My first real grow. Using ObiWan Kush from Canuk Seeds. Wish me luck, I'll build a SCROG within the upcoming week, as it's still too early.
Grow tent arrived on June 3rd.
Using Alaska Fish Fertilizer (5-1-1) OMRI Certified, Since buying it, I've learned a lot about it, mostly negative. Might switch it up, or keep going with the flow.
I also have the Alaska Morbloom (0-10-10), which is not OMRI Certified. I didn't notice when purchasing it. So definitely switching it up, as I'd like to remain organic for the grow.
From Canuk Seeds Site:
"Now proud to present, a strain that has been growing demand from our customers global at exceedingly fast rate, from a galaxy far far away…Obi-Wan Kush!
Coming from the parenting genetics of both Skywalker and OG Kush, Obi-Wan Kush is most definitely a force to be reckoned with. Think OG Kush with greater yields, accompanied by a complex and interesting flavor.
With an indica dominant hybrid and a THC percentage in the range of 20% - 30% it will be sure to knock out any pain you may be suffering, and the sativa portion will make sure you do not become too hazy or unfocused while battling the dark side.
Consumers report that the effects are often used best to battle the effects of migraines as well as anxiety attacks and stress.
DNA Genetics Certified."
WEEK 1 RECAP :
From seed to beautiful little plant. No fertilizer given.
Received grow tent. Also ordered new lights, had an ONEO "1000w" which I thought might be too small, so have an AGLEX "2000w" coming. Should fill out the tent nicely.
Switching out Alaska fertilizer for Iguana Juice.
Week 2 :
-Starting off well, the light should be here today.
Continuing with no nutes for this week, but we'll listen to the girls.
- Both looking great in my opinion, Rey stretching out a bit more, but overall I'm happy.
- Power went out, lights came back on, but not the fans, some heat stress,
- Rey is stretching out more and more, I'm hoping it'll stop soon. Still just plain water.
Said screw it, mixed up a small batch of Iguana Juice Grow 1ml/L of water. Fed both of them very lightly.
- Looking great, managed to get temp down in tent.
- Both looking fantastic so far, got a bit of foliage spray before before bed last night.
Switched in and out fans, see if that makes a difference.
- This brings us to the last day of Week 2. So far the ladies are doing well. I've only fed them once so far (1mL/L)
- Start of Week 3, both looking nice and perky. Will start adding more nutes this week, as well as transplant to a bigger pot.
- Not much change today. They're thriving and looking good as well. :)
- Watered with nutes this morning (1mL/L), not sure if I want to wait 4 more days for transplant. We'll see how the week goes.
- Got busy, will update tomorrow.
- Decided to transplant them today, was going to wait till the end of the week. Glad I didn't the root balls were very nice and close to root bound.
- Topped (FIM'd hopefully) Rey, Satine will get topped on the next node,
- Satine got the chop this morning, it didn't take long for both of them, both topped (FIM'd) around the 5th node.
This brings us to the end of week 3. Both ladies looking great.
- Start of Week 4. Got busy, also got some new seeds coming in. Will update more asap.
Both girls are looking great. Topped Rey first than Satine. Rey is showing great growth and Sating is still recovering. Two more days and she'll be fine.
Keeping feeding to water only. Will start nutes again next week.
