within 2 weeks I expect to see the start of the flowers and some trichome development. 8/28 - Watered today, 2L, and trimmed the lowest growth remaining left (like bottom node or 2 on all 8 colas, which was all done after the pictures. 8/31 - There has been about a 2 inch stretch in first 5 days of flipping to 12/12 thus far. 9/1 - Going to call the plant 14" now, and it started the week at 11", for a 3" gain in the first week of flower. I failed to keep every cola even, but they are within about 1 1/2" of each other, with 14" about the middle ground.

9/3 - I thought I was going to have to water today but they aren't looking overly thirsty. Might catch them an hour or two before lights out, but if not, for sure tomorrow. 9/4 - Watered today (2L) and took the lowest couple nodes off each cola. Just a little upkeep. 9/5 - After the leaves looked down in the photo from yesterdays watering, today shows a perky, nice looking lady. I swear there is a growth spurt after each of the last 2 waterings, and she now sits at ~18 inches, with the tallest cola being just over 19". 9/8 - After 2 weeks since flip, she has grown to ~18-19" from 11" at the time switch.

9/10 - Watered today, with 2L of water just before lights out. They should have been watered yesterday, but life won. Obviously showing signs of being thirsty, but I expect a quick rebound by the time the lights come on tomorrow. 9/11 - Definitely much happier now, after the watering yesterday. 9/14 - The Dreamcatcher plant is about 20" tall now. Watered with 2L of water today, as well as slightly adjusting the colas, pulling them ever so slightly downward. At this point, we are at about a 100% stretch (doubling in height) for almost 3 weeks of flower.

9/16 - 4th week of flower is starting, and I am loving the progress thus far. 9/18 - Watered with 3L of water today, a couple hours away from lights out. Minor defoliation was done, with some of the lower and inner leaves removed. 9/21 - I plan to water with a 'tea' tomorrow, that I have started to brew. My local store didn't carry Roots Organic Terp Tea, but the lady recommended Down to Earth Bio Fish, which is very similar in ingredients. I bought the box, and am currently brewing what is probably just over a cup of worm castings along with 5 tablespoons of the Bio Fish, in 4 gallons of distilled water. I plan to water tomorrow with the straight tea. 9/22 - Watered with 2L of the tea. Will see tomorrow at the start of week 5 of flower, just how they like it.

9/23 - A new week of flower begins. The plant seems to have taken to the tea well. Fan leaves are definitely praying. I hope the tea allows for some nutrient uptake, as there was the slightest bit of discoloration starting with some of the lower leaves. 9/25 - I always feel like the grow light doesn't allow for proper acknowledgement of just how frost this is becoming, so I took a picture just as soon as the lights turned off. 9/27 - Went one day too long between watering, and she was showing me. Definitely needed watering. Got 2L of water a couple hours before lights out. 9/28 - I have noticed that the lowest node or two of leaves around the plant are starting to yellow. I guess it is about time to top dress the soil (as much as I can, not that much really) with some worm castings, coco peat, and likely some leftover manure. I want to try to make sure that there is still some nutrients for the plants. For those that grow organics, (living soil, super soil, etc) I am curious as to when you typically see some discoloration, either from nutrients running low or even just the fall colors starting. Not sure when to really expect it. 9/29 - Got the picture to be a bit whiter today, thus showing the lower leaf yellowing a bit better. Top dressed the rest of the pot with some of the remaining soil mix left over from transplant. It was about 1/2-1" of room left, but the pots are now fill up, at least until it settles after next watering.

9/30 - 6th week of flower starts today. Couple of the leaves were starting to look down a bit, so I went ahead and watered today. Since I added a little soil, and I know that I hadn't been completely soaking the medium (being semi organic/living soil, I didn't want to regularly water to runoff), I went ahead an watered until the bottom of the fabric pot was starting to get wet. Ended up giving 3.4L of water, compared to the normal 2L I had been giving. Going forward, I will know to look to add at least 3L each watering now. Some of the yellowing leaves also fell off easy, so I just removed them. This plant definitely seems to have progressed quicker than the Chinook Haze (both listed as 70-80 day strains), as they were flipped at the same time, yet the Dreamcatcher has buds that look like they are almost formed now, just waiting to bulk, as well as pistils that aren't standing straight up, and also starting to show some color to them. I would expect it to finish 2-3 weeks before the Chinook Haze, the way things look right now. 10/4 - Watered today, giving just under a gallon to the pot. Seemed to be closer to being the right amount, as there was no runoff. 10/6 - The end of the 6th week of flower is here. She seems to be doing fine. Looks like a couple clusters of new pistils on the flowers today, creating white 'puffs' on the flowers. I almost panicked when I opened the tent and saw that, but alas, nothing to worry about. It has been cooler recently, so I have finally turned the AC off for the room that houses the tent. I can now just open the door of the room (hottest room in the summer, coldest in the winter) and it remains cool enough to not need any AC.

