While repotting, I tried to be careful so that the delicate little plants wouldn't get damaged. The plants are now in my room for the time being, to keep the temperature and conditions as stable as possible. There, they can rest and are protected from wind or strong weather fluctuations. After repotting, they still look very small in the large pots, but that's normal. The soil was lightly watered, but not completely soaked, so the young roots get enough oxygen. Now it's time to observe how they react to the repotting. In the next few days, it will be important that they get enough light and don't stretch. The first seed leaves have opened, and the next growth phase is slowly beginning.

Especially the new leaf pairs are visibly developing further, and the leaves are slowly starting to get wider. The color remains a healthy green, and so far, the plants show no noticeable deficiencies or damage. The stems are still relatively thin but appear sturdier than at the beginning. Thanks to the light, the plants are standing up well and growing evenly. Overall, the three plants currently look quite similarly developed. The watering amount has been slightly increased, as the plants are slowly taking up more water than in the early seedling phase. They are still being watered about every other day. Care is taken not to completely saturate the soil, so the roots can get enough oxygen and spread out well. The conditions in the room have remained quite constant so far. The temperature is between 20 and 22 °C, and the humidity is around 56% to 70%. This keeps the plants in a good range for the early growth phase. Overall, the plants are continuing to develop calmly and healthily. The growth is now slowly picking up speed, and the vegetative phase is becoming increasingly visible.

I hope that with the significantly stronger natural light, they'll slowly stop stretching and develop sturdier, more stable stems. Right now, the plants are still under the milky glass roof of the terrace. They're already getting noticeably more light than by the window, but at the same time, they're still somewhat protected from the extremely strong direct sun. This way, they can gradually acclimate to the new outdoor conditions without experiencing too much stress from heat or intense UV radiation right away. However, throughout the day, there was a noticeable heat buildup under the glass roof. The thermometer occasionally showed about 42.6 °C with only 22% humidity. Additionally, the black fabric pots felt very warm, and the soil dried out quickly on the surface. Therefore, the location was adjusted later. The plants are now in a more airy spot in partial shade. They continue to receive real sunlight, while the better air circulation helps prevent heat buildup. The temperature there is around 30 °C, and the humidity is about 45%. With the light breeze, the plants are gently moving, which can help them develop stronger and more stable stems in the long run. Plus, the fabric pots feel significantly cooler at this location than they did under the glass roof. Overall, the plants look healthy and have visibly increased in leaf mass over the past few days. Especially the two plants on the left are developing more compact and bushy. The right plant is still a bit more stretched but also looks vigorous and continues to grow. In the coming days, temperatures are expected to rise further. Therefore, I will closely monitor the plants and pay attention to how they respond to the heat and the new light. If the acclimatization continues to go well, they should gradually receive more direct sunlight in a few days. Overall, the plants currently look healthy, and the vegetative phase is becoming increasingly visible.

wwwmitch 01.06.2026 Today I checked on the plants again and made some important changes. The plants are now about 10 cm tall and have visibly developed since moving outside. The growth looks significantly stronger than just a week ago, and the plants have formed several large fan leaves as well as numerous new shoots. The weather conditions today are pleasant, with about 25 °C and 53% humidity. The plants are still outside and are benefiting from significantly more light than they did by the window. The leaf color is overall healthy and rich green, indicating that the plants have adapted well to the outdoor location. Today, I also fertilized for the first time. Each plant received about 25 g of Fioran Organic-Vegan Cannabis Fertilizer with Mycorrhiza. The fertilizer was spread on the surface and lightly worked into the top layer of soil. Afterwards, the plants were watered to activate the organic components and the mycorrhiza. Since this is a slow-release fertilizer, the effects are expected to become visible gradually over the coming days. Additionally, I started training one of the plants. The goal is to control the main shoot a bit and promote the growth of the side shoots. This should create a more even and wider plant structure in the long run. I will closely observe the plant's reaction to the training in the coming days. Overall, all three plants look healthy and vigorous. It's particularly striking how much the growth has increased since moving outside. The coming days will show how the plants react to the first fertilization and the training that has begun. 🌱

The largest plant has now reached a height of about 30 cm and is increasingly forming strong side shoots. The other two plants are also steadily growing and overall appear to be healthy. A few days ago, the plants were first fed with the Fioran Bio-Vegan Cannabis Fertilizer with Mycorrhiza. So far, they seem to be tolerating the fertilizer well. The new growth is robust, and the upper leaves show a healthy dark green color. However, in the last few days, some damage to individual leaves has been noticed. Several leaves show signs of nibbling, and one leaf even has a larger part of the leaf tissue eaten away. The cause has not yet been clearly identified. It could possibly be snails or other insects that are active at night. The plants are therefore regularly checked to identify any potential pests. Additionally, one plant stands out because some of the lower leaves are increasingly turning yellow, while the upper leaves look very strong and dark green at the same time. The growth of the plant does not seem to be affected by this currently, but the development will continue to be monitored. Question to other growers: Does anyone have an idea why the lower leaves are turning yellow while the upper leaves look very healthy and dark green? Could this be a normal aging process of the oldest leaves, or does it indicate a nutrient deficiency or a problem with nutrient uptake? Despite the minor damage and the yellow lower leaves, the plants overall look healthy. The growth is vigorous, the shoots are developing well, and the first signs of the upcoming flowering phase should be visible in the next few weeks. 🌱

