TangerineDre4m 13-05-2026 The Northern Lights seed has germinated and is looking healthy. The weather has been mostly cloudy and she started stretching a lot in the windowsill. I moved her to the tent until the weather gets sunnier. In the coming days, I will start hardening her off in the morning sun if the weather allows it. Starting with 1 hour on day ~3 and increasing it by an hour every day if possible until she can be outside all day. I'll still keep her inside at night until she gets planted at around 10-12 days old.

TangerineDre4m 19-05-2026 Day 1-7 Day 5: Northern Lights is looking good and is developing steadily. Whenever possible, I have been hardening her off about half an hour to an hour longer every day. She spent 2 hours outside yesterday. I am hoping to plant her this weekend, as the weather should be getting warmer and drier. For now, she has been spending most her time in the tent. Day 7: Northern Lights has been spending a lot of time outdoor, currently about 6 hours, and is loving it. She is growing well and will be transplanted into full soil soon.

TangerineDre4m 25-05-2026 Day 12-14 Day 12: Northern Lights has spent 1 day and 2 nights in her new home in the garden. She has taken it very well and has kept on growing happily. Since there is a dog, rats, cats and lots of birds around I made a protective cage with some chicken wire. Weather has been really warm, around 28-30C, and will stay that way for another week. It's still early summer but Northern Lights is already getting around 8 hours of sun. Day 14: Growth is strong, she is happy and is taking outside conditions very well.

TangerineDre4m 30-05-2026 Day 17: Northern Lights is taking the sun very well. She is visibly growing everyday. Her side branches have not really come in yet but they are on their way. Once those are a little more substantial, probably in around 3 or 4 days, I'll do some LST by bending the main. I'm not planning on doing much, just break apical dominance and then letting her grow. 07-06-2026 Day 24: There has been a lot of rain and not as much sun. Northern Lights is definitely growing a bit slower due to inconsistent conditions. She is growing though and looks healthy. Side branches are starting to come in as well. Hopefully we get a bit more sun in the coming weeks!

TangerineDre4m 11-06-2026 Day 29: Weather hasn't been very sunny. A lot of rain, wind and cloudy skies. Nights have been colder as well. It's interesting to see how different growth is outdoor compared to indoor due to the inconsistent environment. The plant is focusing a lot more on vertical growth. At this stage I would expect large side branches, but they are still very small. I'm not worried though. Northern Lights looks healthy overall and the weather forecast looks warmer and sunnier in the next 2 weeks. I feel like Northern Lights is just waiting for the right conditions.

TangerineDre4m 20-06-2026 Day 38: Temperatures have been great! Northern Lights seems to be enjoying it and has been growing noticeably more over the past days. I can start seeing pistils indicating maturity but the stretch is yet to come. She is going to be a pretty tall girl! She has been putting all her growth into the main stem and sides are still very small. We will see how those develop, I don't mind either way. Her sister is doing a lot more branching and has slowed vertical growth to divert into her sides, becoming a natural bush.
