OhioWeedDad Just started the germination process. Starting directly in the substrate and crossing my fingers for 4/4 successfully germinating! Plan is to keep here for ~ 2 weeks before moving outside for the rest of the grow.

OhioWeedDad The 3 autos seem to really be taking off! Nothing much to say about these. Haven’t added nutrients yet just letting the coco loco do the work for a bit.
The peyote wi-fi is another story, but I think we got it sorted for now? Originally the seed did not germinate directly in the substrate. After 5 days, I gave up and checked and saw that it was still a fully enclosed seed. What I did then, was replace the seed with a new one directly in the substrate, but also as a last ditch effort used the paper towel method on the “bad” seed. Long story short, both have germinated and this is now a 5 plant grow. Those are about a week behind the others!

OhioWeedDad Put the 3 autos outside in the 10 gallon pots for the rest of the grow! They seemed to take extremely well and be happy in their new pot.
One snag: after being out less than 24 hours the northern lights was getting eaten by something! To mitigate I put neem oil on immediately and bought copper wire to put around the base in case it’s a slug or snail.
2 weeks since I started germinating!

OhioWeedDad Lots of pictures this week! Nothing crazy going on other than growing and stuff u know. Starting giving some nutes to the autos but nothing crazy. It’s the general hydroponics flora series + calimagic. Following some schedule I found online for now that seems to be working well! Will adjust if I see issues. Also started some lst on Friday and the plants responded really well so far to that! Also bonus!!!! Last pic is of the WiFi peyote photo that took too long to get going and won’t have enough time outside for a big harvest but will see how it does in just a few weeks of veg.

OhioWeedDad 3 weeks since germination started!!! We are just growing along as I’m trying to expose as many bud sites as possible with training and tucking. The 2 northern lights and blue dream autos are doing really well! Also in the pictures is the peyote WiFi photo that is doing really, really well although prob won’t have enough of a veg period to be really bountiful! Maybe I get lucky and it’s late but it was a freebie from @seedsman.official so we will take what we get :)

OhioWeedDad Really incredible week!!!
Full disclosure I was on vacation from sat-Friday and had limited resources to help while I was out. Planned it out so that they only needed one watering with nutes and got lucky with some rain when I was away. Low stress training got compeltely away from me but I was really only experimenting with it anyway since I was outside. We are not gonna stress these girls out anymore at this point and just let them grow!
They had some explosive growth this week when I was away! I was just so thrilled and delighted to see how tall and bushy they were when I returned! The two northern lights are doing well but the blue dream is getting really big and bushy in a way I like. Also accidentally topped that one so that’s why it’s bushy whoops!

OhioWeedDad The three autos are continuing to grow along and do well! The two northern lights are budding up nicely but started flowering maybe a week or even two before the blue dream. This gave the blue dream some more time to fill out so it’s looking much more robust than the northern lights overall but not as much flowering going on there. This first run has always been about learning as much as possible and not about doing everything exactly perfect but I did realize this week that I was most likely not giving the girls as many nutes as they could have taken. The plants don’t have any major deficiencies, but in the future I will be more aggressive with feeding than I was this time around. Not making any modifications to the indoor plan right now but grow #3 will most likely include some automatic watering system I use to dial in a high frequency fertigation strategy.
In the spirit of using this as a learning exercise I decided to top the photo! Took it down right above the 5th node. It’s been growing more slowly than I would like, but increased the concentration of nutrients for her too so hoping to see some explosive growth out of her this week! She’s growing slowly but honestly seems to be really strong and healthy. We should have another 5-6 weeks of veg with her so honestly I’m really excited to see what happens there. May end up being the biggest of the bunch when it’s all said and done!