wwwmitch 15.06.2026 The past week hasn't been easy for the plants. After a night in the rain, they showed clear signs of stress. The leaves were drooping significantly, and the plants overall looked very limp. Since the plants had been fertilized shortly before, I suspect that the heavy saturation of the soil activated the fertilizer further and put stress on the roots. To improve the situation, I didn't water the plants for several days and intentionally let the soil dry out well. At the same time, the weather was rather changeable and noticeably worse than in the previous weeks, which slowed down growth a bit. In the meantime, the plants have visibly recovered. The leaves are standing much better than just a few days ago, and growth has resumed. What's particularly pleasing is that all three plants have clearly entered the flowering stage. The first buds are developing on the main stems, and more and more flower sites are becoming visible on the side branches. The largest plant has now reached a height of about 35 cm and is already forming a nice main bud. The two smaller plants are also continuing to develop, but they remain noticeably more compact. The previously started Low Stress Training is still visible and has resulted in a more open structure for the trained plant. Some lower leaves are still showing yellowing and slight damage. These likely stem from the stress phase of last week. The new growth in the upper area, on the other hand, is strong, healthy, and dark green, indicating that the plants are slowly stabilizing. Better weather is forecasted for the coming week. With more sunshine and higher temperatures, I hope for robust bud development and that the plants will fully overcome the setback from last week. Current observation: The plants are now clearly in the early flowering phase. The buds are getting bigger day by day, and the first white pistils are now clearly visible. Open question: Should the Low Stress Training be continued for the trained plant, or would it be wiser to simply let the plant grow now due to the recent stress and allow its energy to fully focus on bud development?

wwwmitch 22.06.2026 Today, the plants are in the eighth week since germination. In the last few days, I haven't made any major changes and have mainly given the plants time to continue developing. I'm currently watering about every three days, depending on how dry the soil is. Since temperatures of up to 35 °C are forecast for the coming days, I've moved the plants into partial shade. This way, they still receive enough light but are better protected from extreme heat during the hottest hours of the day. My goal is to avoid heat stress and protect the roots and leaves from damage caused by high temperatures. The plants are now clearly in the flowering phase. Numerous white pistils are visible on all the plants, and the first flower clusters are increasingly developing. Especially the largest plant is already forming a well-defined main bud, while additional flower sites are developing along the side branches. Overall, the plants appear healthy despite the difficult weather conditions of the past few weeks. The leaf color is predominantly a strong green, although some older, lower leaves are still yellowing. As the plants are now investing more energy into flower formation, this is not unusual for some of the lower leaves. In the coming days, I will mainly observe how the plants respond to the forecasted heat. It will be particularly interesting to see whether the location in partial shade is sufficient to avoid heat stress or if additional measures will be necessary. Currently, the decision to choose the shadier spot seems to have been the right one.

No major issues have arisen, and they have been able to continue developing without further incidents. The buds have significantly increased in size during this time and are now visibly producing more resin. Especially on the main bud, a dense layer of trichomes is already noticeable, and the first pistils are slowly starting to turn orange. Nevertheless, the plants are still in the middle of the flowering phase and need a bit more time until maturity. Overall, the plants give a stable impression. The main buds are slowly becoming denser, and the flowers on the side branches are also continuously developing. Compared to the last entries, the growth has become noticeably slower, but the energy is now mainly flowing into bud formation. However, I have the impression that the plants might be slowly lacking nutrients. Especially the lower leaves are increasingly yellowing, while the upper leaves still look mostly healthy. Since the soil in the fabric pot has settled significantly over time, I'm considering adding some fresh soil. This could help cover the roots better and provide the plants with some additional nutrients. Currently, I am still watering regularly as needed and closely observing how the buds develop in the coming weeks. Overall, I am satisfied with the progress so far and curious to see how much the buds will swell during the remaining flowering time.

Especially the main buds look well-developed and are visibly covered in resin. Some older leaves are now showing stronger yellowing and partially brown tips. Since it mainly affects the lower and older leaves, it seems like the plants are slowly entering the final phase of flowering and are directing their remaining energy more into the buds. The upper growth and the buds, on the other hand, still look stable. Under the microscope, I checked the trichomes. They are mostly milky now, which indicates that the harvest window is slowly starting. Some trichomes still appear clear, while only a few are showing amber so far. Therefore, I will continue to monitor the development in the coming days and check regularly again.

The buds look even more compact than last week and are noticeably stronger coated with resin. Especially the main buds now look very dense and ripe. Today I checked the trichomes again with the microscope. Most are now milky, and I could already spot some amber trichomes. The harvest window is approaching. I will now check the plants daily to not miss the optimal harvest time. As in the last few days, some of the older fan leaves are turning yellow. This is normal at this point, as the plants are shifting their last nutrient reserves into the buds. Otherwise, they show no abnormalities and appear overall healthy.
