Mo_Powers First grow in the greenhouse. I would have liked to have started earlier, but I couldn’t find the time. I’m curious to see how this little one develops. Will it really stay small and compact?

Mo_Powers The cold days are behind us and summer is just around the corner. It’s only a small step so far, but with the warming sun, it’s set to take off in the coming weeks.

Mo_Powers Nothing much is happening this week. The weather has been brilliant – loads of sunshine. It’s grown a good 10 cm and looks healthy. The humidity in the greenhouse is always around 40–50%. In full sun, it can easily reach 45 degrees. I’m going to try and fit a fan.

Mo_Powers If she keeps growing at this rate, she won’t stay a little dwarf for long. She’s growing really well and apparently tastes good too – at least if the snail is anything to go by. :) I’ve set up a drip irrigation system in the greenhouse and she gets watered twice a day. At the moment, she’s on a mix of Biobizz fertilisers.

Mo_Powers It’s had a big growth spurt. It’s more than doubled in size. The first buds are starting to appear. It’s already developing a faint scent. What I can definitely say is that it’s no longer a dwarf. I’m curious to see whether it’ll grow any taller or whether it’ll stay this size. In any case, I’m very happy with it and how it’s growing in the greenhouse.

Mo_Powers A lot has happened. I don’t think the little dwarf is a dwarf any more. At a good 60 cm, she’s probably one of the taller ones. :) She’s started flowering, which happened relatively quickly. I’ve switched the watering in the greenhouse from drip irrigation to rain mist. New timer. Now she gets watered twice a day. The temperature is sometimes impossible to measure, as it’s over 35 degrees outside. At times, it’s over 50 degrees in the greenhouse, even though all the windows and doors are open. But she’s coping with the heat quite well.
