zazazilla a bit slower germination, maybe older seeds. After three days in water, moved to substrate, currently in a 1L pot.

zazazilla The girl is growing really nicely, hopefully she'll keep doing well and won't run out of nutrients too soon; she has about a week or two until transplanting.

zazazilla The girl has really jumped up since last time, overall she looks healthy, branching nicely and spreading her levels well, but the leaves are starting to pale between the veins, probably a sign that a nutrient deficiency is slowly starting to show, but hopefully, we can transplant her into nutrient-rich substrate next week.

zazazilla The day of transplanting has come, and I was surprised at how beautifully the substrate is rooted, even though it was already noticeable from the watering frequency, as I had to water every day in a 1L pot. After topping, when the girl was still strong, the lower leaves turned yellow, so I moved her to a 25L pot and applied nutrients. I'm expecting another significant growth spurt after she recovers from the stress of transplanting. I've already removed the bottom two tiers during topping, which started to outgrow, because I think it will be much easier to work with the top four tiers. I plan to top those 8 branches once more for a final count of 16 tops. I'm really curious about the reaction to the nutrients and the overall progress, as I have high expectations for these nutrients but also zero experience.😄

zazazilla After transplanting, the girl took off beautifully and grew quite a bit, so during the week, there will be a second topping, a trellis to level the canopy, and hopefully in a week or two, we'll switch to flowering.

zazazilla Another week is behind us, and I can't praise how beautifully simple it is to grow with biotabs; I just water it, and it's absolutely hassle-free. Anyway, I still have to wait for the end, as that will be the most important for evaluation. What isn't very simple is training this beauty; she's growing quite unevenly. One of the pairs of branches in the node is stronger, and she's stretching the levels quite irregularly, pushing all her strength into the highest nodes. It's a struggle, but she’s starting to look a bit better. I'm mainly comparing this to the girls from Dutch Passion, as I found them much easier to work with. During the week, I topped all 8 tops, so now she has 16 tops. Everything below the topped nodes was removed because I expect a big stretch and don't want to slow it down too much during flowering. So, this week, once all the tops even out as much as possible, I'll switch it and hope I have enough space. 😁

zazazilla I switched the girl on 16.6. when she recovered after transplanting, and I managed to level out all the tops. For the 25L pot, I used 4 biotabs tablets right away, so I was worried about over-fertilization after the leaves turned orange and the edges dried out, but it seems it was probably some discomfort after transplanting. If I use biotabs for the next grow, I will definitely follow their fertilization guide for pre-growing in a smaller pot; this grow I only did pre-growing with water. The girl also shot up quite a bit; I’ll be pulling her down with a trellis for a few more weeks, but I think I won’t avoid tying her down with wire later on, because the differences in stretch between the individual branches are huge. I’ll also need to do another trim of the lower parts, probably in the 2nd or 3rd week of flowering.

zazazilla The plant has at least tripled in height over the last almost 2 weeks of flowering, and the stretch isn't stopping. It filled the entire box and it was getting quite chaotic, so I did some trimming, selecting side branches growing from the main tops and cutting off the unsuitable ones. Now there are about 25 tops left that I've managed to level out with the trellis. The tops are slowly starting to bloom en masse, and the plant should hopefully start producing flowers in large quantities soon. 😄

zazazilla .Holka has once again jumped quite a bit, and most of the tops have managed to stay level, but a few branches are lagging behind. However, the stretch is slowly starting to fade, so once everything goes into buds, hopefully, it will even out with some wire. Beautiful buds have formed, so it was the right time to revive the microbiome and apply flowering nutrients. According to various sources, it's recommended to start with PK in different weeks, but personally, I feel that now is the time when the plant will utilize it, even though we are biologically in the 3rd week of flowering. There will probably still be some minor defoliation for light and airflow, but I don't plan any further interventions.

zazazilla In the last week, I trimmed the remaining lower leaves and also a few branches that weren't getting any light and were too short. So far, it seems like the plant is handling every intervention of mine without any issues. Unfortunately, one day the leaves on one of the tops got burned from the light, but luckily it didn't cause much damage, except that the stretch has slowed down quite a bit and hopefully has finally stopped. There's not much space left, so far I've moved the light up, but I guess that within a week or two, the filter with the exhaust will have to go outside to make more room to keep moving the light up. Otherwise, the girl looks healthy, she has a sharp sour smell with a lime undertone, hopefully the buds will puff up a bit more. 😁

zazazilla Another week flew by, and finally, our girl started to grow wider 😄 the stretch has completely stopped, and the buds are swelling. Even though she's not stretching anymore, the filter and exhaust had to go outside over the weekend, and there's only about 20cm left to the light, so it's going to be quite tight. However, there’s still some space if I tie the branches down with wire, but it’s not a big margin, so we'll see 😅 Also, the smell is quite aggressive, really strong and sour, almost pungent to the point of being unpleasant. I'm really curious about the outcome.

zazazilla This week finally saw some weight gain, the girl has really plumped up, but the branches are still quite weak. I attribute this mainly to the rapid stretch and maybe the lack of silicon. Instead of wiring the branches down, which has worked for me with hybrids, I just bent them here, supporting each other and the trellis, I don't really care about the shape of the buds. I also found it interesting that the top, which got burned by the light, started forming buds more around it than directly on top. At the same time, it has more and bigger leaves at the top, almost like it’s been topped. 😅 The aroma has rounded out and taken on that typical full, dense, sour scent, or rather stench? :D I have to say, this surprised me! A bit of nostalgia... I think it’s a shame that I’m not doing compost tea this round, but it might actually be worth it now, so next time. 😁
