Grimgrows So here we go again in the ecolife living soil bed. Since the last run I've topdressed with 50g of evothrive regen to replenish the soil alittle and a pint of worm castings. The cover crop was then choped and droped, cannabis leaves added, all was covered in fresh barley straw mulch and the bed got a good watering and left to cook for two weeks. These girls where then sowed in a 500ml pocket of biobizz lightmix and watered. The seedlings look strong but poor lemon paya seems to have had an issue getting out of here seed and has some tip Loss of her first leaves. Second time only I've had this happen in 18 years but the last one powered through and I'm sure this one will too. As regard IPM nematodes and hypoaspis mites where released and yellow sticky traps used to monitor pests moving forward. Population of gnats was kept low during the soil cook with a light neem spray, after which no gnats where present on sticky traps. Thanks for reading 🙏

Grimgrows Just been a chilled week in the grow room consisting of misting mulch layers and filling the humidifier. DLI is a steady 16 and vpd is 0.7-0.8kpa. I watered up the bed despite my usual seedling protocol but I felt the bed needed it and that the seedlings could handle it. The ac infinity soil probe is 9 inches deep in the center of the bed and after watering 6.5l was reading 37% and I could feel good moisture in the bottom of the bed. For a while now I'll just be keeping rhe surface moist and allowing a dry back to stimulate root exploration. Looking forward to seeing these girls grow. Thanks for reading 🙏

Grimgrows Hello ganja enthusiasts, here we are one week and one heat wave later. Temps have been hard to control with the weather and no ac but the plants have took it like a champ. No watering per se here just daily spraying the mulch layer and letting rhem grow. All good in the hood and the lemon paya has outgrown her wee bit leaf damage from getting stuck to the seed, these plants are resilient. Thanks for reading and stay cool out there 🙏

Grimgrows Another chilled week here. Bed has had about 6 literes of my peat blackwater and vpd has been raised to 1-1.1 and DLI to 18. I'm away for a week tmrw so I've set up my dripper system which I control with a smart plug, nice feeling chilling in another country while monitoring the grow app and remote watering. Topped 2 days ago at node 6. Thanks for reading 🙏

Grimgrows Came back to explosive growth after my week in sweden. Drip irrigation delivering two 6 l bursts and a daily 1l top up of my peat blackwater. Away for another week away in Scotland so will see what's happening when I return. Did a bit of defoliation and chop on drop for the cover crops. Thanks for reading 🙏

Grimgrows These two did brilliantly while I was away and it was a complete jungle in there with cover crops and giant ganja leaves. I've came in and cleaned the girls up. Did another round of topping on the lemon paya and lolipoppded both plants, choped and droped the barley, aylsum and white clover. All is well after a prune so day after I came in with the scrog net for some training. All in all I'm happy with their progress and look forward to vegging another two weeks to fill the net. Grimgrows Please will the Gods turn down the big grow light in the sky, plants don't seem to care though and I'm managing to keep the temps in a decent range. I've been tucking, pruning, and super dropping to keep these girls tidy. The lemonpaya in particular is really vigorous and I should have maybe flipped her a week earlier but I'm being tactical hoping for cooler temps when harvesting so I guess we are growing monsters 🤣 should be fun. They are looking great tho, saw a couple burnt tips a couple weeks back, nothing now. May hit with a small top dress and flip next week, let's see when we get there. Dli 30 and vpd 0.9 night and 1.1 daytime, watering 1liter a day at lights on with drip irrigation and monitoring to do the odd deep watering with the pump sprayer. I have an inspection hole at the bottom of the pot and it's feeling good and moist but not saturated in there so only a Couple liters extra every now and then with the pump sprayer ( keeping the soil sensor reading 40-45%) Still chopping and dropping and keeping cover crops tidy for airflow and worm food.