10/7 - The 7th week of flowering is now upon us. The strain is listed as a 70-80 day flowering plant, so I expect we have close to a month left, though the way most of the flowers are looking, The bunches of new pistils that have sprouted in bunches could be the start of a late swell though which would be nice.I will likely pull out the loupe in a couple weeks to check some trichomes. 10/9 - Watered today with 1g of water. No pics for yesterday as I wasn't around during lights on. 10/13 - 7th week of flower is complete. Will get watered tomorrow. Be interesting to see how much longer she will take. My guess is 2-4 weeks, hopefully on the shorter end :) She definitely still has some ripening/bulking up to do.

10/14 - A new week of flower begins. Watered today with just short of a gallon of water. Look forward to see what the next couple weeks bring. She is becoming quite the looker already, and can only imagine that a bit more purple/frost will only amplify the look. 10/18 - Watered today, just under a gallon again. 10/20 - Another week is down. I hope to see those newest tufts of pistils from a week or 2 ago start to fade in color, and really hope to find some amber trichomes soon. I would expect somewhere in the 2-3 week range for her, hopefully, fingers crossed.

10/21 - 9th week of flower is upon us. She is looking nice as frosty, with great coloring. Looks like we will be just about in the final 2 or so weeks, so I'd expect to chop sometime in the first week of November. 10/24 - Watered just short of a gallon today. The more I look at her, the more I almost think that I might be able to harvest her in about a week. Guess we will see how she ripens up in the next 7 days. Pulled out the DSLR for a flower shot. Also, tried to put the phone up to the loupe for a trichome picture. 10/27 - No picture(s) yesterday as I wasn't around during lights out. Another week down. I optimistically want to think one more week, but I will just let her go until she looks done.

10/28 - A new week is here. 10th week of flower (day 64) beginning. Listed as a 70-80 day strain, I feel that we are pretty close to the end, though I'm unsure if it will take another week, 2, or a bit more. Trichomes all look cloudy to me, so I guess it is wait a bit longer to find some ambers (lots can be found on the leaves, but that does little good). Looks like there has been additional frost being put out near the tops of the colas. 10/29 - Watered today, with a gallon given. Also bought some dowel rods from Walmart to create some stakes to help hold the branches up better (they were getting very top heavy and starting to sway real easy). 11/3 - 10th week of flower is complete, and she was given 1g of water today. I'm going to check in 4-5 days when she is due for watering, and see if she can be chopped, or if I will water and then check again in 4-5 days. I would like to harvest her close to a watering date so she won't be fully/overly hydrated before chopping.

11/4 - The 11th week of flower is here, and I'm crossing my fingers that it might be the last week of flower for the Dreamcatcher, though it might be 10-14 more days. Either way, she is getting close, and I am increasingly feeling like a kid nearing Christmas as I wait for her to finish. 11/8 - Watered today, 1 gallon given. I am (im)patiently waiting for the Dreamcatcher to finish up. I know there is nothing I can do to speed it up, but man would I like to see some amber trichomes start to develop soon. 11/10 - 11th week of flower is complete. Not sure how much longer she will be (I still can't find any amber trichomes), but just going to hope she is 2 weeks or less away. It was listed as a 70-80 day strain, and we just finished day 77 of 12/12.

