Big-Daddy Aktuell keimt eine Zesty Bliss aus dem Hause Paradise Seeds. Ich habe mich wegen der Terpene für die Sorte entschieden. Viel Spaß beim zuschauen und lesen..

Big-Daddy Madame had to get used to her new environment at first, but she's doing well. The hood was on her head a bit too long. Now it's gone.
The growth is good. The single fingers clearly show the Sativa heritage. She might keep her head.
Surprise surprise 😶🌫️🌱

Big-Daddy So far, we've been getting along well. Zesty and I agree to remove the top. Otherwise, she'll unfortunately get too big. The tent is only 160cm tall. She hasn't been fed yet. As of today, she's in a 30-liter pot. She'll have 6 arms.

Big-Daddy Today is June 1st, and thus a new week begins.
Last night I switched it up, and today we start the flowering. Day 1 - 12/12
She'll get nutrients starting in the second week since the plant is freshly planted in AllMix.
Go Kira, Go!
Update June 5, 26
At this point, I'm starting to spread the plant with wires at her shoots so she can catch as much light as possible. I've also removed the back leaf fingers on two levels to let more light through in those spots without removing all the leaves.
Let's grow Kira 😘

Big-Daddy Kira is developing splendidly.
Today is the first feeding.
I've already started using wires to shape her. Not a bad result so far for the first week of flowering.
So far, the plant is quite easy to grow.
She is absorbing the nutrients from the soil really well.
The leaf green is very nicely dark, as expected, and the structure is good in growth.
Update 10.6.
I removed the top two leaves from Kira to let more light reach the lower shoots.
Let's Go Kira 😘

Big-Daddy Kira and I have found a good way,
The cut is nice and she has a little surprise for me too. As described on the Paradise Seeds page, it's wise to keep a close eye on the plant. In fact, it's showing some hermaphroditic traits.
For me, I take it as a good gift from nature and will use it to pollinate Pinky. Let's see what beautiful things come from it. 😅 The Blueberry will also get some of it. This will be fun. 😁

Big-Daddy Kira is having a good run.
Due to the tent height, I had to pull her to the side by the twins. She is definitely exceeding my expectations so far. Her growth is monstrous. That's why she's a good phenotype to stretch my own cross a bit. Two male parts are present. They will open in the next few days.
Let's grow Kira 🌱

Update 21.6.26
The plant has grown quite large.
As I expected from the description, she has lived up to it. She still has a few centimeters to go. The tent has reached its limit. 160 in height is too small.
She is now 61 cm.
Just a little update today on 24.6.26
Holy moly, she has shot up. The moon must be doing some serious work right now. This phenotype is definitely worth crossing into my work.
This is going to be fun 😅

Big-Daddy Zesty and I have become good friends in such a short time. Unfortunately, the tent is a bit small in height. In my big tent, she would have definitely found the right spot. The stretch is amazing. She has neither burns nor deficiencies. She is holding up well against the current humidity and temperature levels. I'm surprised at how clearly the Sativa genes are showing. Tomorrow, she will have completed the first four weeks since switching to 12/12. I'm curious to see what else is coming.

Big-Daddy The plant has grown up nicely. The stretching phase is actually over now. It has reached almost 90 cm. It's thriving beautifully and shows almost no flaws. Great little plant ❤️

Big-Daddy Zesty is doing great. Unfortunately, space is limited, and the good Kira is left defenseless against the light. The distance is less than 20 cm at its lowest point. You can also see that on the leaves by now. Nevertheless, the plant is really thriving, performing very well, and doing its job. I didn't expect such a bush even from myself.
Regarding the breeding:
The plant is definitely suitable for beginners, as long as you pay attention to the tent height and tie the plant down. It also forgives slight nutrient overdoses. Especially since it isn't averse to light, it makes it particularly good for beginners, as they often don't know how to dose the light properly. I would say it's a robust strain.

Big-Daddy Zesty has been through a dry spell. Unfortunately, I haven't found the time to take proper care of her. As a result, I will switch to auto-watering in the future. Otherwise, she looks pretty good. The buds are continuing to ripen 😁

Big-Daddy The plant has done a very good job so far. Despite all the adversities, it's doing well. Unfortunately, there is someone in the house who has a serious problem with growing. Zesty and I have to take control of their actions, but as you can see, it's going quite well. This person is intentionally raising temperatures and humidity unnecessarily. From the plant's perspective, you have to say that it is very robust. However, that's not my style of working. Next time, it will be different. I will hand over my hobby to someone who will continue it under my guidance and who also has serious intentions. You can't work like this. Even though I have gained skills in dealing with adversities, it's not my goal to have damaged plants. I apologize to Paradise Seeds for the inconvenience and promise to improve my growing.
New home, new luck.
The envy of the possession-less is always a problem. We won't let that get us down and will make the best of it now.
Currently, the values are as follows:
Temperature is generally between 26-35 degrees due to this person's influence during the day. Humidity is at 70-90%.

Big-Daddy Zesty Bliss has her last days ahead of her. We're also starting the 10th week here now. She's feeding solely on herself and water. She's been able to handle the stresses very well up to this point. The smell is very mild for such a strain.
Currently, I'm defoliating her a bit, and she's handling it well. The pistils are mostly brown, but I prefer a bit more ripeness. My goal is for her to be mild and enjoyable at harvest. We don't like any green color during the harvest phase. She might stay until week 11. We'll see... Last Grow 🌱
The plant grew just as expected. Paradise Seeds didn't promise too much there. The hermaphroditism in the lower area was kept strongly in check. It wanted to form a total of three pollen sacs, but they never opened.

Big-Daddy Zesty Bliss is a great strain for beginners. However, you really need to consider that it stretches unusually hard. The tent should be tall enough, around 180 cm or more. It handles poor conditions really well, which makes it perfect for practicing with sativas. It was allowed to flower for 10 weeks, which was sufficient for this phenotype.