11/11 - Week 12 of flower is here. Was hoping to be finished this week, but there are still no amber trichomes to be found outside of the sugar leaves, none can be found near the calyx. I am going to monitor it daily, but expect that she might end up going 2 more weeks, or right around there. I feel like I have hoped it would be 2 more weeks for like the last month, but I know she has to be getting close to finished now. 11/13 - Gave her a gallon of water today. Still can't find any amber trichomes, so planning on the longer side of what I am hoping for. 11/14 - Found a few amber trichomes near a calyx, that didn't appear to be part of any fan leaf. I think it is safe to say I am going to probably chop in a week to 10 days. Probably water one more time in 3-4 days, then chop about 5-7 days after that, letting her get as dry as possible before chopping down, which will make 8-11 days. 11/17 - Another week (12th of flower) is down. Should be watering her tomorrow, then chopping about 5-7 days later.

11/18 - Week 13 of flower has started, and should be her last week of life. She is looking to get chopped sometime between the 24th and 26th or so. She was supposed to be watered today, but life got in the way of me being able to do it, and she will get her gallon of water tomorrow after work. After that watering. she will dry out for 5-7 days before being chopped. 11/19 - One gallon of water given, her last watering before her chop, likely to be Sunday or Monday, depending on how I feel after work. 11/24 - 13th week of flower is complete, and she was chopped down today after I got home from work.

11/24 - She was harvest on 11/24, the last day of the 13th week of flower, the 91st day of 12/12. She could have easily went a bit further, but I was content chopping down now. Most of the main colas were trimmed back to about 6 inches, and everything else was trimmed as nugs. I planned to dry in my Rubbermaid tote, and didn't have enough room for the entire plant. I had bought what I thought was going to be a 2x2 tent on Craigslist that I was going to use as a possible clone tent, and when I unpacked it, it happened to be a 4x2 tent. I am using it to dry 2 colas that I couldn't put into the tote, so I will get a bit of a comparison of dry trimming and wet trimming from the same crop. The part that went into the tote was wet trimmed, the 2 remaining colas that were hung will be dry trimmed. The top colas for certain were hard as rocks. Can't wait to see what it does dried. The two tops I did happen to weigh wet (don't care for a wet measurement as I know lots will be lost during dry) were around 30g each. I would expect it to dry to about 4-6oz or so, enough for me, since it was about 1/4 of the tent essentially. Now that I have a 2nd tent, I will look to use the 4x2 to veg/mother plants, and the 3x3 to flower, and hopefully cycle them to get a harvest every couple weeks. I also have 9 other seeds from this pack, so I will definitely give it a go again, but if they are going to be 13+ week flowering plants, chances are I won't keep them around, unless any of them turn out to be something really special. Now we wait for the buds to dry and can be put up to cure (assuming 4-10 days, as I don't really know with the wet trimmed how much it may take off of the drying time. 11/29 - The part of the plant that was wet trimmed and put into the Rubbermaid dryer was trimmed up and jarred today. The smaller nugs that were in there were pretty much dried, but the main cola parts still had some moisture on the inside (was all trimmed back to manageable nug sizes), so I am going to be burping daily for 30-60 minutes during this first week to help continue the dry/start the cure. The 2 colas that were hang dried will be staying up for another couple days. The 6 colas done so far went into 3 quart mason jars, with 25.2g, 26.5g, 26.8g in each, though as I said, with them not being fully dried, it will continue to go down a bit. Assuming the other 2 branches follow suit, we will be somewhere just under 4oz for the plant. Will update again in a few days. 12/1 - Two hang dried colas were even less than the others, coming in at 21.5g. As with the others, I expect some more loss in weight as the cure starts and they continue to dry out a bit. Will update the weight in about 7 days when I expect it to be about finished. I will say, the hang dried plant already appeared a bit more fragrant upon going into the jar. We will see where they stand in a week. Either way, between 3-4 ounces for 1/4 of my tent, not bad. It would make mainlining a viable option if staggered/perpetual grow. 12/5 - We are on the cusp of getting the smell back into the buds after a few days in the jars. 12/9 - Calling the final weight at 98.8g for the one plant, in basically 1/4 of my 3x3 tent. Smell can really only be described as funky. I even tried to ask a friend his opinion, as my nose can sometimes fail me, and his only answer was funky. Will be back in a few days with a smoke report, hopefully with comparison from a friend or two. 12/11 - Friends say the Dreamcatcher smells like cat piss. I always just said funky, and someone else said cat piss, someone said a skunk that sprayed. The smoke is smooth, maybe a bit earthy with berry tones, and for me the high is pretty clear headed and more of heady high than anything. Happy with the way she turned out. Interesting to see what the rest of the pack will produce.
